Abstract

Background: Neonates Hiperbilirubin is a state resembling liver disease found in newborns due to hyperbilirubinemia and is one of urgency that often occurs in newborns, as much as 25-50% in term infants and 80% in low birth weight babies. In 2016 the period of January to June in the Pasutri Maternity Hospital Bogor Hiperbilirubin number of cases as many as 95 babies. The purpose of this study was to determine the factors related with the incidence of neonatal Hiperbilirubin in the Pasutri Maternity Hospital Bogor West Java Province. This research is a quantitative analytical research using case control design. The population in this study were all neonatus hiperbilirubin recorded in the Pasutri Maternity Hospital Bogor West Java Province. The total number of population were 1270 babys, with 95 sample cases and 95 babys for sample control. Data analysis included univariate analysis using frequency distribution and bivariate analysis using chi square to see the relationship between the variables studied. Results of univariate analysis showed age full-term pregnancies as many (55.8%), abnormal type of labor as much (57.4%), weight <2,500 g total (47.9%) and infants with male gender as (59.5%). The results of the bivariate analysis showed there are relationships between gestational age (p-value 0.009), type of delivery (p-value 0.002) and birth weight (p-value 0.000). And no relationship with gender (p-value 0.104) and the incidence Hiperbilirubin. Suggestions put forward for health officials to provide information to parents about the signs Hiperbilirubin and treatment of infants with Hiperbilirubin.

Abstract

Background: Integrated Service Post (Posyandu) is a container of health care conducted, by and for the community guided by related officers. (Ministry of Health RI) Activities in Posyandu are highly dependent on the role of cadres. Kader is a volunteer from the community. The achievement of children under five is nationally weighed 80,8%. For the Province of Bali there are 4,783 posyandu with achievement of underweight exceeded national achievement figure that is equal to 87%. The number of Integrated Service Post (Posyandu) is 310,737 posyandu (Ministry of Health, 2013). The purpose of this study is to look at factors related to the activeness of cadres in the implementation of Posyandu Balita in Jayalaksana Village Working Area Puskesmas Cabangbungin Bekasi Regency West Java Province in 2017. The method used is quantitative research with analytic survey, using cross sectional design with population 40 cadres Data analysis to see the relationship between the variables studied. Result of univariate analysis showed less active cadre (67,5%) while active (32,5%), lowest education 55%, unsupportive family support 60%, unfavorable motivation 52,5 % And awards are not given as much as 62.5%. The result of bivariate analysis shows. There is a significant relationship between education (p-value 0,000); Family support (p-value 0,000); (P-value 0,000) and between cadre motivation (p-value 0,025) with cadre activation in posyandu Toddler in Jayalaksana Village Working Area of Puskesmas Cabangbungin Bekasi Regency 2017. Suggestion: Village Head as party having authority and moral in village environment It is expected to provide good support for the cadres who are active in posyandu activities and for health workers to directly provide information about posyandu problems to the cadres so as to increase the motivation of cadres which will be themed the activity of posyandu cadres.

Abstract

Child health problems is one of the main problems in the field of health, until now diarrhoeal disease is still a global health problem, especially in developing countries. From year to year diarrhea remains one of the diseases that cause malnutrition and mortality in children. The incidence of childhood diarrhoeal disease in Cijoro Pasir Village Lebak Regency of Banten Province amounted to 182 (18%) toddlers. The purpose of this study is to determine what factors are associated with the incidence of diarrhea. The type of research is descriptive quantitative research with cross sectional approach. The population in the study was 1010 people and only 94 toddlers were sampled by accidental sampling.Univariate analysis showed that most of the toddlers had diarrhea (53,2%), with low birth weight (55,3%), less nutrition status (51,1%), non-exclusive breastfeeding (54.3%) and incomplete primary immunization (55.3%). Conclusion: There was a relationship between birth weight (p = 0.044), nutritional status (p = 0,000), exclusive breastfeeding (p = 0.026), and primary immunization (p = 0.015) with diarrhea occurrence in toddlers. Toddlers with less nutritional status is the most dominant variable having diarrhea chance with OR = 6,857. Suggestion: To prevent diarrhea occurrence in toddlers, puskesmas could provide the information or giving counseling and education about nutrition status, monitoring and measuring nutrition status and making improvement effort against diarrhea risk factors in toddlers.
