Abstract

Purpose of the research is to increase activity and study result of student mathematic by implement talking stick using cooperative learning model. Type of the research method is class activity research with stage in every cycle is planning, implementation, observing and reflection. Tool use to collect the data is observation page and tes questioner, data analysis technique use to analyze the data is qualitative and quantitative. Research result show that implementation of talking stick in cooperative learning model can increase activity and study result of student mathematic.Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk meningkatkan aktivitas dan hasil belajar matematika siswa dengan menerapkan talking stick dalam model cooperative learning. Jenis metode penelitian adalah penelitian tindakan kelas dengan tahapan setiap siklus, yaitu perencanaan, pelaksanaan, pengamatan dan refleksi. Alat pengumpul data berupa lembar observasi dan soal tes. Teknik analisis data menngunakan analisis kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan talking stick dalam model cooperative learning dapat meningkatkan aktivitas dan hasil belajar matematika siswa.Kata kunci: talking stick, model cooperative learning.
