Abstract

This study aims to analyze the poverty problems of traditional fishermen at Nelayan Village Tungkal Ilir District, Tanjung Jabung Barat Regency. And analyze the condition of coastal settlements of traditional fishing communities at Nelayan Village Tungkal Ilir District, Tanjung Jabung Barat Regency. The poverty that occurs in traditional fishermen at Nelayan Village is caused by 3 (three) most influential factors. There are; 1) quality factor of human resources, 2) economic factor, and 3) institutional factor. The spread pattern of settlements of traditional fishing communities at Nelayan Village takes place naturally, spontaneously and tend to be sporadic. Abstract

This study aims to analyze the development of Indonesia’s export volume of cinnamon to the United States, cinnamon export prices, exchange rates, and domestic cinnamon production. It also aims to analyze the influence of cinnamon export prices, exchange rates, and domestic cinnamon production on Indonesia’s cinnamon exports to the United States from 2000-2017. The data used were obtained from the official website of Statistics Indonesia, United Nations Commodity Trade (COMTRADE), and the Plantation Office. The data analysis method used in this study is descriptive and quantitative methods with multiple linear regression analysis. Based on the multiple linear regression analysis results, it was concluded that simultaneously the prices of exported cinnamon, the exchange rate, and the domestic cinnamon production had a significant effect on the export of Indonesian cinnamon to the United States. Partially, the exchange rate and the production of domestic cinnamon had a significant effect. Still, the price of exported cinnamon did not significantly influence the export of Indonesian cinnamon to the United States.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh GDP Amerika Serikat, nilai tukar Rupiah terhadap Dollar AS, Harga teh internasional, dan konsumsi teh perkapita Amerika Serikat terhadap ekspor teh Indonesia ke Amerika Serikat . Data yang digunakan adalah data sekunder dengan rentang waktu 18 tahun  (2000-2017). Data dianalisis menggunakan model regresi linear berganda. Hasil penelitian memperlihatkan bahwa GDP Amerika Serikat, harga teh internasional, dan konsumsi teh perkapita Amerika Serikat berpengaruh signifikan terhadap ekspor teh Indonesia ke Amerika Serikat. Sedangkan kurs Rupiah terhadap Dollar Amerika Serikat tidak berpengaruh terhadap ekspor teh Indonesia ke Amerika Serikat.
