Abstract

AbstractSoccer is often facing many various kind of situation and environmental factors, that can affects the performance of soccer players. This environmental factors can be influencing, one of them is altitude factor that can have impact to the physiology of soccer players mark by declining technical performance. This can be happen both competitive or non competitive match of soccer, researchs show a report reduction total distance cover by players (2.6-57%) when play at high intensity that can lead to hypoxia, a condition of lack oxygen at players’s body. When exercise at this circumstances, observation report greater pertubation of metabolism, plus reduction of running capacity.Fact show the different that activity with high speed and accelaration when play at 1600 m and 3600 above sea level report decrease (9-25%). And it also show the multiple effect beside decrease at speed, due to decline of partial oxygen, it also affect negative to metabolism system, because of reduction of adenosine triphosphate (ATP) at higher altitude and another system as well that lead to decrement in performance. In this review article explain altitude by collecting up to date paper information of altitude sport science and important data inside, it also inform us to know the impact factor that altitude provide to the players. That can change the way of the game and the match outcome.

Abstract

Soccer is a sport play-able in various condition of environment, and one factor that affects this game is in heat situation, that can be one of key factor that change the match outcome. For the example is the big possibility that visiting team outside Arab countries gone to played at Gulf Region decreased winning possibility 3% for a increased 1°C temperature compared to the home team that easier to win under this circumstances. The home team had already aclimatized with the environment condition and often played in the heat temperature.Played soccer in the heat could increased sweat rate and peripheral vasodilation as a result to released the extra heat from the body, which affected dehidration phase and more metabolism to make more energy. In the elite level, pressure from the enviromental factors attracted the attention of both practitioners and the policy’s holders. In the Uni European Zone, match was usually played in the heat (example: at Madrid, Spain, at 30 degree of celcius). Temperature that exceeds 30 degree of celcius (maximum at 35 degree) for the example at the previous world cup 2014 Brazil could made the players got stressed because of the heat and got problems, one of them is decreased 3% of passing accuracy.

Abstract

Soccer is the most well known and a phenomenal sport in the world, with around 270 million players registered to this game. Soccer has already attracted attention either sport scientist and government from many countries to promote the benefit of active physical activity and also maintained people’s health, including the minorities and poorest.. Furthermore, this sport can be used to support the health public program in order to prevent chronic diseases due to cause lack of physical activity.Quality food choices and adequate nutrition nutrient are important for supporting training program and enhancing the physical performance of professional athletes. Macronutrients provide the metabolic substrates necessary for producing the chemical energy required for skeletal muscle contraction and cardiovascular physiology, while the micronutrients help the metabolic reactions involved in energy production and gas transport in the circulation. Soccer is a sport requiring for both aerobic dominant and also anaerobic energy. It needs the players to exercise repetitively at high intensities using large muscle groups for periods of several seconds to several minutes for the full match (90 min) plus added time. Metabolically, athletes depend to a certain extent on their endogenous glycogen stores in the liver and skeletal muscles. Besides from genetic factor, talent and the effort of training, it has been acknowledged that no single factor plays a bigger role in maximaxing physical performance than dietary plan. This Review article was made to show the important role of carbohydrate and dietary fiber in the aspect of soccer game, resumed from scientific articles especially from Europe/USA where soccer was more advanced there. The writer hoped that this article written and published at Indonesia can be used to developed sport science and sport medicine for his beloved country.

Abstract

BIOLOGY LEARNING BY DOING MULTIPLE CHOICE QUESTION FOR SENIOR HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS. Multiple choice question learning and understanding can help learning process in the classroom. To maximize its use as learning tool, the students can have finish the task in 2 ways: first they will finish the Multiple-Choice Question (MCQ) task during the class hours and submit it when the class over. Or it can be homework to the students and hand it over at the next meeting session. The research showed that the instructor/teacher prefer on use multiple choice not only due to administration, time saving and simplicity but also objective and consistent. Furthermore, the student based on research result more like Multiple choice question assignments because they can eliminate wrong answers and these questions form more objective than anothers. Beside that with this method the student can participate actively in learning process.

Abstract

Soccer is a sport-game that needs intermittent cognitive ability, the requirement is for making quick and accurate decision under dinamic environment in the soccer pitch. This endurance needs make soccer a sport that mentally fatigue, which the impact to decrement in performance to to combination of physical fatigue and mental. Previous study showed us that mental fatigue influenced physical capacity and technical performance of soccer players, this made more experienced soccer players was more accurate to take decision than the non experienced one.Mental Fatigue in fact can reduce ability of technical areas a player, one of them is passing accuracy. The Loughborough Soccer Passing Test (LSPT) can be used to measured technical aspect of soccer players that influenced by mental fatigue, compared between control group and mental fatigue group. And the result showed the penalty time done by longer time than control group. Then, the mental fatigue is also influenced the physical capability of a player. The measurement can be done by Yo-yo IR1 test. The publication that used this protocol measurement showed us that energy expenditure and distance that can be covered by players decreased in subject during mental fatigue. This made a hypotesis one that mental fatigue also impact on physical performance of a player.
