Abstract

This study aims to: (1) describe the teaching conditions of multicultural-based PPKn implemented by SMA in DIY, (2) produce a feasible model of teaching PPKn based on multi-culture for inculcating tolerance for senior high school students , (3) find out the effectiveness of developed teaching model. This research was research and development adopting the procedural model of Borg Gall. The procedures were divided into four phases, namely: (1) the needs analysis phase (2) the development stage of models and expert judgment (3) testing and refining the model, and (4) dissemination phase. The experiment was conducted at SMA Jetis, SMA 2 Bantul, and SMA 2 Wates. The Subjects were teachers and students of XI class of those SMAs. The data analysis used the descriptive analysis and t-test to determine the effectiveness of the product. The results of the reaseach are as follow. First, the teaching of PPKn in SMA in DIY is still conventional and not yet exploring multicultural values. Second, teaching model of multicultural-based PPKn declared eligible by material experts, instructional experts and assessment of the teachers. And the third, the teaching model developed is effectively used in the teaching and learning. This is indicated by the significant differences in learning outcomes between the experimental and control groups. The effectiveness is proved by using t test that the result is significant (p 0.05), and the mean of experiment group is higher than the mean of the control group.

Abstract

Child labor is the social phenomena that not only exist in Indonesia but also in other developing countries. These children work in several sectors including in the small industrial sector. As a young generation, they also must be able to compete in the work world. Therefore, aspiration achievement is an urgent matter and must be considered by stakeholder. On the other hand, the influence of globalization is increasingly global, especially in the field of communication. Representations from this field include on the mass media. Child labor who lives in the global era is also very familiar with the mass media. The study aimed to reveal the influence of information on radio, television and family environment on aspirations achievement of child labor at the leather industry handicraft center in Wukirsari, Imogiri, Bantul. The population of this study was child workers aged 10-14 years, who worked in the leather industry handicraft centers in Wukirsari, Imogiri, Bantul and were still taking study in school, which had a total of 119 child workers. Questionnaire instruments used to obtain data of all variable. The regression analysis technique used to test the hypothesis. The results of the study showed that there was a significant positive influence on the habit to follow information from the mass media and the family environment on the aspirations of child laborers at the leather industry handicraft center in Wukirsari.

Abstract

Pusat Kegiatan Belajar Masyarakat (PKBM) Pelita Sari mampu memenuhi kebutuhan warga belajar dalam bidang keterampilan. Warga belajar mendapatkan keterampilan yang kompleks hingga dalam memenuhan pendidikan luar sekolah sebagai pelengkap masyarakat. Melalui PKBM hendaknya dapat menciptakan warga belajar untuk mengembangkan keterampilan, serta dapat berpartiisipasi dalam pembangunan dan siap untuk bersaing tengah masyarakat luas. Kenyataannya saat ini terdapat warga belajar yang masih sulit untuk mengembangkan kemampuan yang mereka miliki. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui pengetahuan, mengembangkan dan keterampilan dan hasil pelaksanaan PKBM Pelita Sari Bantul yang dilihat dari, evaluasi reaksi (reaction evaluation), evaluasi belajar (learning evaluation), evaluasi perilaku (behevior evaluation), dan evaluasi hasil (result evaluation).Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui apakah pelaksanaan PKBM sudah tepat, dan untuk mengetahui faktor pendukung dan penghambat dari pelaksanaan program life skills education. Pelaksanaan program menggunakan jenis penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan motode evaluasi model Raise-L, dengan indikator relevan, atmosphere chimate, commitment, sustainability, effevtiveness, learhership, dan didukung dengan penelitian kuantitatif dengan menggunakan tabulasi tunggal. Data diperoleh melalui observasi, wawancara dan dukumentasi. Sunber data penelitian ini adalah alumni warga belajar,. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah data reduction, data display, kesimpulan dan verifikasi. Hasil penelitian ini yaitu : (1) program pendidikan life skills education sebagian kecil belum menyelesaikan lulusan keterampilan dan sebagian besar lulusan dapat mempraktekkan keterampilan yang dimiliki pada dunia kerja/ industri, (2) faktor yang menjadi penghambat dalam pelaksanaan program life skills education yaitu kurangnya tutor yang ahli yang sesuai dengan prinsip-prinsip pembelajaran untuk mendampingi terus menerus dalam pembelajaran, (3) faktor pendukung keinginan yang tinggi dari warga belajar, tutor, motivasi dari pihak PKBM Pelita Sari, kemauan/ minat warga belajar, partisipasi dari keinginan untuk mengembangkan pariwisata warga masyarakat dan mitra kerja pemetintah.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan implementasi atau penerapan disiplin positif anak usia dini oleh pendidik di KB Bintang Mulia Krekah dan hasil dari pengimplementasian disiplin positif. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif. Penelitian ini menggunakan sample purposive. Subjek penelitiannya adalah pendidik dan orang tua di KB Bintang Mulia Krekah dan objek penelitiannya adalah peserta didik yang berjumlah 20 orang. Penelitian ini menggunakan teknik pengambilan data Interview, observasi dan dokumentasi. Tahapan pengujian kredibilitas data menggunakan triangulasi sumber dan triangulasi teknik. Analisis data yang digunakan adalah Miles Huberman dengan tahapan reduksi data, data display dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil Penelitiannya adalah Pengimplementasian Disiplin  Positif dilakukan dengan merencanakan atau menuangkannya dalam RPPH, Pengimplementasian Disiplin Positif dilakukan dengan metode Pembiasaan dan Keteladanan, Pengimplementasian disiplin positif dilakukan dengan menggunakan pendekatan Konstekstual dan saintifik. Bentuk kegiatan berupa kesadaran diri, tanggung jawab dan perilaku prososial Kata Kunci : Implementasi Disiplin Positif, Anak Usia dini dan Pendidik

Abstract

Bantul regency government has mobilized all elements of society to care about the cleanliness of the environment, like through good waste management in several places and including in the tourist attractions. Muntuk Village, Dlingo, Bantul is one of the beautiful tourist destinations that attract many tourists, need to get intense attention about the environment in order to stay clean and beautiful. The objectives of community service are to: (1) motivate Muntuk village community's care about the surrounding environment, (2) provide character education to the community to form conscious behavior of waste, (3) provide non-organic waste management training that implemented on 30 December 2017. Furthermore, cadres have been formed to continue pioneering waste management. And considering the limited time, funds and personnel then to follow up the community service activities will be followed by the cadres with the coordination of research institutions and dedication to the community STKIP Catur Sakti Yogyakarta.
