Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas penggunaan pembelajaran daring melalui aplikasi WhatsApp dengan bantuan video dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar matematika siswa Kelas VIII SMP Negeri 12 Kendari. Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian eksperimen dengan desain One-Group Pretest-Posttest Design. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa Kelas VIII SMP Negeri 12 Kendari tahun pelajaran 2020/2021 yang terdistribusi dalam 9 kelas. Sampel penelitian ditentukan secara Cluster Random Sampling. Data dikumpulkan melalui Teknik non tes berupa lembar observasi dan teknik non-tes berupa tes hasil belajar matematika berbentuk uraian. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) Aktivitas belajar siswa melalui pembelajaran daring di kelas VIII7 SMP Negeri 12 Kendari berkategori baik; (2) Hasil belajar matematika siswa mengalami peningkatan setelah diajar melalui aplikasi WhatsApp dengan bantuan video; (3) Melalui pengujian hipotesis disimpulkan bahwa pembelajaran melalui aplikasi WhatsApp dengan bantuan video efektif dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar matematika siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 12 Kendari

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui gambaran kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa kelas X SMA Negeri 2 Raha. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian deskriptif kuantitatif. Gambaran kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa kelas X MIA3 yang berada pada kategori sangat baik 45%, kategori baik 40%, kategori cukup 15% dan rata-rata nilai tiap indikator yakni 73,75. Gambaran kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa kelas X MIA 4 yang berada pada kategori baik 50%, kategori cukup 40% dan kategori kurang 10% dan rata-rata nilai tiap indikator yakni 59,375. Gambaran kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa kelas X MIA 5 yang berada pada kategori sangat baik 52,38%, kategori baik 38,09%, kategori cukup 9,52% dan rata-rata nilai tiap indikator yakni 76,78. Secara umum gambaran kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa Kelas X SMA Negeri 2 Raha terdapat 32,78% yang berada pada kategori sangat baik, 42,62% yang berada pada kategori baik,  21,31% yang berada pada kategori cukup dan 3,27% yang berada pada kategori kurang. Sehingga kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa berada pada kategori baik

Abstract

Penelitian eksperimen ini menggunakan desain 3x2 faktorial bertujuan mempelajari perbedaan pengaruh faktor interaksi model pembelajaran kooperatif Think-Pair-Share (TPS), Student Team Achivement Divisions (STAD), Pembelajaran Konvensional, dan Penguasaan Bahasa Inggeris sebagai level yaitu siswa dengan nilai atau skor  bahasa Inggeris ≥ 65 (B=1) dan siswa dengan skor <65 (B=2) terhadap hasil belajar matematika. Hasil analisis berdasarkan Statistik Uji-F melalui analisis varian dua jalur dalam menguji hipotesis faktor interaksi secara simultan antara variabel bebas (A, B, dan A*B) mempunyai perbedaan yang signifikan terhadap hasil belajar matematika.Kata kunci: Pembelajaran Think-Pair-Share), Student Team Achivement Divisions,  Penguasaan Bahasa                   Inggeris

Abstract

The initial population of Nilaparvata lugens was obtained from the field and developed in the entomology and toxicology laboratory of the plant protection department of Halu Oleo University. This study began with mass cultivation of the N. lugens insect pest. This was followed by selecting the LC50 concentration based on mortality at 72 hours after treatment. The results of the probit analysis found an LC50 value 3.16 ml/L for the insecticide deltamethrin. The high recommended concentration found for the insecticide deltamethrin is suspected because it is not recommended for use on N. lugens in rice fields. Increasing the frequency of application at sublethal concentrations (LC10 and LC25) was shown to trigger an increase in the resurgence ratio of 1.50 and 1.70 times, respectively, compared to the control group.

Abstract

The stingless bee Tetragonula laeviceps (Hymenoptera; Apidae) is an important pollinator that supports agricultural productivity, yet its population may be affected by pesticide use, including botanical pesticides. This study aimed to evaluate the toxicity of the botanical pesticide Phymar CSL to T. laeviceps, assess the effects of its residues on bee survival, and determine whether Phymar CSL acts as an attractant or repellent. The study was conducted at the Plant Protection Laboratory, Faculty of Agriculture, Halu Oleo University, from November-December 2025. Toxicity tests were carried out using five concentrations of Phymar CSL (5, 10, 20, 40, and 80 mL/L) mixed with a 10% honey solution and analyzed using probit analysis, while residue and preference tests were analyzed descriptively. The results showed that the LC₅₀ value of Phymar CSL for T. laeviceps was 16.194 mL/L, which was lower than the recommended field application dose (20 mL/L). Residue exposure resulted in relatively low bee mortality, even at LC₅₀ and LC₉₅ concentrations. Preference tests using a Y-tube olfactometer indicated that Phymar CSL was not attractive but exhibited repellent properties toward T. laeviceps. These findings suggest that although direct exposure to Phymar CSL may pose toxic risks to T. laeviceps, its residues are relatively safe and do not attract bees; therefore, application should be avoided during flowering stages and peak foraging periods to support pollinator conservation and sustainable agriculture.

Abstract

Nickel mining activities have been identified as a factor in insect biodiversity degradation. This study aimed to evaluate insect community parameters, including species, diversity, abundance, and evenness, by comparing post-mining and natural land in Amonggedo District, Konawe Regency. Sampling was conducted using sweep net, pitfall trap, and light trap methods. The findings showed a significant decrease in species richness in the post-mining land (4 orders, 6 families, 11 individuals) compared to the control land (6 orders, 11 families, 104 individuals). Although both locations had a moderate diversity index (H’) (1.55 vs. 1.72), the post-mining land recorded a higher evenness index (E) (0.86), indicating a more balanced distribution between families but with a much lower population. Dominance shifted from Ectobiidae in the natural land to Crambidae and Scoliidae in the post-mining area, confirming a transformation in community structure due to the impact of nickel mining.
