Abstract

This research purposes to improve the activity and student learning outcomes through TPS and PowerPoint media. This research method is classroom action research.The experiment was conducted in three cycles, each cycle consists of two meetings, which consist of the planning stages, implementation, observation, and reflection. The research data collection tool is in the form of observation activity sheets and teacher performance and student achievement test . Data analysis techniques used are qualitative and quantitative data analysis. Learning through TPS and PowerPoint media shows an increase in the activity of student learning. Seen from the average student activity cycle I category average of 56.42 is quite active, cycle II 62.49 average active category and cycle III 78.07 average active category. Mastery of student learning outcomes 17.86% in the first cycle, second cycle and third cycle 60.71% 78.57%, the research hypothesis is accepted as well as an increase of cycle I, II and III significantly.Tujuan penelitian ini untuk meningkatkan aktivitas dan hasil belajar siswa melalui TPS dan media PowerPoint. Metode penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas. Penelitian dilaksanakan dalam tiga siklus, tiap siklusnya terdiri dua pertemuan, yang terdiri dari tahapan perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi, dan refleksi. Alat pengumpul data penelitian ini berupa lembar observasi aktivitas siswa dan kinerja guru serta tes hasil belajar. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah teknik analisis data kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Pembelajaran melalui model TPS dan media PowerPoint menunjukkan peningkatan terhadap aktivitas belajar siswa. Terlihat dari rata-rata aktivitas siswa siklus I rata-rata 56,42 kategori cukup aktif, siklus II rata-rata 62,49 kategori aktif dan siklus III rata-rata 78,07 kategori aktif. Ketuntasan hasil belajar siswa pada siklus I 17,86%, siklus II 60,71% dan siklus III 78,57%, maka hipotesis penelitian ini diterima serta adanya peningkatan dari siklus I, II dan III secara signifikan. Kata kunci: aktivitas, hasil belajar, media powerpoint, tps.
