Abstract

Penelitian Kehidupan Sosial Budaya Etnis Dayak Iban di Badau, merupakan penelitian kasus etnis Dayak lban di Desa Badau Kecamatan Badau Kabupaten Kapuas Hulu Provinsi Kalimantan Barat, dan bersifat diskriptif kualitatif. Hasil Penelitian menunjukkan : Unsur kebudayaan Etnis Dayak Iban yang kas adalah tinggal di satu rumah panjang (Rumah Betang). Namun, pemukiman ini rawan kebakaran, dan penghuninya satu dengan yang lain tidak ada persaingan sehingga cenderung pasif bahkan terlihat pasrah. Pada umumnya mereka belum dapat memenuhi sejumlah kebutuhan secara layak. Partisipasi dalam pelestarian sumber daya alam, pemeliharaan keamanan, pemeliharaan persatuan dan kesatuan, pemeliharaan ketertiban sosial dan upaya mempertahankan identitas sebagai komunitas, pada umumnya sudah cukup baik.Kata Kunci : Kehidupan Sosial Budaya

Abstract

Indigenous people is local social culture groups, separately and uninvolved in network and services in social, economic, or politic. The separated that mean social culture, there is gapbetween level of social culture in tribes with Indonesian conditions enclosed. The means ofdevelopment are discontinuously to progress for people. “Progress” is useful toward humanityaspect from development, and measured with awareness and capability a part of community have to better life and welfare.Keyword : Indigenous people, empowerment, social welfare.

Abstract

As the floodwaters, which inundated Jakarta early have caused sorrows to many Jakarta,including in Rawa Buaya, Cengkareng, West Jakarta, have give rise to suffering for many people, like spread throughout the street, made unfit daily activities, and also caused damage for things and forced many people to leaved out from their home. Impacts for this situation, especially for poor and the poorest families in rural area. Their home was broken and loss many materials. This research purposed to assessment and identifies the social aid for the survivor’s floodwaters. Based on the problems, the survivors need aid for recovery they life, like home, material, etc. Beside the material, they social need therapy for social-psychology to handle traumatic situation and to raise self confidence and spirit for alive.Key Words : floodwaters, survivors
