Abstract

A strategic work performance measurement is required by corporation to observe their work performance. Work performance measurement is necessary to ensure if the corporate and departement’s work performance fits with the vision and objective of the corporation. PT.X is a box package manufacturing corporation and still not establish a structured and strategic work performance measurement system. Design of the work performance measurement is applied by using Balanced Scorecard and Key Performance Indicator. Design of Balanced Scorecard is started by creating the strategy map to represent the cause effect relationship of the corporate and department’s strategic objectives. After creating the strategy map, designing process of the Balance Scorecard is continued with describing the strategic objectives. All strategic objectives are described by setting the Key Performance Indicator and other components according to Balanced Scorecard’s draft. Result of the design will be implemented for 1 measurement period to review the work performance achievement.

Abstract

PT “X” is a company with business unit in the field of boxes. The company has not used measurable methods for performance measurement. Balanced scorecard method is used to measure the performance of quality objectives so that performance measurements can be measured and can be monitored. This balanced scorecard method not only financial measurement, but also for non-financial measurement too. Balanced scorecard will measures all performances in financial, customer, internal business process, and learning & growth perspection. Balanced scorecard designed for seven departements namely marketing, raw material warewhouse, purchasing, PPIC, vehicle repair shop, engineering & maintenance, and EDP. The result of the studies produced seven balanced scorecards and strategy maps of each departements. Performance measurement using balanced scorecard also produces KPI values of each departement. The result of KPI for each departements that below the target will be given an action plan for the futures.

Abstract

Compensation and Benefit Department (C&B) has some scope of works which is develop organization structure, job description, policy, and standard operating procedure. Time accuracy is the most important thing for C&B Department for doing the main jobs.  Risk analysis needs to be done in every activity for identify potential risk that might happen. Risk analysis method is assisted by two tools that is Failure Mode Effect Analysis (FMEA) and Fishbone Diagram. Potential risk, cause of failure and Risk Priority Number (RPN) might be identify from those methods. A high RPN needs to be handled first. Analysis results shows that moderate and high risks activities are regarding document approval to both the Manager and the Director. Design of improvements have been made to improve the activity. The proposed of improvements is given that the C&B team must be more proactive to follow up with the Manager or Director so that failure becomes easier to detect and is expected to reduce the value of the RPN in that activity.

Abstract

PT. X is a company engaged in the box manufacturing industry. This company produces production according to consumer demand. Box is planned in the PPIC section, but the current system has a problem which is a long production time and resulting in late delivery. Box production is planned in the PPIC section, but the current system has a problem, which is a long production time, and resulting in late delivery. The purpose of this study is to make a sequence of daily production scheduling which aims to minimize makespan. The method used to deal with this problem is dispatching rules with the method Earliest Due Date (EDD) and Shortest Processing Time (SPT). Scheduling techniques using forward and backward. The results of scheduling planning produce daily production more regularly and can track orders that are being produced. Another advantage obtained from this proposed improvement is reducing the production makespan by 136.352 seconds.

Abstract

An expedition service company is a company engaged in shipping and transportation services. Companies need to handle security systems to meet the demands of customers needing to have international standards of security systems or certification.   ISO 28000 is a standard developed to answer the demands of the industry for the need to deal with security management standards. Security is an important thing for the company. This study aims to analyze the risk of supply chain security management systems in expedition service companies. The stages carried out in this design are the making of security policies, security targets and risk analysis designs using failure mode and effect analysis (FMEA). 13 FMEA risk analysis from all departments in the company, there are 6 who have high risk and in this study the response has been designed.
