Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan pandangan Islam terhadap penyandang disabilitas dan aksesibilitasnya terhadap pendidikan. Melalui metode kualitatif, penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Islam memandang bahwa pendidikan merupakan suatu hak dan kewajiban bagi seluruh manusia, tanpa terkecuali, termasuk bagi penyandang disabilitas. Penyandang disabilitas merupakan bagian dari umat manusia yang mempunyai hak dan kewajiban dasar yang sama untuk belajar dan menuntut ilmu. Akan tetapi dalam realitanya kesempatan dan fasilitas bagi penyandang disabilitas kurang mendapatkan perhatian. Demikian juga dengan kebijakan-kebijakan yang kurang sensitif terhadap disabilitas.Kata Kunci:Disabilitas, Aksesibilitas, Pendidikan.The research aimed to describe the Islamic view against persons with disabilities and their accessibility to education. Through qualitative method, this research will find the Islamic view against persons with disabilities and accessibility to education. The research finding that the Islamic view that education is right and obligation to all men, without exception, including persons with disabilities. 3 Persons with disabilities are part of the human who have rights and obligations equal basis learning and studying. But in reality the opportunity and facilities for persons with disabilities received less attention. Likewise, the policies issued that less sensitive to disability.Keywords:Disability, Accessibility, Education.
