Abstract

The purpose of this study was to find out the significant relationship of questioning skills and to provide the reinforcement skills with the mathematics learning outcomes of high-class students of 11 Metro Pusat Elementary School. This is quantitative research and the method used is ex-postfacto correlation. The population was 189 students and the 68 students as sample was taken based on the proportionate stratified random sampling technique. The technique of collecting data used a questionnaire (questionnaire). The instrument of data collection is a questionnaire with a Likert scale which was tested for validity and reliability. Data analysis techniques used product moment correlation and multiple correlation correlation coefficient value r = 0.458 at the level of "strong enough". The result showed there was a positive and significant relationship between the relationship of question skills and skills to provide reinforcement with the results of mathematics learning in high-class students of 11 Metro Pusat Elementary School.Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui hubungan yang signifikan pada keterampilan bertanya dan keterampilan memberi penguatan dengan hasil belajar matematika siswa kelas tinggi SD Negeri 11 Metro Pusat. Jenis penelitian kuantitatif dan metode yang digunakan adalah ex-postfacto korelasi. Populasi berjumlah 189 siswa dan sampel sebanyak 68 siswa diambil berdasarkan teknik proporsionate stratified random sampling. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner (angket). Instrumen pengumpul data berupa angket dengan skala Likert yang diuji validitas dan reliabilitas. Teknik analisis data menggunakan korelasi product moment dan multiple correlation nilai koefisien korelasi r = 0,458 berapa pada taraf “cukup kuat”. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan terdapat hubungan yang positif dan signifikan antara hubungan keterampilan bertanya dan keterampilan memberi penguatan dengan hasil belajar matematika siswa kelas tinggi SD Negeri 11 Metro Pusat.Kata kunci: keterampilan bertanya, penguatan, hasil belajar.
