Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui pola pengasuhan yang terjadi di lembaga Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui pola pengasuhan yang terjadi di lembaga PAUD maupun dalam lingkungan keluarga serta hubungannya terhadap pemilihan permainan dan aktivitas keagamaan AUD. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah mixed methods dengan desain concurrent embedded. Penelitian dilaksanakan di eks-karesidenan Madiun dengan pemilihan sampel melalui purposive sampling pada data yang diperoleh menggunakan metode kualitatif dan random sampling pada data kuantitatif. Data tersebut dikumpulkan menggunakan angket, observasi, dan wawancara yang kemudian dianalisis berdasarkan karakteristiknya melalui deskriptif kualitatif dan statistik inferensial. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan Pertama masyarakat telah responsif gender pada pengasuhan AUD dan cenderung bebas pada aspek stereotipe, subordinasi, dan marginalisasi, Kedua, pemahaman responsif gender dalam pemilihan pemainan yang dimiliki guru lebih baik daripada orang tua/pengasuh, sedangkan pemilihan aktivitas keagamaan tidak ada perbedaan, dan Ketiga adanya hubungan signifikan antara pola asuh dalam lingkungan keluarga dan lembaga PAUD terhadap pemilihan permainan, namun berbeda pada pemilihan aktivitas keagamaannya dimana hubungan signifikan hanya pada lingkungan keluarga.Kata Kunci: Pengasuhan Anak, Berperspektif Gender, Pemilihan Permainan, Aktivitas Keagamaan

Abstract

Abstract: Women’s representation in politics in Indonesia has been secured despite inequal percentage compared to the men. For instance, the results of the 2019 legislative elections for women only accounted for 20.5% or 118 seats of the 560 existing seats. On the other hand, it seems that the performance of women in parliament is also questionable. Thus, this research was conducted to find out and understand how was the performance of women politicians, their contribution to women empowerment and the obstacles they faced. This descriptive-explorative qualitative research was conducted in Ponorogo as a district in the former Residency of Madiun which always gets the highest number of women politicians in each elections until 2019. The research subjects were selected using purposive sampling toward women legislature members of DPRD Ponorogo. Meanwhile, the data was obtained through interviews, observation, and documentation. Furthermore, for the data analysis the author employed Harvard gender analysis and used data triangulation as one of the data verification techniques. The results of this study concluded that the performance of women legislative members was less satisfactory. This can be seen from 3 aspects; responsiveness, accountability and effectiveness. In addition, some obstacles they faced are (a) the strong patriarchal culture in the legislative environment, (b) weak coordination among women legislative members, (c) patterns of relationships that are built on a transactional basis, and (d) politically charged programs.

Abstract

This research is motivated by a segregate learning model between men and women known as Single Sex Education (SSE). This model is regarded as one of the causes of lasting gender inequality, especially in pesantren. This research reveals; (1) the application of SSE, (2) the underlying reason and (3) its implications for the achievement of female students in pesantren in Ponorogo. This gender perspective qualitative research is the main data source is the words and actions of kiai, nyai, teachers and students selected by purposive sampling and snowballing. Data obtained through observation techniques, interviews, FGD and documentation are then analyzed by SSE theory. The result showed that (1) SSE is applied to the physical environment and student’s activities. In detail the segregation took place at a formal educational institution; MA, MTs and MD, organizational structure of foundations, boarding lodging, classroom learning, extra activities, and facilities. (2) The gender segregation is based on several reasons; religious, pragmatic, emergency, emancipatory and cultural. (3) It has positive implications for the existence of female students, because it has successfully increased the potential of female students from the academic, creative and independent aspects.

Abstract

Perempuan pekerja pada masa kini mulai banyak, begitu pula pada profesi dalam bidang seperti seorang bidan yang di Indonesia hanya menilai seorang perempuan saja.Seorang bidan yang bekerja di puskesmas dan membuka praktik sendiri di rumah sangat rentan terhadap virus. Wabah COVID-19 yang telah hidup bersama masyarakat selama hampir tiga tahun ini menjadi ancaman nyata bagi setiap orang, khususnya tenaga kesehatan. Apa saja bidan tersebut juga merupakan bidan wilayah yang memiliki tanggung jawab kesehatan satu wilayah desa atau kelurahan. Selain beban, sebagai seorang perempuan yang selalu dilekatkan dengan pekerjaan domestik menjadikkannya beban ganda. Tulisan ini akan melihat bagaimana seorang bidan wilayah menyeimbangkan dan menganalisis terhadap WLB (Work-Life Balance).Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan metode kualitatif dengan data yang diperoleh dari hasil observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Hasilnya, seorang bidan wilayah dapat mencapai keseimbangan kehidupan-kerja atau WLB (Work-Life Balance) sehingga mampu memenuhi faktor-faktor WLB seperti adanya keseimbangan waktu, keterlibatan, dan kepuasan. Dalam tulisan, bidan wilayah yang menjadi objek kajian mampu mencapai WLB sebab mampu mengatasi faktor-faktor tersebut.

Abstract

Pondok pesantren (Islamic boarding school) has improved in many aspects, including the quality in Indonesia. However, since 2020, sexual and physical abuses have occurred in pesantren that attract public attention. This phenomenon indirectly made many parties question the existence of pesantren. Based on the government directives, pesantren was supposed to be a safe and comfortable environment for learners. This paper presents the efforts of four pesantren in Indonesia to become child-friendly places. Findings based on the qualitative study reported in this paper show that child-friendly pesantren program has been initiated and developed by main figures, such as Kyai/nyai (pesantren leader), ustadz/ustadzah (teachers), and students (santri). Each pesantren has almost the same exertions, namely optimizing three main areas; subjects, management, and infrastructure, but the characteristics of the pesantren still impact the detail stages employed. For instance, Salaf pesantren still strive traditionally, while modern and semi-modern pesantren have begun to adapt to technological advances and current needs.

Abstract

This research aims to identify the leadership style of Kyai in monitoring the quality of education at Ma'had Al-Jami'ah UIN Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang, as well as the strategic steps of kiai in improving the quality of the Ma'had Al-Jami'ah institution. This research is qualitative research type using descriptive-analytic method. This research was conducted at Ma'hadal-Jami'ah UIN Malang. The primary sources are Kyai, Murabby, Musyrif, Mu'allim, and Mahasantri Ma'hadalJami'ah UIN Maliki Malang. And secondary sources are books, dissertations, theses, journals, articles, and other related sources. with research. Then the data collection technique uses document review, in-depth interviews, and observation. The results of this research concluded that the leadership style of kiai in Ma'had al-Jami'ah UIN Malang used the Transformasional leadership style. This can be seen from his charismatic figure and his capability for being a role model (uswah) in making any decisions (Idealized Influence), he also very inspiring and always motivating all the academic community of Ma’had al-Jami'ah (inspirational motivation), encouraging musyrif/ah, Murabbi/ah to always do innovation (Intellectual stimulation), He always listen any input and suggestions from the musyrif/ah, Murabbi ah (Individualized reason). This research emphasizes the study of kiai leadership in terms of maintaining the quality of education, This very differ with previous research which is only discuss about quality issues related to institutional transformasional leadership studies without the existence of central figure, which is researched by many scholars such as Ahmad Maki in his thesis under entitled "Leadership Transformasional in fostering tolerance”

Abstract

Sekolah Luar Biasa (SLB) yang didirikan untuk membantu Anak Berkebutuhan Khusus (ABK) dalam mengakses pendidikan, ternyata di sisi lain menjadikan anak-anak ini terkelompokkan berdasar pada kategorisasi kekhususannya, sehingga mereka menjadi eksklusif. Hal ini berbeda dengan pendidikan inklusif yang memberikan kesempatan kepada semua anak untuk belajar bersama-sama di sekolah umum. Kesempatan belajar tersebut dilaksanakan dengan memperhatikan keragaman dan kebutuhan serta peran gender masing-masing individu. Paperini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan pembelajaran bernuansa Gender Equality and Social Inclusion ( GESI)di sekolah inklusi di Ponorogo. Analisis difokuskan pada aspek akses, partisipasi, kontrol, dan manfaat dalam pembelajaran di sekolah tersebut. Tahapan paperdimulai dari pengumpulan data (observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi), analisis data yang meliputi tahapan reduksi data, paparan data dan verifikasi data serta penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menyatakan bahwa pembelajaran bernuansa GESI diterapkan dalam pelaksanaan pembelajaran dengan cara memperhatikan kebutuhan dan kemampuan siswa yang beragam terutama pada siswa berkebutuhan khusus dan tanpa membeda-bedakan antara peran laki-laki dan perempuan.[The Special School (SLB), which was established to assist Children with Special Needs (ABK) in accessing education,  in fact makes these children were grouped into their specificity so that they become exclusive. This is different with  inclusive education, which provides opportunities for all children to learn together in public schools. These learning opportunities are implemented by considering each individual’s diversity and needs and gender roles. This study aims to describe learning process with Gender Equality and Social Inclusion (GESI) in inclusive schools in Ponorogo. The analysis focuses on access, participation, control, and benefits in learning at the school. The research stages began with data collection (observation, interviews, and documentation), data analysis that included data reduction, data exposure, data verification, and conclusion. The study results  that GESI-style learning is applied in learning by paying attention to students’ various needs and abilities, especially students with special needs, without differentiating between men’s and women’s roles.]

Abstract

Dampak Covid 19 bagi ojek online sebagai salah satu pekerja informal yang terkena dampak penurunan ekonomi akibat Covid-19 yang selanjutnya berpengaruh juga pada ekonomi keluarga. Krisis ekonomi yang dirasakan tidak hanya berpengaruh secara fisik saja, namun juga secara sosial dan psikologis. Penelitian ini bertujuan menjawab bagaimana pengupayaan ketahanan keluarga terhadap berbagai problematika kehidupan keluarga ojek online di Kabupaten Ponorogo pada masa pandemi Covid-19. Jenis penelitian ini bersifat kualitatif atau penelitian lapangan dengan data yang didapatkan dari wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Teori yang digunakan adalah teori ketahanan keluarga dengan metode analisa deskriptif. Penelitian ini menghasilkan kesimpulan bahwa seluruh keluarga telah menunjukkan adaptasi yang positif terhadap berbagai problematika yang sedang dihadapi. Adapun strategi koping yang dilakukan melalui penerapan komunikasi yang efektif dan komitmen yang tinggi serta diimbangi pula oleh spiritualitas keluarga. [The impact of Covid 19 for online motorcycle taxis as one of the informal workers affected by the economic decline due to Covid-19 which in turn also affects the family economy. The perceived economic crisis does not only affect physically, but also socially and psychologically. This study aims to answer how to strive for family resilience against various problems of online motorcycle taxi family life in Ponorogo Regency during the Covid-19 pandemic. This type of research is qualitative or field research with the data conducted by interview, observation, and documentaion. The theory used is the theory of family resilience and the analysis method is analysis description. This research concludes that the whole family has shown positive adaptation to the various problems they are facing. The coping strategies are carried out through the application of effective communication and high commitment and are also balanced by family spirituality.]
