Abstract

This library research explores the content of the Quran Surah Al An'am verses 74-79 and Surah Al Baqarah verse 131 about the monotheistic faith of the prophet Ibrahim. Based on the data of historical information and interpretation of Quran from the literature sources that collected through documentation, this study used historical, hermeneutics, and synthetic analysis approaches to uncover the model of personal epistemology from that monotheistic faith. Through descriptive-analytic, descriptive-comparative analyses and interpretation with the pattern of reflective thinking, the result indicates that the psycho-social and spiritual or religiosity conditions created an epistemic climate and encouraged epistemic changes on the prophet Ibrahim. The model of personal epistemology of the prophet Ibrahim accommodate existing models and different from the other models, especially with regard to the involvement of revelation and transcendental awareness factors and psychological qualities such as sincerity, love of truth, courage, and commitment to fight for conviction.

Abstract

Pembacaan kreatif berdasarkan pandangan-dunia Islam terhadap hakikat fitrah manusia dan ilmu pengetahuan dibutuhkan untuk memperkuat dasar-dasar logika pedagogik bagi praksis pendidikan Islam di tengah tantangan zaman saat ini. Penelitian kepustakaan ini bertujuan menelaah secara filosofis karakteristik fitrah manusia dan ilmu pengetahuan, hubungan organik antara keduanya, dan implikasi kependidikan. Penulis melalui analisa deskriptif menggambarkan karakteristik fitrah manusia dan ilmu pengetahuan, dan melalui analisa sintetik menarik benang merah hubungan organik di antara kedua entitas ini. Secara reflektif, penulis kemudian menganalisa implikasi-implikasi kependidikan Islam. Baik fitrah manusia maupun ilmu pengetahuan, keduanya sama-sama diikat oleh nilai-nilai iman dan ketauhidan serta memiliki dimensi eskatologis. Penulis menyimpulkan bahwa hubungan organik antara fitrah manusia dan ilmu pengetahuan itu bersifat implikatif, persyaratan, ketergantungan kreatif, kesatuan, logis (iman dan amal), serta koheren dan konstruktif. Implikasi-implikasi yang dapat diungkap adalah bahwa pendidikan Islam mengembangkan dan memelihara potensi fitrah, berwawasan tauhid, membentuk kesatuan fungsional khalifah-hamba, bersifat progresif, dan merupakan pendidikan profetik.

Abstract

Satuan Pemuda-Pemudi Dirgantara Asri (SAPDA) is a growing youth organization in Perumahan Dirgantara Asri, Jragung, Jogotirto, Berbah, Sleman, Yogyakarta. On the one hand, this organization has a significant contribution and, on the other hand, has organizational effectiveness problems. This community service activity was carried out to provide a solution to the problem and strengthen the existence of the SAPDA organization as a social element that accommodates the actualization of the role of youth and as an essential subject of the regeneration process in Perumahan Dirgantara Asri.Community service here takes the format of organizational development training which consists of three sustainable activities, namely: focus group discussion (FGD), outbound, and training. These activities target every individual member of SAPDA as well as all SAPDA members as a group. Training is oriented towards increasing motivation to organize through FGD activities, and strengthening the capacity of team building through outbound activities. As a reinforcement of the results of the FGD and outbound activities, the activity continued with organizational development training. Overall, three service activities are arranged systematically to be relevant and effective in addressing the problems faced by SAPDA as partner institutions.Three service activities fulfill the principle of sustainability and are oriented towards increasing the effectiveness of the SAPDA organization. The FGD encouraged the emergence of self-awareness about the importance of organizational motivation and participant sensitivity to the condition of the organization. Outbound has an influence on shared awareness about the importance of team building strengths in the organization. While the training provides psychological reinforcement and highlights the main values contained in the previous two activities. Based on the results of this activity, the service provider gave suggestions to SAPDA itself and other service activities oriented to the development of youth organizations.

Abstract

Pengerjaan skripsi mengandung kompleksitas permasalahan psikologis bagi mahasiswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara efikasi diri dengan resiliensi pada mahasiswa yang sedang mengerjakan skripsi. Penelitian kuantitatif ini melibatkan 218 mahasiswa yang sedang mengerjakan skripsi, terdiri dari 58 laki-laki dan 160 perempuan. Pengukuran efikasi menggunakan skala efikasi diri skripsi yang dibuat oleh Sari (2018) berdasarkan teori Bandura (1997), dan resiliensi diukur melalui skala The Connor-Davidson Resilience Scale (CD-RISC) berdasarkan teori Connor dan Davidson (2003). Data yang terkumpul dianalisis dengan teknik uji korelasi Spearman. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan positif yang signifikan antara efikasi diri dengan resiliensi pada mahasiswa yang sedang mengerjakan skripsi. Semakin tinggi efikasi diri yang dimiliki oleh mahasiswa yang sedang mengerjakan skripsi maka semakin tinggi pula resiliensinya, dan sebaliknya. Penting bagi mahasiswa untuk memiliki efikasi diri yang tinggi agar mampu untuk bangkit dan beradaptasi dalam menghadapi kesulitan-kesulitan yang muncul selama mengerjakan skripsi.

Abstract

Employee performance influences company development. Like employees in general, the performance of online shop employees affects the productivity or effectiveness of the business carried out to achieve profits. Technology-based online shops require effective implementation of teleworking. Empirically, this research determines the relationship between the effectiveness of teleworking and the performance of online shop employees. Researchers put forward the hypothesis that there is a positive correlation between the effectiveness of teleworking and the job performance of online shop employees. The respondents for this research consisted of 101 online shop employees in Yogyakarta. Researchers used the Employee Performance Scale (EPS) compiled by Tabouli et al. (2016), and the E-Work Life Scale (EWL) from Grant et al. (2018). Data analysis through Pearson product moment revealed a significant relationship between teleworking effectiveness variables and performance variables (R=0.261 and p=0.008). These results indicate that the higher the effectiveness of teleworking, the higher the performance of online shop employees, and vice versa. The contribution of teleworking effectiveness to employee performance is only 0.068 or 6.8%, of which the remaining 93.2% is other influential variables. Researchers put forward implications and suggestions based on these findings. Highlights: Teleworking's impact: The study reveals a positive correlation between teleworking effectiveness and job performance among online shop employees. Data significance: Analysis indicates a significant relationship between teleworking effectiveness and employee performance. Contribution insight: Teleworking effectiveness contributes 6.8% to employee performance, with other factors playing a substantial role. Abstract

This study is aim to know the relationship between work performance and work satisfaction on special school’s teachers in Samarinda City. The hypothesis of this study is there is a positive correlations between work performance and work satisfaction on special school’s teachers. There are 60 teachers as subjects in this study, those are 16 men and 44 women. This study has used Koopmans’ work performance scale (2014) and Spector’s work safisfaction scale (1985). Result of Spearman correlation test shows that the correlation coefficient obtained by 0.369, with a significance value of 0.002 (p>0.05. There is a positive correlation between job satisfaction and work performance on special school’s teachers. Job satisfaction has an effect of 13.6% on performance seen from the coefficient of determination of (r²) = 0.136. The remaining 86.4% is the influence of other factors. Other findings indicate that by gender there was no difference in job satisfaction and performance between male and female respondents. Similarly, there is no difference in the two variables based on years of service. Other psychological factors for the performance of special school teachers still need to be investigated further.Keyword: work performance, work satisfaction, special school’s teachers
