Abstract

Understanding quranic munasabah (co-relation) is very urgent in interpreting the verse of al-Qur’an. It’s because al-Qur’an has integrated meaning and text that have to be analyzed based on asbab al-nuzul, interrelation between ayat and surah. Munasabah al-Qur’an as study was firstly introduced by Imam Abu Bakar al-Naisabury but his effort was not seriously paid attention by the experts. But in next era there were ulamas who wrote munāsabah. The kinds of munāsabah are as follow: munāsabah between surah and previous surah, surah and its goal, relation between verse and previous verse, relation between sentence and centence in one verse, and relation between the closer of verse and its contents.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze and also describe about the transformation of local culture towards Islamic culture at Bone Kingdom on 17th century. In cultural study, one of the most interesting objects to be known is to explore the form of culture when the integration process has been done. The study will be focused on Islamic culture, when Islam emerged at South Celebes on 13th until 17th century by our ulemas (Datu ri Bandang, Datu Patimang, and Datu ri Tiro), particularly at Bone region. On 17th century, Bone’s ruler gave some penetration to tackle Islam, spreading to their region (Bone still as an independent Kingdom). After musu assellenggeng or Islamic war, Bone’s ruler had accepted Islam as their religion.

Abstract

The islamization in Tunisia applied Maliki School, a sect that has existed in 8 century. Anyhow, most of ulama also adhered Asy’ariyah theology and eternalize religious tradition such Maulid ceremony, reciting sufistic rite. However, the Islamic progress in this country decreased following the political waves happening in Tunisia, notebly in Franch colony. Along the Franch protectoral, there had been two religious movement namely, traditional and modern.

Abstract

Islam came and berkembangan in Southeast Asia has a process with a wide range of channels in its spread, such as through trade channels, channel marriage, Sufism channels, educational channels, line art and political channels, but Islam is a religion that inspired the Alqurani so easy diterimah by community local. Overall the history of Muslims in Southeast Asia has led to struggle once articulation and assimilation with the local culture, so as to produce a new culture that is dynamic and unique, a liberal civilization of Southeast Asia. With the acceptance of Islam in peace then, as well as the development of Islamic civilization in its various aspects Therefore, Southeast Asia is a struggle field, as well as acculturation and assimilation of local culture, as well as among local cultural sesame. Therefore in Asia Tenggaralah live and develop various religious systems.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to observe the new perspective in spreading Islam in Bone Kingdom on 17th century. There are a lot of discourses in historian’s arguments about when Islam firstly appeared in Nusantara, especially in South Celebes. Based on a fact, Islam was brought by clerics from Minangkabau i.e. Datu ri Bandang, Datu Patimang dan Datu Itiro. In spite of the fact was talking about islamization process in South Celebes which was brought by clerics, we will found that Bone Kingdom had a different condition. Bone in fact, had accepted Islam after joined in a war, named Musu Asselleng (The war of Islamization). The result of that war, Bone had accepted Islam after defeated by Gowa Kingdom in 1611.
