Abstract

Living in borading school disciplin and strict activity schedules, demanding that students should be able to adapt to survive in the environment. In while, the student are also required to be independent living separately from parents Dhofier (1985) divided into two types of boarding schools: traditional (salafi) and modern (khalafi). The differences in the two lies in how to teach, the pattern relations between student and teachers, as well as learning level.The aimed of this study was to determine whether there are difference in adjustments to the traditional boarding school students and modern. Subjects in this study are a members of boarding school students amount 96 persons. Purposive Random Sampling was used to measuring a scale of adjustment and then analyzed by ANAVA 2 ways. The data analysis showed that F score between A said 42,082 (p = 0,000 or p < 0,01). Mean that there is a significantly differences in adjustments to the traditional boarding school students shows better adjustment than the modern ones. It showed from the adjustments average level for traditional boarding school students (A1) = 138,413 and the modern ones average level (A2) = 116,860. The empirical mean for adjustments variabel is 127,188 and hypothetical mean is 115. It is also showed that both traditional or modern ways are in medium adjusments level.

Abstract

Pola kehidupan pondok pesantren yang serba disiplin serta padatnya jadwal kegiatan, menuntut santri harus bisa menyesuaikan diri agar nisa bertahan di lingkungan tersebut. Sementara itu santri juga dituntut hidup mandiri terpiah dari orang tua. Secara garis besar, Dhofier (1985) membagi pondok pesantren menjadi dua macam yakni pondok pesantren tradisional (salafi) dan modern (khalafi). Perbedaan keduanya terletak pada cara pengajaran, pola hubungan santri-kiai, serta penjenjangan belajar. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui ada tidaknya perbedaan penyesuaian diri santri di pondok pesantren tradisional dan modern. Hipotesis yang diajukan adalah ada perbedaan penyesuaian diri antara santri di pondok pesantren tradisional dan modern. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah santri Pondok Pesantren An-Naim Ajisoko Sragen, Salamah Wa Barokah Sragen dan Al-Muayyad Surakarta dengan jumlah 96 orang. Pengambilan sampel yakni purposive random sampling dengan alat ukur skala penyesuaian diri, lalu dianalisis dengan anava 2 jalur. Hasil analisis data menunjukan nilai F antara A sebesar 42,082 dengan p = 0,000 atau p < 0,01. Artinya, ada perbedaan penyesuaian diri yang sangat signifikan antara santri di pondok pesantren tradisonal dan modern. Penyesuaian diri santri di pondok pesantren tradisional (A1) sebesar 138,413 dan nilai rerata penyesuaian diri pada santri pondok modern (A2) sebesar 116,860 Mean empirik penyesuaian diri sebesar 127,188 dan mean hipotetik penyesuaian diri sebesar 115. Hal ini menunjukan bahwa penyesuaian diri santri di pondok pesantren tradisional maupun modern tergolong sedang.

Abstract

The use of gadgets that are less controlled among children causes anxiety for parents. It not only affects the academic value and personality of the child, but also on the interaction pattern of parents and children. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of the "The Role of Parents in Assisting Children's Gadget Use" training on parent-child interactions. The research method used is a quantitative experiment with a one group before-after experimental design. The training program is given to parents for one session with a duration of 120 minutes. The subjects of this study were parents aged 25-40 years and had children aged 5-12 years living in Dukuh Tanggan, Gesi, Sragen. The research sample is 15 people. The data collection in this study used a scale of parent-child interaction patterns. The hypothesis test used is Paired Samples T-Test with a pretest mean of 87.40 and a post-test mean of 93.33, with a t value of -1,347 and sig. (2 tailed) = 0.035. Thus, this training was able to significantly improve the pattern of parent-child interaction.
