Abstract

The aim of this research is to develop and test UPC code 128C image reader built based on LTS Algorithm (Linear scanning, Thresholding, Scaling) invented by Eddy Maryanto in 2010. Software that is used to implement the barcode reader is Borland Delphi 6. Two hundred barcode images is used in testing process. The result of the testing process shows that the system has high enough reading accuracy level i.e about 66% and has ability to read rotated barcode image with high enough accuration. The system has reading rate of 4,69 second per barcode image with threshold multiplier range value of 1,00-1,50.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to investigate the effect of vertical scale value of fractal interpolation to the quality of magnified image resulted. In this research, three groups of rgb image are used, they are of bird, tree, and batik images. The results of the research show that vertical scale value of zero gives the best quality magnified image. The farther the vertical scale value from zero, the worse the quality of the magnified image

Abstract

ABSTRAKBasis data terdistribusi merupakan salah satu subjek penelitian yang menarik banyak minat peneliti. Basis data terdistribusi memiliki beberapa kelebihan antara lain reliabilitas dan availabilitas data. Masih banyak masalah yang berkaitan dengan basis data teristribusi yang dapat diteliti dan diselesaikan Pada penelitian ini dilakukan desain dan implementasi query data extractor. Query data extractor merupakan subsistem penting dari sebuah sistem basis data terdistribusi.  Subsistem ini mengekstrak query yang diisu oleh aplikasi dari sebuah node untuk menghasilkan data yang diperlukan untuk pengambilan keputusan yang optimal pada proses fragmentasi dan alokasi.Kata kunci: basis data terdistribusi, query data extractor, fragmentasi, alokasi
