Abstract

Abstract

Personal disorder is a type of mental illness. People with personal disorder can not respond changes and demands of life in normal ways. Women with type B personal disorder tend to have high risk of violence. It is important to make early detetction of this personal disorder, so that it can be anticipated properly. This paper reports an architecture model of back propagation neural network (BPPN) for early detection of type B personal disorder. The back propagation process divided into two phases, i.e training and testing. The training process used 43 data and the testing process used 34 data. The output classified into 4 diagnosis category of type B personal disorder, I.e. anti social, borderline, histrionic, and narcissistics. The optimal parameters of BPPN model consist of maximum epoch of 1000, maximum mu of 10000000000, increase mu of 25, decrease mu of 0.1, and neuron hidden layer of 25. The MSE of training is 3.07E-14 and MSE of testing is 1.00E-03. The accuracy of training is 90.7%, while the accuracy of testing is 97.2%.

Abstract

Indonesia is a country that is rich in culture and customs. Indonesia also has great potential in the field of tourism, especially cultural tourism. The key to attracting tourist visitors lies in the information media provided. In this paper, a desktop-based application is developed with 3D virtual reality graphics model technology with Tongkonan traditional house from the Toraja tribe and their environment as the object. This 3D virtual reality visualization aims to be an interactive promotional media for the millennial generation in introducing cultural tourism, especially the Tongkonan traditional house of Toraja. In this application, the user can explore the traditional house objects as a whole – with the help of navigation control in the form of keyboard and mouse. The ADDIE model method was used in designing this desktop application. The user response test was used to measure respondents' attitudes toward the application using the Likert scale and succeeded in getting the very good category in 17 questionnaire statements and the good category in three questionnaire statements. Therefore, it can be concluded that the VR visualization of Tongkonan Traditional House can act as an interactive promotional media to the millennial generation.

Abstract

The physiological changes during the pregnancy period increase the risk of developing pulmonary edema and acute respiratory failure. This condition falls under critical medical emergencies associated with maternal mortality. This study utilized a convolutional neural networks (CNN) architectural model employing chest Xray dataset images. CNN utilizes the convolution process by moving a convolutional kernel of a certain size across an image, allowing the computer to derive new representative information from the multiplication of portions of the image with the utilized filter. To simplify, the vanishing gradient issue occurs when information dissipates before reaching its destination due to the lengthy path between input and output layers. This study was developed model for detection acute cardiogenic pulmonary Edema in pre-eclampsia cases using chest Xray images, implemented using PyTorch, Keras, and MxNet. The validated model achieved its optimum with accuracy 90.65% and binary cross-entropy loss (BCELoss) value of 0.4538. It exhibited an improved sensitivity value of 83.514% using a 5% dataset and a specificity value of 57.273%. This indicates an increase in sensitivity value by 83.514% using a 5% data set and a specificity value of 57.273%. The research results demonstrate an improvement in accuracy compared to several similar studies that also utilized CNN models.

Abstract

This study aims to design a cognitive game that stimulates early childhood motor development while introducing knowledge about animals and their types of food. The development of the game utilizes the Mechanics, Dynamics, and Aesthetics (MDA) framework along with the Greenfoot software. The mechanics component includes genre, objectives, platform, rating, levels, and artistic concept. The dynamics component covers storyline, gameplay controls, challenges, and game rules, while the aesthetics component emphasizes sensation, narrative, engagement, and fantasy. Players interact with the game by feeding animals based on their appropriate diets. The storyline centers on various animal habitats, where each level represents an environment with increasing difficulty—basic, intermediate, and advanced—while also providing motor stimulation. Participatory observation was conducted in several playgroups in West Jakarta to gain insights into the game's impact and identify the key elements that capture players’ interest. Evaluation of user responses showed that out of seven assessed statements, five received a "Very Good" rating, while the remaining two were rated as "Good" by 45 respondents. In terms of percentage, the highest achievement reached 90%, indicating that the Feeding Frog game demonstrates high clarity and ease of understanding, and holds potential as a tool to assist parents in stimulating children’s cognitive development.
