Abstract

Background: Schizophrenia is one of mental disorder occurring and raising number of problems. One of which is the ability in performing self-treatment. This phenomenon suggests that there be declination of motivation in performing self-treatment. Methods: The research purposed to know the factors related to schizophrenia patient’s ability in performing self-treatment. This research used descriptive correlation with cross-sectional approach. The samples taking were done by random sampling with 155 persons with schizophrenia as samples. The bivariate examination used Spearmen test. Results: The result of the research suggested that p value = 0,771; 0,959; 0,473; 0,500; 0,818; 0,837; 0,956 for each variable; sex, age, hallucination, delusion, violence behavior risk, the length of treatment, and the length of getting mental disorder with ability in performing self-treatment. It indicates that there is not any relationship between one variable with another. Meanwhile, variable in social isolation disturbance in body image and frequency related to how many times getting treatment with the ability in performing self-treatment. Each variable was found that p value were at 0,001; 0,001; 0,002 (p value <0, 0005). Conclusion: Those values indicate that there is relation between one variable to another. Further nursing intervention is needed to improve the ability of schizophrenia patients to perform self-care

Abstract

Kesejahteraan secara psikososial dan interaksi sehari-hari sangat dibutuhkan setiap individu dalam menjalin kumunikasi sossial secara efektif dan praktis pada lingkungannya terlebih dalam dunia Pendidikan. Kesejahteraan psikologis dangat mempengaruhi kinerja untuk memberikan pelayanan prima pada pelanggan baik internal maupun external. Tenaga kependidikan merupakan tenaga yang terintegrasi dalam institusi pendidikan tetapi tidak terlibat secara langsung dengan peserta, namum memiliki peran dan dapat mempengaruhi suasana kondusif di sebuah institusi. Permasalahannya apakah ada hubungan status kesejahteraan psikososial dengan kinerja tenaga kependidikan?. Methode peneliytian ini deskriptif kuantitatif  dengan populasi 100 orang dan sampel 57 responden. Analisis data menggunakan Spearmen Rho. Hasil penelitian : statuis Neurosuis berhungan dengan kinerja sedangkan Psikosis dan Post Traumatic Strss Disorder tidak berhubungan secara signifikans. Pembahasan: status neuriosis memiliki hubungan yang signifikans oleh karena situasi dan kondisi lingkungan sangat berpengaruh pada status psikososial individu, status psikososial individu memiliki dinamika yang sangat tinggi dan bersifat terbuka, sedangkan status psikosis dan Post Traumatic Stress Disorder tidak meiliki hubungan oleh karena status tersebut lebih menekankan dan berpengaruh pada perikaku yang menjadi karakteristik seseorang bersifat tertutup dan tidak terpoengaruh oleh lingkungan sekitar. Simpulan penelitian , status psikososial pada situasi tertentu sesuai dengan kondisi lingkungan yang menyertai individu memiliki hubungan yang signifikan.

Abstract

Stress is an unpleasant emotional reaction to real danger or imaginary that is accompanied by changes in the nervous system. The impact of people's stress is the IS, the Khawati is not calm, frustrated, angry, or nervous. One of the efforts to reduce stress on a person by giving hypnosis Therapy 5 fingers which is a form of self hypnosis purpose of this research to know the effect of hypnosis 5 fingers against the decline in stress levels in the family of schizophrenia patients in Puskesmas II East Denpasar. This research is a type of pre-experiment with the design of One-group Pre test Post Test Design with sample is 21 respondents, sampling techniques are purposive sampling. In pre-test results obtained as much as 19.05% of the data experienced mild stress levels and as many as 80.95% are experiencing moderate stress levels. After the 5-finger hypnosis therapy is obtained by post-test result data, which did not experience stress as much as 19.05% and which experienced a mild stress level of 80.95%. The pre-test and post-test results obtained a Z value of-4.025 with a signification value of P-value = 0.00. The value indicates there is a significant influence between before and after 5-finger hypnosis therapy to the level of the respondent's stress. Based on the results of this research that one form of therapy that can be applied to people with stress is with 5-finger hypnosis therapy.

Abstract

Not only mental problem do the schizophrenia patients suffer, but also physical problems. a quantitative descriptive with a cross-sectional approach model was hired in this research. This research employed 113 schizophrenia patients at the psykiatric hospital in Bali Province as samples with simple random technique. The instrument used to measure independence in performing personal hygiene was an observation sheet with Gordon's assessment scale and physical health assessment used an observation sheet, sphigmomanometer, scales and a meter to measure height. The results showed from the physical health assessment of the Body Mass Index in the most schizophrenia patients with a normal weight were 83 persons (73.5%), the thin patients were 12 persons (10.6%), More Body Weight were 5 persons (4.4%), obesity were 13 persons (11.5%), without concomitant diseases were 104 persons (92%), hypertension patient were 9 persons (8%). Independence in performing self-care were 69 respondents (61.1%) in the category of needing help, the majority of respondents were 79 respondents (69.9%), the category of needing assistance, self-care eating were 94 respondents (83.2%,) the category of needing help, toileting were 70 respondents (62.0%), Independence in performing personal hygiene was at 64 respondents (56.6%)
