Abstract

The problems of this research were the result of mathematic learning wich was not optimal and the effect of positive reinforcement wich have not known yet on students learning result. The purpose of this research was to determine whether there was an effect of the positive reinforcement application on the result of mathematics learning in grade V SDN I Labuhan Ratu academic year 2014/2015. The population in this research were all students of class V. This research sample were class VA as a control class and class VB as an experimental class selected with probability sampling techniques. This research method was quasi-experimental design with pretest-posttest control group design. The technique of collecting data used instruments tests on fraction multiplication and division. Analysis of research used the Independent Sample Test technique. The research conclusion showed that positive reinforcement influence the results of students' mathematics learning.Masalah penelitian ini adalah hasil belajar matematika yang kurang optimal dan belum diketahuinya pengaruh positive reinforcement terhadap hasil belajar siswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah terdapat pengaruh penerapan positive reinforcement terhadap hasil belajar matematika pada siswa kelas V SD Negeri I Labuhan Ratu tahun pelajaran 2014/2015. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas V. Sampel penelitian ini yaitu kelas VA sebagai kelas kontrol dan kelas VB sebagai kelas eksperimen yang dipilih dengan teknik probability sampling. Metode penelitian ini yaitu kuasi eksperimen dengan desain Pretest-Posttest Control Group Design. Teknik pengumpulan data berupa instrumen tes pada materi perkalian dan pembagian pada pecahan. Analisis penelitian menggunakan teknik Independent Sample Tes. Kesimpulan penelitian menunjukkan bahwa positive reinforcement mempengaruhi hasil belajar matematika siswa.Kata kunci: hasil belajar, matematika, positive reinforcement.

Abstract

Education in general with national education has the same function and purpose in shaping good character / personality for students. This shows how serious the government is in realizing character education in this beloved country. Building character is not an instant job and by one institution alone. A person's character is formed as the cumulative impact of lessons learned from the journey of learning and working throughout one's life involving various institutions, both formal, informal, and non-formal education where a person finds himself from infancy to adulthood through proper education (Joni, 2008). In the world of education, the principal plays an important role in shaping the character of students. Because decisions will be made based on orders from the principal. This research uses the library research method because it makes it easier for us to get information, and this information can be obtained from scientific books, research reports, scientific essays, theses and dissertations, regulations, provisions, yearbooks, encyclopedias and other sources. other written and electronic sources.

Abstract
