Abstract

School is a place for learning and the educational process should be held election of new students. In the new admissions process will emerge a lot of obstacles in the selection of applicants and entering data into the database. Many schools use manual skills in how to store data. For schools that already have computer equipment still using Microsoft Office Excel and Microsoft Access as the application of new admissions. Submission of information on the number of applicants and selection results are very important and should be accurate. Many new programs are created for new admissions application still stands alone, for it is the author trying to create a program that uses php application which is a programming language based on client and server using a web-service facilities. With the development of systems using the waterfall method, the analysis with data-oriented, its design illustrated in the diagrams DFD (Data Flow Diagram) and implementation using PHP programming language and MySQL database.  Keywords:  systems; filtering; waterfall

Abstract

STMIK Mardira Indonesia is one of the private universities in the city of Bandung. As an educational institution, STMIK Mardira Indonesia has a lot of important data, such as alumni data, student data, lecturer data, and other important data stored in filing cabinets. With the rapid development of information technology and continues to evolve until now. This can be proven by the many innovations and inventions that are simple to very complex. Such as Digital Archives or commonly referred to as E-Archives. Therefore, the design of the E-Archive system is very important because it can be seen from various aspects that can save important data or files.E-Archive System Design Using the Subject Filing System Method at STMIK Mardira Indonesia is a descriptive analysis method while the system development method uses the Object Oriented Analysis and Design (OOAD) method. The software used in making the E-Archive System Design Using the Subject Filing System Method at STMIK Mardira Indonesia is using the CodeIgniter Framework as a programming language and using MySQL as a database.As is E-Archive System Design Using Subject Filing System Method at STMIK Mardira IndonesiaThis can simplify the management of archiving alumni data, and computerized diploma data. Abstract

Observation of SIMAK that in the process of operating the system is still experiencing obstacles such as data leakage which results in impaired agency performance, insufficient security and control to anticipate forms of fraud and illegal actions that result in large losses for information owners and uncontrolled access rights, so that a system the information used must have a guaranteed level of information security, including database security, hardware, software and human resources.Based on observations in SIMAK, the authors conclude to audit SIMAK so that they are documented and obtain audit evidence and evaluate it objectively. From the results of comparisons with other methods, the authors chose the ISO 27001: 2013 SNI standard as a standard for auditing the security of an information system and used as a reference to produce documents (findings and recommendations) which are the results of the SIMAK information system security audit at STMIK Mardira Indonesia.From the results of the study it was identified that the clause used was, Clause 5: Security Policy, the current SIMAK security policy is still not appropriate, Clause 7: Asset Management is still not appropriate to achieve and maintain appropriate protection of organizational assets due to the absence of a policy letter regarding asset management, Clause 9: Access Control so that there is no misuse of access rights and there are procedures for controlling access rights, Clause 15: Compliance has not been adjusted to the applicable academic regulations, and the time has been scheduled on the educational calendar is also the legal aspect of the software used. Keyword : IT services, SNI ISO/IEC 27001: 2013, SIMAK, Audit, Information securityDOI : http://doi.org/10.5281/zenodo.3929072

Abstract

Penulisan karya tulis ini membahas mengenai proses monitoring tanaman strawberry diimplementasikan pada kebun strawberry yang nantinya akan menjadi acuan untuk dapat merancang sebuah alat proses monitoring tanaman strawberry melalui teknologi Internet of Things (IoT). Ada beberapa tools yang digunakan salah satunya Arduino IDE sebagai software pemrograman untuk mengkoneksikan Node MCU Esp 8266, Sensor DHT 22, Sensor Soilmoisture, dan komponen elektronik lainnya. Beberapa tools tersebut diprogram menggunakan Software Eagle sebagai pencetakan papan perangkat keras untuk membentuk sebuah PCB (Printed Circuit Board) atau Papan Rangkaian yang tercetak dan menjadi sebuah perangkat keras yang saling terhubung. Penggunaan Aplikasi Bylink sebagai pengendalian dan monitoring-nya. Secara empiris dan pengakuan beberapa petani di Ciwidey, Kabupaten Bandung, strawberry adalah tanaman yang rentan terhadap perubahan suhu dan iklim. Dengan adanya alat ini harapannya dapat mempermudah petani mengetahui kelembaban tanah, mengetahui tanaman yang belum tersiram dan belum diberi anti hama atau vitamin, dan secara penggunannya dapat meluas baik dalam skala kecil di perkebunan hingga skala besar yang mampu dimanfaatkan di beberapa industri pertanian. Selain itu, sistem ini dapat menjadi teknologi pertanian digital modern yang mampu mengurangi persentase kegagalan hasil panen yang dikarenakan tanaman kurang kandungan air atau terkena hama dan perubahan suhu ekstrim sehingga menanam strawberry terasa lebih mudah dan efisien. Kata Kunci: Aduino IDE, Eagle Software, Bylink App, Internet of Things

Abstract

Kereta Api Indonesia DAOP (Operation Area) II Bandung is one of the operating areas of Indonesian railways, under the environment of PT Kereta Api Indonesia (Persero) which is under the Board of Directors of PT Kereta Api Indonesia led by a Head of Operations Area (Kadaop) who is under and is responsible to the Board of Directors of PT Kereta Api Indonesia. Operational Area II Bandung has three major stations, including Bandung station, Kiaracondong station, and Tasikmalaya station, while the middle class train stations include Padalarang station, Cipeundeuy station, Ciamis station, and Banjar station. The train warehouse is located at Bandung station, while the locomotive depot is not far from Bandung station. In presenting logistics information, it is still not optimal because it still uses manual methods so that in terms of time it is not effective and efficient. To solve this problem, a Web-based monitoring information system was created. The theoretical basis refers to the definition of Information Systems, Scout Movement and web builder applications including Web Browsers, Web Servers and Web editors.With the existence of an information system that supports it is expected that the processing of spare parts data and other reports can be more effective, efficient and timely.Hopefully the system created can be used as the beginning of developing a better system and can help with logistics work, so that the author hopes that employees are open to information systems that can make their work easier which may change in the future.  Keywords : System, information, deposit, daily, web, responsive web

Abstract

The writing of this paper discusses the process of monitoring strawberry plants implemented in strawberry gardens which will later become a reference to be able to design a tool for monitoring strawberry plants through Internet of Things (IoT) technology. There are several tools used, one of which is Arduino IDE as programming software to connect the Esp 8266 MCU Node, DHT 22 Sensor. Soil moisture Sensor, and other electronic components. Some of these tools are programmed using Eagle Software as a hardware board printing to form a PCB (Printed Circuit Board) or printed circuit board and become an interconnected hardware device. The use of the Bylink Application as its control and monitoring. Empirically and according to several farmers in Ciwidey, Bandung Regency, strawberry is a plant that is susceptible to changes in temperature and climate. With this tool, it is hoped that it will make it easier for farmers to determine soil moisture, identify plants that have not been watered and have not been given anti-pests or vitamins, and that their use can be extended both on a small scale in plantations to large scale that is able to take advantage of several agricultural industries. In addition, this system can be a modern digital technology that is able to reduce the percentage of crop failure due to lack of air or exposure to pests and temperature changes so that growing strawberries is easier and more efficient.

Abstract

The fulfillment of the employees' payroll is a crucial task of the firm, ensuring the well-being of its workforce following a complete month of employment. The wage calculation system employed by a raw material distribution company in West Java currently relies on semi-computerized methods, specifically utilizing MS Excel for processing purposes. This approach is considered less efficient and susceptible to inaccuracies in its computations. This study aims to design and implement a system that can aid the organization in reducing computation errors. The author employs a qualitative descriptive methodology in their study. The author employs the OOSE (Object Oriented System Engineering) method as the chosen approach for development, emphasizing use cases. The employee payroll application was designed and implemented using the PHP programming language with the Laravel framework. The MySQL database was utilized for data storage. The anticipated outcome of the investigation into the employee payroll application is poised to provide the organization with improved efficiency and precision in processing employee wage calculations while concurrently mitigating the potential for data loss.

Abstract

There is still space for improvement in the application and usage of technology and information in the sales business, as indicated by the significant percentage of clients who continue to make manual purchases. An example would be the present Sriwijaya Herbal Sin Cigarettes retailer. The Sin Cigarette Herbal Sriwijaya stockist shop employs a traditional sales system where consumers physically visit the shop to make purchases. This research aims to enhance consumer convenience by developing a sales information system for herbal cigarettes, enabling online access to sales. This study employs a descriptive research methodology and a waterfall system development approach. This approach involves sequential steps, including needs analysis, design, code production, testing, and support. Data collection from the users was followed by the design and development stage of the program, employing the PHP programming language for implementation. Subsequently, an evaluation was conducted on the functioning system. The outcome is a sales information system that is anticipated to possess the capability to process data into high-quality information efficiently, seamlessly integrate various components, and serve as a repository for data storage. With the existence of this sales information system for herbal cigarettes, the processing of sales data has been computerized automatically, enabling automated report generation. This study introduces an internet-based sales information system for the Sriwijaya Herbal Cigarette Stockist Shop. It replaces traditional sales procedures, expands market reach, streamlines report generation, provides comprehensive buyer information, and maximizes profitability. The innovation employs the waterfall system development methodology and the PHP programming language to enhance retail operations' effectiveness and efficiency. An inherent constraint of this study is the need for the online-based sales information system to address all challenges the Sriwijaya Herbal Cigarette Stockist Shop faces, including technological infrastructure and user proficiency issues. Reliable internet connectivity is crucial for the system's effectiveness, which may require improvements in certain regions. Additionally, employees and customers may require additional training to use the new systems proficiently, which should be considered in terms of time and resources for this research.

Abstract

Academic management activities are an essential part of the world of education related to the teaching and learning process. Currently, the academic information system at one MTs school in Bandung is still being done manually, such as recording student data, teacher data, subject data, scheduling data, and class data. However, this method is considered less effective because it is prone to damage or loss of data. This study aims to develop a system for data collection in teaching and learning activities. In developing the academic system, the author uses a qualitative descriptive method, in which data collection is carried out through triangulation, data analysis is inductive/qualitative, and research results emphasize meaning rather than generalization, emphasizing use cases. The programming language used to design and implement this academic information system is PHP with SSL, and the database used is MySQL. The results of this research can assist Curriculum officers and teachers in managing student data, teacher data, subject data, scheduling data, and class data more quickly and reduce the risk of data damage or loss.
