Abstract

Until now there are still many people who do not know how to improve, and how to care for them. LPG in homes. Therefore we need a tool that can tell through the application if there is an accurate and fast LPG gas leak.Arduino and applications are made using LPG gas based on PPM levels in LPG tubes, and can also use LPG tube temperature and humidity that change suddenly in a certain period of time. If a leak occurs, the gas application will immediately notify you of the LPG leak.Based on the results of testing that has been done, Arduino can protect gas leaks through PPM levels and can also protect gas leakage through temperature and humidity. Arduino can also directly turn off LPG gas by turning the regulator knob to the off position. Arduino and applications can run properly according to their functions. The application can also provide notifications in the event of a gas leak.

Abstract

Presence is a recording of student attendance in attending a course. With the presence of these records, especially for Petra Christian University, students can observe the number of attendance in each course. During this time the presence at Petra Christian University was done manually, namely with paper for signatures. There are several obstacles such as no data backup when the paper is lost, and too much paper usage. Therefore, another alternative is needed to reduce these obstacles.In this journal, a presence system will be created using RFID technology and Arduino which is connected to the presence website that can help students, lecturers, departments and BAAK in viewing attendance and processing the data.The final result of this journal is a tool that has been designed and a website to facilitate students and lecturers in presenting. In addition, presence data which is stored in the database can be processed by departments and BAAK.

Abstract

Bank locker is a much needed facility, especially in public places. The lack of these bank lockers are very unsettling for those who carry a lot of luggage. From those many locker lending places in Indonesia, mostly still operated manually or using human labor. In the current era of globalization, automation is a major demand in all fields of work. Therefore, an automatic locker loan system is created from combining arduino WeMos D1 mini and android application. Android application is created using Android Studio, whereas the arduino is coded with Arduino IDE. The result of research showed that the integration of arduino and android application was successful in terms of automation and effectiveness.

Abstract

Along with the increasing number of 4-wheeled vehicles (cars), problems related to the availability of parking spaces for cars have also increased. Flow in and out of the car that is not balanced with the capacity of the parking lot. This is because the drivers/visitors do not have information about the availability of parking space before being in the parking lot.In this study, a trial will be conducted to help resolve the problem by implementing internet of things technology at the entrance and exit gates of the parking lot, and detecting the availability of parking slots. Then use a digital payment system with QR Code media for parking payments. Implementation of Internet of Things that is used at the entrance and exit gates is to use infrared sensors to detect the presence of cars at the gate and servo motor to control the parking entrance gate. While Internet of Things technology to detect parking slots is to use ultrasonic sensors. The ultrasonic sensor will always detect and send the status of each slot on the server. Then for the payment system created, will use the QR Code media as proof of parking transactions. The entire technology and system will be integrated in an application, so that it is expected to help the problem of the availability of parking lots and simplify the parking payment process.
