Abstract

Penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuasieksperimen, yang dilatarbelakangi oleh hasil belajar kimia siswa yang rendah. Untuk itu peneliti menerapkan strategi pembelajaran FIRE-UP. Strategi pembelajaran FIRE-UP ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah terjadi peningkatan hasil belajar kimia siswa pada pokok bahasan larutan asam dan basa kelas XI IPA SMA Muhammadiyah 1 Pekanbaru. Desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah pretest-posttest control group design. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan teknik simple random sampling. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah kelas XI IPA 3 sebagai kelas eksperimen yang menggunakan strategi pembelajaran FIRE-UP dan kelas XI IPA 4 sebagai kelas kontrol dengan metode ceramah. Teknik pengumpulan datadalam penelitian ini menggunakan tes, dokumentasi, dan observasi. Dalam penelitian ini, pertemuan dilaksanakan sebanyak enam kali, yaitu lima kali pertemuan dengan menggunakan strategi pembelajaran FIRE-UP dan satu pertemuan untuk postes. Untuk melihat peningkatan hasil belajar kimia siswa dilakukan uji t-test. Dari hasil perhitungan diperoleh thitung 5, 40 dan pada taraf signifikan 5% diperoleh ttabel 1,67, maka thitung> ttabel maka Ho ditolak dan Ha diterima. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data tersebut, diambil kesimpulan bahwa terjadi peningkatan hasil belajar siswa pada pokok bahasan larutan asam dan basa dengan penerapan strategi pembelajaran FIRE-UP kelas XI IPA SMA Muhammadiyah 1 Pekanbaru. Dimana peningkatan hasil belajar siswa dengan gain ternormalisasi didapat 0,79 dengan kategori tinggi pada kelas eksperimen, sedangkan pada kelas kontrol didapat gain ternormalisasi sebesar 0,56 pada kategori sedang.

Abstract

This study aims to determine whether there is a relationship student Spiritual Quotient (X) with learning outcomes of chemistry learning strategy subjectsthat integrates with Islamic values (Y). This study used survey method with correlation analysis technique. This study is a populationstudy with total subjects of 29 responden.Data collection techniques by using questionnaires for spiritual variable quotient (X), and the test methods to collect data for variable of learning outcomes chemistry learning strategy that integrates with Islamic values (Y). The research data were analyzed using product moment correlation analysis techniques to test the hypothesis. The hypothesis testing showed that there is a positive correlation between student spiritual quotient with learning outcomes of chemistry learning strategy subjects that integrates with Islamic values, as indicated by the correlation coefficient between Xvariables and Y (rh = 0.77), both with a significance level 5% = 0.374, and a significance level of 1% = 0,478. So the analysis mentioned r0 greater than rt so the hypothesesare accepted and significant. Based on the results of the study, expected to be material information and input for Study Program of Chemical Education and Faculty of Education and Teacher Training, in particular for the Chairman of the Study Program, lecturers and students in order to always improve spiritualquotient potential students.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendesain Lembar Kerja Peserta Didik berbasis Problem Based Learning untuk meningkatkan self efficacy peserta didik pada materi kelarutan dan hasil kali kelarutan yang valid berdasarkan validitas ahli materi, ahli media,  praktikalitas guru dan respon peserta didik. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah Research and Development (R&D) dengan model pengembangan Borg and Gall. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di MA Darul Hikmah Pekanbaru terhadap peserta didik kelas XI sains. LKPD dikatakan layak jika memenuhi aspek valid dan praktis. Kevalidan dilihat dari hasil validasi dengan menggunakan lembar validasi. Berdasarkan analisis data diperoleh hasil validasi ahli materi secara keseluruhan sebesar 94% dengan kriteria sangat valid. Validasi ahli media secara keseluruhan sebesar 98% dengan kategori sangat valid. Uji praktikalitas guru dilakukan pada 3 orang guru dan mendapatkan hasil sebesar 87% dengan kategori sangat praktis. Respon peserta didik didapat dari 15 orang peserta didik dilihat dari hasil angket sebesar 81% dengan kategori sangat praktis. Peningkatan self efficacy peserta didik dapat diketahui melalui perhitungan N-gain berdasarkan hasil pretest dan posttest. Rata-rata N-gain yang diperoleh yaitu 0,1378 dengan kategori rendah. Selain itu Peningkatan self efficacy peserta didik dapat dilihat dari angket yaitu hasil perhitungan skor menunjukkan 40% peserta didik mempunyai self efficacy yang sangat tinggi, 47% peserta didik pada kriteria tinggi, dan 13% pada kriteria cukup tinggi.

Abstract

This research discusses on the implementation of Learning Cycle 5 Phase model to improve Student’s Performance on Compound Names and Reaction Equation in the Class X MA Darul Hikmah Pekanbaru.  This research is experimental study with pre-test and post-test. Its samples are 2 classes, namel;y class X.B as experimental class and Class X.AI as controlled class. The preliminary data is homogeneity test as pre-requirement taken from the marks of homogeneity test on chemical bonding. The final data is hypothesis test gotten from the students pre-test and post-test on Compound Names and Reaction Equation. The first and final data are analysed   using t-test. The final analysis is t (calculation) = 2,252 and t (table) = 2,020 and it shows that t (calculation) > t (table) so that H0 is rejected which indicates that there is an improvement on students performance with 10,300%.

Abstract

This research was a quasi-experiment—instigated by the low of students’ chemistry achievement. This research aimed at knowing the effect of using Team Games Tournament (TGT) type of Cooperative Learning Model with Molymod media tomard students’ achievement of X grade at Senior High School of YLPI Pekanbaru. The samples of this research were Random Sampling comprising 2 classes—X1 (Experimental group) and X3 (Control group). There were 4 meetings done. Test, interview, questionnaire, and documentation were the techniques of collecting the data. T-test formula was used to find out the result of students’ achievement. Based on the data analysis, it can be stated that tobserved was 4.14 and ttable 2.00 and it showed that tobserved was higher than ttable. It revealed that Ho was rejected and Ha was accepted. In other words, there was a significant effect of using Team Games Tournament (TGT) type of Cooperative Learning model with Molymod media toward students’ achievement of X grade at Senior High School of YLPI Pekanbaru with coefficient effect 20%. Abstract

Abstract This research was instigated by the low achievement on Atomic Structure material of X grade students at State Agricultural Integrated Vocational High School in the Academic Year of 2015/2016. This research was an experiment. This research aimed at knowing how the effect of using Somatic Auditory Visualization Intellectually (SAVI) learning model with Interactive CD about Atomic Structure toward  students’ Achievements was. The research design was using pretest and posttest. The sample technique of this research was Simple Random Sampling. X ATPH 1 was the experimental group and X ATPH 2 was the control group. The techniques of collecting data were by measuring the homogeneity test as the preliminary data in the previous material (introduction to chemistry), Interview, documentation, observation, pretest and posttest as the final data. The data were analyzed by using T-test formula. The final calculation state that tobserved  2,401 was higher than ttable 2,00 at 5% significant level. It revealed that H0 was rejected and Ha was accepted. The research findings showed that (1) Somatic Auditory Visualization Intellectually (SAVI) Learning Model with Interactive CD about Atomic Structure  Influenced Students’ Achievement, (2) the influence of using Somatic Auditory Visualization Intellectually (SAVI) Learning Model with Interactive CD about Atomic Structure  Influenced Students’ Achievement was 7,7%. Keywords: Cooperative Learning Model, Achievements, Somatic Auditory Visualization Intellectually (SAVI), Interactive CD, Atomic Structure.

Abstract

AbstractThis research was a Quasi-experiment with pretest and posttest design instigated by student activity and learning achievement that were still on low category.  It aimed at knowing the effect of using Quick on the Draw learning model toward student activity and chemistry learning achievement.  The subjects of this research were the tenth grade students of classes 5 (control group) and 6 (experimental group) selected through Simple random sampling technique.  Learning activity data were obtained through observation sheet of student learning activity, and learning achievement data were obtained learning achievement test (posttest).  Then, learning activity data were analyzed by using Descriptive statistical and inferential (nonparametric) analysis techniques.  The data of learning achievement were analyzed by using t test at 5% level.  The research findings revealed that (1) there was an effect of using Quick on the Draw learning model toward student learning activity that Zobserved 4.87 was higher than Ztable 1.96, it meant that Ha was accepted; (2) there was an effect of using Quick on the Draw learning model toward student learning achievement that tobserved 2.63 was higher than ttable 2.00, it meant that Ha was accepted.  It showed that Quick on the Draw learning model positively affected student activity and chemistry learning achievement on Hydrocarbon lesson at the tenth grade of State Senior High School 1 Tambang.Keywords: Quick On The Draw Learning Model, Learning Activity, Learning Achievement, Hydrocarbon.

Abstract

Socioscientific issues in the field of social sciences and science are issues that describe social problems in society and are related to conceptual, procedural, or scientific technological contexts. The purpose of this research is to describe how socioscientific issues are used in science learning. This review is a systematic literature review method. A systematic literature review is a method for evaluating, defining, and interpreting all results related to a research problem in response to specific questions. This literature review was conducted to obtain the publication of scientific articles in 2018-2023 that discuss socioscientific issues in science learning. Based on research results using socioscientific issues in science learning can increase scientific literacy and student learning activities so that they can trigger student discussion and argumentation which in turn increases critical thinking skills.

Abstract

Pada era yang semakin maju, diera society 5.0 mempengaruhi segala aspek kehidupan manusia terutama pada bidang pendidikan di Indonesia. Pada penelitian terdahulu yang mengkaji mengenai society 5.0 pada bidang pendidikan IPA telah ditemukan namun tujuan dari penelitian ini ialah mengetahui perkembangan society 5.0 dalam pendidikan di Indonesia. Pada peneliti sebelumnya memperkuat teori hubungan antar variabel. Dalam penelitian ini, peneliti menggunakan metode literature review dengan data based google scholar, dan akademik lainnya. Hasil dari penelitian ini ialah pendekatan dan materi yang sering digunakan dalam society 5.0 di pembelajaran IPA yang meliputi pendekatan STEAM dengan kegiatan pembelajaran berbasis proyek (Project Based Learning).
