Abstract

This study aimed to describe students mathematical disposition in Socrates contextual learning. The subjects of this study were students of VII B class of SMP Gajah Mada Bandarlampung in academic year of 2015/2016. The data of this study was descriptive qualitative data about students mathematical disposition which were obtained by observation, interview, and documentation. The indicators of mathematical disposition were confidence, curiousity, flexibility, and determination. The data analysis was done in three stages, which were reducting, displaying and verificating of data. Based on the result of this study, it can be concluded that Socrates contextual learning could show students mathematical disposition.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan disposisi matematis siswa dalam pembelajaran Socrates kontekstual. Subjek penelitian ini adalah kelas VII B SMP Gajah Mada Bandarlampung tahun ajaran 2015/2016. Data penelitian ini merupakan data kualitatif deskriptif mengenai disposisi matematis siswa yang diperoleh melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Indikator disposisi matematis adalah percaya diri, keingintahuan, fleksibel, bertekad kuat. Analisis data dilakukan melalui tiga tahapan, yaitu reduksi, penyajian, dan verifikasi data. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini, diperoleh kesimpulan bahwa pembelajaran Socrates kontekstual dapat memunculkan disposisi matematis siswa.Kata kunci: disposisi matematis, kontekstual, socrates
