Abstract

PT X is a factory that produce roasted peanuts and have in total 110 workers in the production process. Based on the historical data, there are 20-30 work accident that happened every year. Thus, this research aim to fix the OHS system management using Hazard Identification, Risk Assesment, and Risk Control (HIRARC) of OHSAS 18001 : 2007 clause. Based on the results of the Risk Assessment, there are 7 of high risk potentials, 21 of medium risk potentials, and 26 of low risk potentials. Continued by adopting Risk Control which aims to minimize the potential hazards of high and medium risks. The result of risk controls are carried out using 5 methods, which are elimination, substitution, engineering control, administrative control, and PPE, but the most commonly used method are the elimination, administrative control, and PPE.

Abstract

This research’s purpose is to discuss the result in achieving quality goal from every department in PT. X. Process of monitoring for guality goal can be assisted by an application like Excel in the form of Dashboard  This design of monitoring system use dashboard, that could show progress or movement in achieving goal, so it enable the top management to detect any possible sign that the quality goal not achieved, and could take an immediate action to solve the problem, in order to ensure the progess ini achieving goal stay on the right track. Dashboard’s purpose is to showcase the final result in achieving goal that is displayed in the form of picture that is more attractive than only form of number. This program needs data to be inputted regularly, so it can be for this monitoring system use dashboard that needs data to be input regularly so that the data can be processed automatically because it is designed with a formula. Result of monitoring and evaluation for quality goals, nine of total eleven quality goal were achieved.

Abstract

This research aim to improve the efficiency of the production proses on the OEM 1,2 line at PT. XYZ. This research conducted because of the large idle time and low efficiency found on the OEM 1,2 line. The method used to solve this problem is using line balancing method. The unit used as a measurement is Coil-Air Cooler Z0123348 (FRONIUS). The first step of the research is to take the cycle time from the production process of Coil-Air Cooler Z0123348. The next step is to determine the performance rating and allowance of the operator to get the standard time. The standard time is used as data processing to get the initial condition of the line and the improvements that will be given. The results of the design improvement show that the second improvement is the optimum solution. The calculation results show that with the second improvement, the idle time can decrease by 75.22% and the line efficiency increases by 22.86% with worker costs / unit Rp. 8.514, -.

Abstract

The design of HIRARC is used to analyze Occupational Safety and Health at PT X. The stages used in this design by identifying hazards in the Production Department, hazard identification is carried out by field observations and interviews with operators. The next stage with risk assessment, from the results of the risk assessment the highest potential hazard values are the dangers of dust, noise hazards, and fire hazards with significant values I and II which can be classified in the medium and high risk. Control of these hazards is the making of sanctions regulations on workers who do not use personal protective equipment, make a schedule for checking machines, socialize to workers.
