Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analyze the effect of age, education level, working hours and number of dependents on the income of women workers in poor households in Karangasem District, analyze the effect of age, education level, working hours, number of family dependents and income on contribution women workers in poor households in Karangasem District, and analyze whether age, education level, working hours and number of dependents have an indirect effect on the contribution through income of women workers. The data in this study used primary data which was taken as a sample of 123 female workers. The sampling method used is a non-probability sampling technique with the accidental sampling method uses path analysis techniques. The results showed that age, education level, working hours and number of dependents had a positive and significant effect on the income of female workers and age, education level, number of family dependents had a positive and significant impact on the contribution of female workers through income as an intervening variable while for the outpouring of working hours. positive but not significant effect on the contribution of women workers.

Abstract

The increasing number people living below the poverty line is due to the high disparity between regions. The purpose this study to analyze and determine effect of unemployment rate, economic growth, education level and UMR simultaneously and partially on poverty level in districts/cities of Bali Province and the variables have a dominant influence on the poverty level in Bali Province. This study uses panel data for 2015-2019 period with multiple linear regression analysis techniques, coefficient determination analysis and descriptive statistical analysis. The results of the study show 1) Unemployment rate, economic growth, education level and UMR simultaneously affect the poverty rate in the districts/cities of Bali Province. 2) Unemployment rate partially has positive significant effect on poverty level, economic growth partially has an negative insignificant effect on poverty level, the education level partially has a negative significant effect on poverty level, while UMR partially has a positive significant effect on poverty level in districts/cities Bali province. 3) The most dominant variable on poverty rate is unemployment rate in the districts/cities of Bali Province. Abstract

The industrial sector has a close relationship with production activities, so that building a good industrial situation requires continuous planning and supervision. By paying attention to the determining factors that influence the production process, it will make running an industry easier. The aim of this research is to analyze working capital, labor and technology on the production value of the woven craft industry in Gianyar Regency. This research uses primary data with a quantitative approach obtained from interviews. The population in this study was 65 woven craft industry business units using the entire population as a sample. The sample collection method used was a saturated sample. Data analysis techniques use descriptive statistical analysis, double log regression analysis, Cobb-Douglas production function equation. The results of this research show 1) working capital and labor simultaneously have a significant effect on the production value of the woven craft industry in Gianyar Regency. 2) working capital and labor partially have a positive and significant effect on the production value of the woven craft industry in Gianyar Regency. 3) there is a technological mix of capital and labor on the production value of the woven craft industry in Gianyar Regency. The implication of this research is that the efficiency of production factors plays an important role in an industry, where an industry expects the maximum possible production by spending or using the minimum possible production costs.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to analyze GRDP per capita, PMTB, employment status, and income distribution on community welfare in the District/City of Bali Province. This research uses secondary data with a quantitative approach, this research uses 72 data. Data analysis techniques use descriptive statistical analysis and multiple linear regression analysis. The results of this research show 1) GRDP per capita, PMTB, Employment Status, and Income Distribution simultaneously have a positive and significant effect on Community Welfare in the Regency/City of Bali Province, 2) GRDP Per Capita, PMTB, and Employment Status partially have a positive and significant effect on Community Welfare in the Regency/City of Bali Province, 3) Income Distribution partially has a negative and insignificant effect on Community Welfare in the Regency/City of Bali Province. The results of this research are expected to be able to provide an overview that can be used as consideration for the government so that the resulting policy is able to provide positive impact on the community in the Regency/City of Bali Province. Abstract

East Nusa Tenggara Province is a fairly well-known tourist destination. Tourism is an important sector in regional economic development in East Nusa Tenggara (NTT) Province. NTT's various natural, cultural and special interest tourism potentials are highlighted as attractions for tourists. However, even though this potential is large, there are disparities in development between regions in NTT. Some regions have experienced a significant increase in regional economic contribution, while other regions still need to evaluate economic development strategies. With the increase in the number of hotel rooms and restaurants which are not only a place to stay but also as a driver of development and regional income generation. The aim of this research was to evaluate the influence of several tourism variables such as the number of tourist attractions, number of hotel rooms and number of restaurants on Regional Original Income (PAD) in NTT. This research design uses a quantitative approach in associative form. The data collection method is by non-behavioral observation and the number of observations is 176. The types of data used are qualitative data and quantitative data. The data source used in this research is secondary data. This research uses a panel data analysis method. The research results found that the number of tourist attractions, the number of hotel rooms and the number of restaurants simultaneously had a significant effect on Regional Original Income (PAD) in the Regencies/Cities of NTT Province. The number of tourist attractions partially has a positive and significant effect on Original Regional Income (PAD) in the Regencies/Cities of NTT Province. The number of hotel rooms partially has a positive and significant effect on Regional Original Income (PAD) in the Regencies/Cities of NTT Province. The number of restaurants partially has no effect on Regional Original Income (PAD) in Districts/Cities of NTT Province.

Abstract

Poverty is a situation where individuals or groups of men and women are unable to fulfill their basic rights to develop and maintain a dignified life. This research aims to determine the influence of several factors such as poor culture, number of family members and work skills on the poverty gap in Abang District. This research was carried out in Karangasem Regency, precisely in Abang District, in May 2024 until completion. The method used is observation and interviews. The sample determination method uses non-probability sampling and purportive sampling so that respondents are selected deliberately based on considerations by taking the entire sample of 100 samples. The data obtained was then processed tabulatedly and continued with descriptive analysis tests, moderated regression analysis, classical assumption tests, simultaneous influence (F-test), and partial influence tests (t-test). The research results found that poor culture, number of family members, work skills and perceptions of poverty conditions simultaneously have a significant influence on the poverty gap in Abang District. Poor culture and work skills partially have a positive and significant effect on the poverty gap in Abang District. The number of family members partially has a negative and insignificant effect on the poverty gap in Abang District. Perception of poverty conditions as a moderating variable that strengthens the influence of work skills in Abang District.
