Abstract

Tari Dadi Ronggeng merupakan sebuah karya tari yang berpijak pada unsur gerak banyumasan. Keindahan Tari Dadi Ronggeng dapat dilihat melalui geraknya. Keindahan gerak tersebut dapat dilihat melalui aspek dasarnya yaitu ruang, waktu, dan tenaga. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui estetika gerak tari yang terdapat pada Karya Tari Dadi Ronggeng Banyumasan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode penelitian kualitatif dengan menggunakan pendekatan deskritif kualitatif, pendekatan etik dan emik dan pendekatan estetis koreografis, dengan menggunakan teknik pengumpulan data wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan menggunakan Teori Adshead, dkk. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian yang telah dilakukan, gerak sebagai media pokok Tari Dadi Ronggeng dapat mencerminkan nilai keindahan. Keindahan gerak terbentuk melalui jalinan pola penggunaan ruang, waktu, dan tenaga yang menghasilkan keindahan yang khas. Penggunaan volume gerak yang cenderung lebar dengan tempo yang bervariasi namun tetap menggunakan intensitas tenaga yang besar memberikan kesan energik, seksi, dan ceria.Kata Kunci: dadi ronggeng, estetika, gerak tari. Dadi Ronggeng is a dance creation that come from the people’s elements by using the basis of the movement of Banyumasan. The beauty of a Tari Dadi Ronggeng can be seen through its movement. The beauty of the movement can be seen through its basic aspects, namely space, time, and energy. The purpose of this study is to determine the aesthetics of dance movements found in the Tari Dadi Ronggeng Banyumasan Dance creation. The research method used is a qualitative research method with a qualititative descriptive approach, ethical and emic approaches, and an aesthetic choreograpic approach using data collection techniques for interviews, observation, and documentation. The Adshead Theory et al is as  data analysis technique. Based on the results of research that has been carried out movement as the main medium of Dadi Ronggeng Dance, it can reflect the value of the beauty of the dance. The beauty of the movement in the Dadi Ronggeng Dance is formed by relating the use space, time, and energy in the dance. The combination of twisting movements, the use of movement volumes that tend to be wide with varying tempo but still using a large intensity of energy gives an energetic, sexy and cheerful.Keywords: dadi ronggeng, aesthetic and dance movement.

Abstract

Mundong Dance is a new dance creation created by Christina Sri Asih Handayani in 2011 in Sukoharjo. She got inspiration from the typical product of the people of the Sukoharjo Regency, namely traditional herbal medicine (jamu). The creation of the mundong dance is because the choreographer hoped that there would be a unique art from Sukoharjo, and it could become an excellent dance for the Sukoharjo Regency. This research used the theory of creation from Alma Hawkins, translated by Sumandiyo Hadi. This study aims to describe the process of creating mundong dance in the Sukoharjo Regency. This study used a choreographic approach with qualitative-descriptive research methods. Data collection techniques used are observation, interviews, and documentation. The data analysis used is data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and conclusions. The results of this study show that the creation process of the mundong dance is obtained from the idea of working. It is because of the absence of dance describing the uniqueness and identity of the Sukoharjo Regency, namely jamu gendong. It is poured in three stages of creation, namely exploration producing movements of ngramu empon-empon, ngedoli jamu, and mundur beksan, improvisation creating a movement of manembah, and composition combining all of the movement findings in the process of exploration and improvisation. The elements of dance choreography in the creating mundong dance consist of movements, music, makeup, fashions, properties, floor patterns, and dancers.
