Abstract

In the field of language teaching, teachers or instructor are always looking approaches, methods and techniques which good to help students to more easily mastering the vocabulary in each subject, this makes me as a japanese language teacher trying to make a design using the technique as integrative teaching. In this paper described that teaching vocabulary using the theory of Paul Nation. A method described by H. Douglas Brown as a design which associate a language skill is intended that students memorize vocabulary more easily found in every lessons. This teaching method combines integrative teaching language skills such as listening, speaking, reading and writing in the design of teaching and apply it to the existing courses in Japanese language study program at the National University. Abstract

The objective of this research is to review negation expression for conversation in Minna no Nihongo I, Japanese textbook by Sapir-Whorf Hypothesis. Sapir-Whorf Hypothesis is a hypothesis which shows an interrelationship between language and the mind. In Japanese the relationship between the mind and language has created a language reality in which language influenced by the cultures of the Japanese society. The influencing cultures for example are to show friendliness, modesty and others or a part of the public humility face. The negative form expression is represented by words which shows kind words in the ordinary style of the Japanese Language and kind of words in Japanese communication style. The use of negative expression is based on who is talking to whom, from which he or she comes, and what is the status of the speaker and the hearer. The correct use of the expression reflect an understanding of the culture on Japanese society

Abstract

Kanji are letter comes from China which are also used as a writing system in Japanese. Kanji are read in two ways, Onyomi and Kunyomi. The basic root of Kanji character is called Bushu. Bushu consists of many types of which one of them is called Shitagokoro. Bushu Shitagokoro is a root that has (kokoro) written at the bottom of a Kanji and symbolizes nature and feelings. Based on the theory of meaning of Denotation and Connotation by Gorys Keraf and the theory of the formation of Kanji or Rikusho, this study aims to determine the interpretation of the meaning of Kanji which has the basic character of Bushu Shitagokoro. This research examines using library research in the data collection stage and descriptive methods in the data analysis stage. The results obtained in this study are 12 Kanji in the form of Keisei Moji and Kaii Moji which have the basic character of Shitagokoro which are included in Jouyou Kanji or Kanji that are used in general. Keywords : Rikusho, Kanji Root, Shitagokoro, Denotation, Connotation

Abstract

Proses komunikasi pada bilingual menyebabkan munculnya peristiwa kebahasaan sebagai akibat dari adanya kontak bahasa. Salah satu akibat adanya peristiwa kontak bahasa adalah terjadinya interferensi. Penelitian ini mengangkat masalah adanya pengaruh gramatika bahasa Indonesia yang memengaruhi tuturan bahasa Jepang mahasiswa sehingga menyebabkan terjadinya interferensi. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis bentuk interferensi sintaksis dalam tataran frasa, kemudian mencari interferensi tataran frasa apa saja yang muncul dan apa penyebab terjadinya dengan mengaitkannya pada kategori intralingual yaitu salah satu bidang kesalahan berbahasa pada pembelajar bahasa kedua. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif. Pengumpulan data diambil dengan cara catat dan rekam. Hasil analisis menunjukkan adanya interferensi pada frasa verba, frasa nomina, frasa adjektiva dan frasa numeralia. Interferensi frasa verba paling banyak muncul karena adanya perbedaan dalam sistem gramatikal yaitu adanya bentuk konyugasi yang tidak ada dalam verba bahasa Indonesia, begitu juga sistem gramatika yang sama pada adjektiva karena mahasiswa kesulitan menuturkan secara langsung konyugasi adjektiva dalam bahasa Jepang. Frasa nomina muncul karena adanya sistem gramatikal M-D dalam bahasa Jepang namun dalam bahasa Indonesia merupakan sistem D-M. Interferensi frasa numeralia terjadi karena adanya perbedaan fungsi dalam bahasa Jepang yang digunakan sebagai sufiks yang berbedabeda sesuai dengan jenis benda yang dituturkan. Pada klasifikasi kesalahan yang menyebabkan interferensi yaitu bidang intralingual yang disebabkan oleh bahasa asing yang dipelajari. Urutan kategori terbanyak yaitu diawali darikategori Ignorance of Rule Restriction, False Analogy, Hypercorrection, Hyperextension dan Overgeneralizaton. Abstract

This research was conducted to determine the meaning of denotation and connotation contained in the songs Kokoro No Tomo, Amayadori, and Koibito Yo by Mayumi Itsuwa. The method used to analyze these three songs is a descriptive method, which is a method that is carried out by describing facts which are then compiled with an analysis of the denotative and connotative meanings of words by Gorys Keraf and stylistic theory by Nyoman Kuta Ratna. As a result of this research, the authors found different meanings contained in the three songs. In the meaning of the lyrics of the song Kokoro No Tomo, namely love which has the meaning of love and affection, then there is also the symbol of Nina Bobo which has the meaning of putting children to sleep with singing and pleasing others with high statements or promises. Then in the lyrics of the song Amayadori there is also a symbol of forgiveness which has the meaning of giving forgiveness for mistakes and does not consider wrong again, and there is also a symbol of meeting which has the meaning of meeting, meeting and face to face, while in the song Koibito Yo, there is symbol that shows affection which so deep into her lover. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui makna denotasi dan konotasi yang terdapat pada lagu Kokoro No Tomo, Amayadori, dan Koibito Yo karya Mayumi Itsuwa. Metode yang digunakan untuk menganalisis ketiga lagu ini adalah metode deskriptif, yaitu metode yang dilakukan dengan cara mendeskripsikan fakta-fakta yang kemudian disusun dengan analisis dari makna kata secara denotatif dan konotatif oleh Gorys Keraf dan teori stilistika oleh Nyoman Kuta Ratna. Sebagai hasil dari penelitian ini, penulis menemukan makna yang berbeda yang terdapat pada ketiga lagu tersebut. Di makna pada lirik lagu Kokoro No Tomo, yaitu cinta yang memiliki makna suka sekali dan sangat sayang, lalu terdapat pula simbol Nina Bobo yang memiliki makna menidurkan anak dengan nyanyian dan menyenangkan hati orang lain dengan pernyataan atau janji yang tinggi. Kemudian di dalam lirik lagu Amayadori terdapat pula simbol memaafkan yang memiliki makna memberi ampun atas kesalahan dan tidak menganggap salah lagi, serta terdapat pula simbol pertemuan yang memiliki makna berjumpa, bersua dan berhadapan muka, sedangkan dalam lagu Koibito Yo, ada simbol yang menunjukkan rasa sayang yang begitu dalam terhadap kekasihnya.
