Abstract

Taros (Araceae) is a group of bulbous plants which are commonly found in Indonesia. Araceae have a high carbohydrate content, so it is potential to be used as a local food source for the community. The purpose of this research was to assess the types and cultivars, cultivation status, and the utilization of Araceae found in the karst area of Pracimantoro District, Wonogiri. The research was held in January to May 2016. Plant sample was taken in six villages, Sumberagung, Gedong, Gebangharjo, Glinggang, Wonodadi and Gambirmanis. The data were analyzed descriptively. The results is, 9 variants of Araceae which belong to 4 species was found in the karst area of Pracimantoro. Cultivation status of Araceae is semi-wild, that is not planted and given specific treatment. The utilization of Araceae in Pracimantoro District generally as food additives, other uses is for medicinal and ornamental plants Key word: Araceae, Local food resources, Karst area, Pracimantoro.

Abstract

This paper  studies  three regression ratio estimators  for  population mean Y of the variable  Y  using information on two auxiliary variables  X  dan  Z  under simple random sampling without replacements.  This discussion is  a review  from the article of Singh  et al.  [Statistics  in Transition  10(1): 85-100].    All estimators are biased. The efficient estimator is  the  one with the  minimum  Mean Square Error (MSE), determined by comparing each type of the estimators.

Abstract

In this article, the concept of f_q-derivation in BE-algebra is given by first defining a mapping φ_q^f, which is a self-map of BE-algebra. Based on this definition, the concept of f_q-derivation in BE-algebra is constructed. The results of this research are the definition of f_q-derivation in BE-algebra and its properties. These properties are constructed from the mapping φ_q^f, regular, fixed set, and kernel of a f_q-derivation in BE-algebra.

Abstract

A Web-Based Employee Recruitment Information System or e-Recruitment can be used as a solution in handling the employee recruitment process in a company. With a web-based employee recruitment information system or e-recruitment, companies can choose the right employees for their company themselves. Apart from that, companies can also process applicant data in a database so that applicant data does not accumulate in the filing cabinet. In this research, the author discusses how to design a web-based employee recruitment information system. The system development methodology used is Human Centered Design. The system was built using the PHP programming language, database server with MySQL. The result to be achieved from this research is that the web-based employee recruitment information system is expected to be able to assist the company's HRD department in the employee recruitment process and make it easier for managers to view employee recruitment reports.
