Abstract

Production Efficiency (PEFF) is a KPI evaluation productivity that compares of inputs and outputs in total working hours. PT TMMIN can be more competitive and profitable by strengthen productivity management through implementation PEFF. Data for calculating PEFF consists of standard time, good product quantity and actual working hour. This thesis aims to ensure the accuracy of the data of actual working hour to complete 100% step 3 on productivity management. Data of actualworking hour has been through the process of checking by HRD and will be integrated by the system for calculating PEFF. Integrated system will use PEFF Dashboard that design is made with concept of a single sourve to ensure the data used is the same for each division

Abstract

Abstract: This study was done to control the delivery system components of Plant 1 to Plant 2 for the machine assembly is not off. The main problem faced by PT. FSCM Manufacturing Indonesia is not their delivery schedules so that components are submitted can not be controlled. The next problem is the production Planning is administered orally and the misscomunication between foremen and operators that cause components to ASF (After Surface Finishing) empty. Improvement award is to create the delivery schedule number and weight of components with components that have been determined. Make a design planning card to make the order type of components to be processed so that the planning of production to be sustainable and ASF components will not be empty. To draft a new component card for improving the quality of the product components

Abstract

PT. Schneider Electric Manufacturing Batam is an industry that concern in electrical component. There is a team in this company that conduct a Master Production Planning (MPP) and vendor forecast, the MPP is a production planning that contain several constrains. But there is a missing constrain, is a warehouse capacity. By using DMAIC approach this project was started. In this project, there is a tools that can control the inventory level at SEMB’s warehouse (Batam Logistics Platform/BLP). With this tools, we can be knowing the utilization rate of the warehouse for six months ahead and knowing the most contribute of the warehouse base on supplier view and commodity view. Available capacity in BLP is 10,412.70 m3 with contain 47 rows. Then the utilization rate of warehouse in May until June is about 63%-69% when demand is in low level. The utilization rate warehouse in May until June when demand is in stable level is about 44%-54%. And when demand is in high level, the utilization rate is about 34%-48%. The additional information is to knowing the suppliers which use 80% space of warehouse capacity and the commodity. There are 35 suppliers and there are 8 commodities that use more space in warehouse.

Abstract

Nowadays, companies must have an ISO 9001-2008 certificate to be able to compete in the market. The pressure of quality management and consumers are the reason why companies need to have an ISO certificate. CV Sinar Abadi is a company that specializes in metal coating or plating and a company that has not been certified ISO 9001: 2008. CV. Sinar Abadi always competes to meet the requirements of consumers. To begin the steps of ISO 9001: 2008, a gap analysis was conducted. The outcome of the gap analysis is that the the clauses of ISO 9001: 2008 in CV. Sinar Abadi was only 22.81% fulfilled, while 77.17% have not been fulfilled. This research aims to design and implement an ISO 9001: 2008 quality management system in CV. Sinar Abadi. In result, an increase of up to 88.04% in the fulfillment of the clauses of ISO 9001: 2008 happened because of the design and implementation of ISO 9001: 2008 quality management system in CV. Sinar Abadi.

Abstract

This study focuses on factors which influenced the implementation of Advanced Manufacturing Technology (AMT) at Food, Beverage and Herbal Small Medium Enterprise (SME) in Surabaya. The study also focuses on the effect of the implementation of AMT on the SME performance. Previous research shows that there are several factors that affect the implementation of AMT in SME, such are characteristics of the organization, monitoring and strategic alliances. This study was viewed from the owner of the SME food, beverage and herbs in Surabaya. The numbers of respondents of this study are 63 respondents. Tests and analyzes were performed using SmartPls program. The analysis shows that the characteristics of the organization, monitoring and strategic alliances affect the implementation of AMT. The results of the analysis also showed that the implementation of the AMT affects the performance of SME.
