This study aimed to describe and analyze school based management in SMP N 3 Tanjung Raja. This research used qualitative approaching. Data were collected by interview, documentation and observation. The research information was Principal, Teachers, Administrative Staff, School Committee, deputy head of Curriculum and Students on Junior High School N 3 Tanjung Raja. Data analysis was using interactive methods Miles and Huberman. The result of research obtainedthat the planning was implemented through the objective arrangement. The organizing involved the school and stake holder. Monitoring and evaluation was conducted by holding meetings every month. Supporting and inhibiting factors are school autonomy, leadership, and infrastructure and community participation.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan dan menganalisis implementasi manajemen berbasis sekolah di SMP N 3 Tanjung Raja. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data dengan wawancara, dokumentasi dan observasi. Informan penelitian ini adalah Kepala Sekolah, Guru, Staf Tata Usaha, Komite Sekolah, Wakil kepala Kurikulum dan Siswa dan Siswi SMP N 3 Tanjung Raja. Analisis data menggunakan metode interaktif Miles dan Huberman. Hasil penelitian diperoleh bahwa perencanaan dilaksanakan melalui perumusan tujuan. Pengorganisasian melibatkan kontribusi dari pihak sekolah dan komite sekolah. Pelaksanaan melibatkan semua pihak sekolah dan komite sekolah. Monitoring dan evaluasi dilakukan dengan mengadakan rapat setiap bulan. Faktor pendukung dan penghambat ialah otonomi sekolah, kepemimpinan, sarana prasarana dan partisipasi masyarakat.Kata kunci: Bebasis, manajemen, sekolah
