Abstract

The aims objectives of the study are 1) to examine the extent to which the policy of North Sumatra State Islamic University Medan towards left-handedness, 2) to prepare strategic policies in order to fulfill left-handed facilities and infrastructure, and 3) to facilitate left-handed students in conducting lecture activities in the classroom. The research method uses qualitative research methods with a phenomenological approach, which is an approach or search to explore and understand a central phenomenon. This research was conducted on campuses I, II, III and IV UIN North Sumatra Medan. The number of participants in this study were 30 people consisting of 9 lecturers, 3 educators and 18 students. This research was conducted from May – July 2021. Based on the results of the research that has been carried out, 3 important themes were obtained that reflect the condition of the facilities that do not pay attention to left-handed individuals, namely 1) Consideration of left-handed friendly facilities, 2) Campus facilities are not left-handed friendly, and 3) Barriers arising related to facilities that are not left-handed friendly. With this research, the rectorate can use the results of this research as a reference source in making left-handed-friendly planning as early as possible, both in the form of procurement of lecture facilities and when collecting student data based on the website.

Abstract

 ABSTRACTThis research aims to describe the Implementation of School Principal Communication Form in Improving Teacher Performance at SDIT Bina Insan Batang Kuis District. The purpose of this research is to reveal: (1) To describe the function of the Principal in communicating the vision, mission and goals of the school at SDIT Bina Insan Batang Kuis. (2) To describe the performance of teachers in SDIT Bina Insan Batang Kuis. (3) To describe the form of School Principal Communication Form in Improving Teacher Performance at SDIT Bina Insan Batang Kuis.The reasearch uses qualitative research, with a phenomenological approach, research data collection is obtained by interviewing, documenting and observing techniques. To check the validity of the data using tringulation techniques, namely with credibility, transferability, dependability and confirmability. The step of analyzing data using Milles and Hubberman's model of data analysis is to reduce data, present data and then conclude.            There are three findings in this reasearch, namely: (1) The Principal's function in communicating the vision and mission and goals of the school at SDIT Bina Insan Batang Kuis using seven functions of the Principal, namely: Principal as educator, Principal as manager, Principal as administrator , Principal as supervisor, Principal as leader, Principal as innovator and Principal as motivator. (2) The performance of teachers at SDIT Bina Insan Batang Kuis has a high level of discipline, responsibility and initiative, and the teachers at SDIT Bina Insan Batang Kuis have the role of the teacher as: facilitator, administrator, demostrator, counselor, motivator, moderator and evaluator. (3) Forms of communication for school principals in improving teacher performance at SDIT Bina Insan Batang Kuis use both forms of communication, namely: verbal communication in which the principal uses polite, weak, strict and structured speech, the principal also uses non-verbal communication.

Abstract

School library management is basically the process of optimizing human, material and budget contributions to achieve library goals. The organizational structure of the national library published through the National Library Regulation of the Republic of Indonesia Number 4 of 2020 concerning the Organization and Work Procedures of the National Library. Article 5 explains in general that the national library consists of the Head, Main Secretariat, Deputy for the Development of Library Materials and Information Services; Deputy for Library Resources Development; Data and information Center; Librarian Development Center, Education and Training Center, Inspectorate, Bung Karno Proclaimer Library Technical Implementation Unit; and the Proclaimer Bung Hatta Library Technical Implementation Unit. Information technology in school libraries is technology used to create, store, change and use information in all its forms for the purposes of school library management and services. Each library must make a budget plan and submit it to its parent institution, or other institution that is obliged to provide a budget to the librar School library management is the process of influencing all personnel who support the implementation of school library operations in order to achieve the goals of organizing libraries in schools.
