Abstract

The process of booking a place at Café Tahu who still uses a simple method that is often inhibits the activity on the site. Resulting in an error on information received either from the Café Tahu or from the consumer. While the design of the developed system aims to provide convenience and data processing services for consumers as well as the management.From the analysis shows that the use of information systems place a web-based reservation is very helpful for the Café Tahu, and also for the customer itself in the reservation process easier place to place reservations. With applications that can be widely accessed, then this place reservation system will provide better service that is provided by Café Tahu against the customer. Key words: The Reservation Information Systems

Abstract

Design user interface and data entry procedure STMIK Digital Library Information Systems PPKIA Pradnya Paramita Malang is still not meet the rule of making a good design so that the user interface and data entry procedure can not execute their respective functions resulting digital library is not able to function as sources of information and the science as well as journals or publications of scientific articles in digital format. The theory of "The Essential of Design" Kendall is a theory that contains the rules and principles in making a web design, including the user interface design which includes layout rules, standards and consistency of operation, limits the choice menu, using natural language and include guidelines on dialog design and data entry procedure which includes about coding or command on the button or link that is able to effectively bring users to the desired condition.Key words: Kendall, "The Essential of Design", the data entry procedure, user interface, web design, digital libraries

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis tentang desain interface dan yang berkaitan dengan prinsip desain web yang benar dan baik. Penlitian ini mengkaji hasil dari implementasi yang telah ada pada tampilan desain antar muka pada website pradnya.ac.id. Di dalam website ini telah menggunakan bahasa pemrograman PHP, dengan sistem basis datanya menggunakan MySql yang berfungsi untuk memanipulasi datanya. Fasilitas yang ada pada website tersebut sebenarnya telah tersedia dengan baik, serta kontennya sedikit banyak telah tersedia akan tetapi belum terakomodasi dengan baik dan benar, hal ini berakibat pada kurangnya pengunjung untuk singgah pada website tersebut.Hasil analisis penelitian ini adalah web pradnya.ac.id ini masih jauh dapat dikatakan sempurna, dan diharapkan bagi pengelola website lebih aktif lagi dalam mengelola web ini, serta hasil dari penelitian ini menjadi masukan dan menjadi bahan pertimbangan.  Kata Kunci : Website, PHP, MySql, Usability Visualization, Functionality dan Accessibility
