Abstract

This study is motivated by the low basic literacy problem of children. Based on news from Republika (Darma, 2020) states that the ability to process information through literacy or literacy culture in Indonesian society is very low. Chairman of the Indonesian Literacy Culture Development Forum Satria Darma said, based on research results from international institutions, the literacy culture of the Indonesian people is very low compared to other countries in the world. The reading position of Indonesian students ranks 57th out of the 65 countries studied (PISA). "PISA said, the literacy results of students in Indonesia are below level three and one, only 0.4% have literacy level four," he said. Based on these problems the researchers were moved to conduct a study about family education in strengthening basic literacy in children. in order to contribute to knowledge about how family education is to strengthen basic literacy in children. This study uses a qualitative descriptive approach, the problems in this study are described clearly based on the theory of family education in strengthening literacy in children so that they become provisions in educating children. from this research, it produces knowledge and ways to educate families to strengthen basic literacy in children.

Abstract

Sociological study of literature is an analysis of literary works using a sociological approach to see therelationship between Tuhan Izinkan Aku Menjadi Pelacur TIAMP's novel work and realistic facts orfacts contained in the TIAMP novel, where literature is part of the description of the realities of sociallife. Literature will die without the presence of people that exist in literature. The author of the novelis an author who is also a member of society. In the story, the literary work presents the social realityof life that occurs in society in a story with a few economic, social, political, cultural, artistic andother problems. Of course, it contains the noble values of culture if we examine more deeply. In thisstudy, the researcher will examine the study of literature and society that touches the problems ofliterature and society in the political, economic, religious, and social aspects contained in the facts ofthe story in the novel and will describe the influence of society on problems in the TIAMP novel seenfrom the economic, political aspects. , religion, and social and from the analysis of the novel carriedout a parameterized assessment of the didactic study, so that the dictatorship of the TIAMP novel wasillustrated. The research method used was descriptive qualitative. The researcher will describe thefacts of the story in the novel related to problems in the economic, religious, and social aspects andthe people's perspective in solving the problems in the novel Lord Let Me Be a Pelacur. The results ofthis study can find the intertwined relationship between literature and society sociologically in termsof economic, social, and religious aspects.

Abstract

The discourse entitled "Jumlah Sampah Pesta Tahun Baru Turun" becomes the center of critical discourse analysis in this study. The formulation of the problem of this research is how to explain critical linguistics, especially language transformation as well as nominalization, and how to analyze the discourse in the discourse "Jumlah Sampah Pesta Tahun Baru Turun " in Kompas media using a critical linguistic scalpel. Based on this formulation, this study aims to explain about Critical Linguistics, especially transformation and nominalization effects, and to describe the results of discourse analysis in the discourse "Jumlah Sampah Pesta Tahun Baru Turun" in Kompas media using a Critical Linguistic scalpel. This study used descriptive qualitative method. The results of the study indicate that the transformation and nominalization effects are thick on the discourse being analyzed. This shows that the use of language in a discourse is able to provide an understanding of different images compared to telling other subjects.

Abstract

The objectives of the study were: 1) to explain the implementation of role playing learning models in learning materials for writing text procedures, and 2) to explain the calculation of the value of pre-test and post-test in the experimental class and control of experimental and control pre-test. This research shows that the implementation of the role playing learning model is carried out in accordance with the Learning Implementation Plan (RPP). The hypothesis of this study is to increase the results of post-test results compared to pre-test in the experimental class, and the acquisition of post-test scores in the experimental group is higher than the control group. The results of statistical calculations show a significance of <0.05, which means that Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted. Both classes experienced an increase in post-test acquisition. However, the experimental class shows more significant results than the control class. The results of the average in the experimental class were 62.16 during pre-test and 75.32 during post-test. Meanwhile, the control class during pre-test was 63.04 and 70.24 at the post-test period. These results indicate that the role playing model is more suitable for use in learning to write procedure texts.

Abstract

The subject of this study is the results of evaluating poetry writing for students who do not reach the indicators of learning success in the curriculum so that the researcher offers a solution that is a recognized learning method that is more effective in improving students' ability to write poetry using the Outdoor study method. The formulation of the problem formulated in this study is about how the results of poetry writing skills using the outdoor study method? This study aims to determine the results of poetry writing skills using the outdoor study method. The method used in this study is the experimental method. The instrument for collecting data in this study uses the initial test sheet and the final test. Based on the results of the research, the students' ability to write poetry texts obtained an average initial test score of 43,0 and after using the outdoor method the study of poetry writing learning obtained an average value of 64,5. So, it can be concluded that the application of the outdoor study method to learning poetry text writing in class X SMAN 1 Katapang is able to improve student learning outcomes.

Abstract

This research is based on the fact that moral values are important, novels as written literary works must also contain moral values so that they can be used as an example, moreover the researchers themselves will be involved in the world of education, so that research on moral values can be taught more or less to students by reading literary works and looking for moral values contained in them. The problem in this study is whether there is a moral value in the novel Laskar Pelangi; then what are the moral values contained in the novel Laskar Pelangi; The purpose of this study was to analyze moral values in the novel Laskar Pelangi and describe the results of moral analysis research in the novel Laskar Pelangi. The method in this study is a descriptive method. The steps of data collection in this study are 1) Intensive reading of the novel entitled the irregulars of the rainbow 2) Recording quotes that contain moral values and analyze them. Based on the results of the study, it can be seen that there are so many moral values that the author wants to convey, including researchers finding religious or religious moral values and researchers find finding moral values related to society or social.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the difficulty of students in analyzing anecdotal text structures. This happens because students lack an understanding of the explanation of learning material caused by students' lack of focus when listening and lacking interest in reading. The formulation of the problem from this study is, is there a difference in the results of the posttest of learning analyzing the anecdotal text structure between the experimental classes applied by the STAD model and the control class that is applied to the discovery learning model? The purpose of this study was to find out the differences in students' abilities in analyzing anecdotal text structures using the STAD model with those using discovery learning models. This study used a quasi-experimental research method with a posttest-only control design research design. The research sample is one class as the experimental class and the other class as the control class. The research instrument used was the test sheet. The results showed that there were significant differences between the two classes. The average value in the control class is 53.0 with the smallest value of 20 and the highest value of 100. While the experimental class obtained the average value of 79.4 with the smallest value 0 and the highest value of 100. The results of the normality test using SPSS shows that the significance of 0.423. The results show that the data is homogeneous because the significance value is> 0.05, which is 0.436. The results of the T-test obtained a value of 0,000 <0.05. These results indicate that there are significant differences between the two samples.
