Abstract

This study aimed at determining the effect of the emotional intelligence and the use of the school library to the learning achievement of economic. The method used was descriptive verification ex post facto approach. The population in this study was all students of eighth grade of 132 students and the sample in this study were 99 students. The sampling technique was using probability sampling with simple random sampling. The results showed: There is an effect of emotional intelligence of students on learning achievement of economic. There is an effect on the use of the school library of students on learning achievement of economic. There is an effect of emotional intelligence and the use of the school library to the learning achievement of economic.Tujuan penelitian untuk mengetahui pengaruh kecerdasan emosional dan pemanfaatan perpustakaan sekolah terhadap prestasi belajar ekonomi. Metode yang digunakan adalah deskriptif verifikatif dengan pendekatan ex post facto. Populasi dalam penelitian berjumlah 132 siswa dan sampelnya berjumlah 99 siswa. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan probability sampling dengan simple random sampling. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: Ada pengaruh kecerdasan emosional terhadap prestasi belajar ekonomi. Ada pengaruh pemanfaatan perpustakaan sekolah terhadap prestasi belajar ekonomi. Ada pengaruh kecerdasan emosional dan pemanfaatan perpustakaan sekolah terhadap prestasi belajar ekonomi.Kata kunci : kecerdasan emosional, pemanfaatan perpustakaan sekolah, prestasi belajar
