Abstract

The problem of this research deals with the development of LKPD writing fantasy story through Project Based Learning. The objectives of the research are to produce LKPD, describe the properness, and examine the effectiveness of “LKPD writing fantasy story through Project Based Learning”. The researcher applied seven of the ten steps in the research according to Borg and Gall. The data collections technique were observations, interview, and questionnaire conducted in three schools. This study shows 3 points the result 1) LKPD in the form of Writing Fantasy Story through PBL was successful”, 2) the properness of the entire LKPD was declared “very good” by the material experts, media experts, and practitioners with a percentage rating 91.25, 90, and 96.75, 3) LKPD effectively improved the ability to write fantasy story with value N-gain of (0,74) in high category, and (0,55), (0,65) in medium category.Permasalahan dalam penelitian ini berkaitan dengan pengembangan LKPD menulis cerita fantasi dengan Project Based Learning. Tujuan penelitian yakni menghasilkan produk LKPD, mendeskripsikan kelayakan, dan menguji efektivitas “LKPD Menulis Cerita Fantasi dengan Project Based Learning”. Metode penelitian menggunakan tujuh dari sepuluh langkah dalam prosedur penelitian pengembangan menurut Borg and Gall. Teknis pengumpulan data dengan observasi, wawancara, dan penyebaran angket di tiga sekolah. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan 1) berhasil dikembangkan “LKPD Menulis Cerita Fantasi dengan Project Based Learning”,  2) kelayakan LKPD secara keseluruhan dinyatakan “sangat baik” oleh ahli materi, ahli media, dan praktisi dengan persentase penilaian 91.25, 90, dan 96.75, 3) LKPD efektif meningkatkan kemampuan menulis cerita fantasi nilai N-gain sebesar (0,74) termasuk kategori tinggi, nilai N-gain (0,55), dan (0,65) termasuk kategori sedang. Kata kunci: cerita fantasi, LKPD,  project based learning
