Abstract

Abstrak. Penyebaran globalisasi tentu berbeda dari segi intensitas dan cakupannya. Proses tersebut telah menyentuh hampir seluruh sendi kehidupan melainkan juga telah memasuki ketataran systems, processes, actors, dan events. biaya sosial dan politik yang terjadi akibat terbukanya pasar barang dan pasar finansial menjadi tantangan bagi negara-negara berkembang. Liberalisme sangat memperlemah posisi pekerja dan serikat pekerja. Di lain pihak, tenaga kerja tidak terampil (unskilled labor) tidak bebas berpindah ke negara-negara yang tingkat upah rata-ratanya lebih tinggi. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa liberalisasi yang terjadi lebih bersifat kearah yang merugikan kepentingan negara-negara berkembang. Abstract. The spread of globalization is absolutely different in terms of the intensity and the scope. The process has affected not only the all aspects of life but also the sphere systems, processes, actors, and other great events. In addition, the social and political costs of the open society for goods and financial markets are the other challenge for the developing countries. The liberalization weakens increasingly the position of workers and the trade unions. On the other hand, unskilled labours are not free to move to countries that the average wage level is higher. To short, liberalization is detrimental to the interests of developing countries.
