Abstract

Mathematics learning in 1V A class of Elementary School 1 of East Metro was not optimal, the activity and result of students learning were optimal. The aims of this research were to improve the activity and study result by implementing cooperative learning models numbered head together type. Type of this research was classroom action research that consisted of planning, implementing, observing, and reflecting. The instrument of research data collection used observation sheet and question test. The technique of data analysis used qualitative and quantitative. The result of research showed that the implementation of cooperative learning models numbered head together type able toincrease the activity and study result of student. The value of student activity cycle 1 was 75,55 and in cycle 2 increased to 77,11 , the increasing was 1,57, and the value of learning outcomesin cycle1 78 increased on cycle 2 80,4 the increasing was 2,4.Pembelajaran matematika di kelas 1VA SD Negeri 1 Metro Timur belum optimal, aktivitas dan hasil belajar siswa masih rendahTujuan penelitian adalah untuk meningkatkan aktivitas dan hasil belajar dengan menerapkan model cooperative learning tipe numbered head together dengan menggunakan media realia. Jenis penelitian adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) dengan tahapan setiap siklus, yaitu perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi, dan refleksi. Alat pengumpul data menggunakan lembar observasi dan soal tes. Teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan model cooperative learning tipe numbered head togeher dengan menggunakan media realiadapat meningkatkan aktivitas dan hasil belajar siswa. Nilai aktivitas siswa siklus 1 75,55 dan pada siklus 2 meningkat 77,11, peningkatan 1,57, dan nilai hasil belajar siklus 1 78 meningkat pada, siklus 2 yaitu sebesar 80,4 dengan peningkatan 2,4.Kata kunci: aktivitas belajar, hasil belajar, numbered head together
