Abstract

Teknologi Informasi dan Komunikasi (TIK) dapat dikembangkan sebagai salah satu sarana dalam proses pembelajaran dan kegiatan administrasi di sekolah. Guru dituntut untuk menguasai teknologi agar proses pembelajaran lebih inovatif sehingga tidak membosankan. Salah satu penggunaan aplikasi dalam TIK dalam membantu guru-guru dalam pekerjaan yang berhubungan dengan data dan angka adalah Microsoft Excel. Dengan mengggunakan Microsoft Excel guru akan mampu mengolah nilai secara otomatis dan cepat. Pada kegiatan pengabdian ini diberikan penyuluhan dan pelatihan mengenai Microsoft Excel yang bersifat praktis dan aplikatif. Praktis karena peserta mempraktekkan semua teori yang diberikan dan aplikatif artinya pelatihan disertai dengan contoh penggunaan Microsoft Excel untuk kegiatan administrasi sekolah yang sering digunakan. Kegiatan pengabdian ini adalah salah satu kegiatan pendalaman materi dan pengembangan TIK untuk guru-guru sekolah dasar di Desa Kintamani Kabupaten Bangli yang merupakan kelanjutan dari kegiatan pengembangan dan pendampingan ketrampilan TIK yang sudah dilaksanakan sejak tahun 2015. Abstract

Along with the advancement of science and technology, all teachers especially primary school teachers areexpected to have the ability in the field of information and communication technology (ICT). So that teacherscan teach using ICT-based learning media. By using multimedia learning model, teachers will be able to doteaching more interactive, fun, and motivate learners to be more active. The goal of this program is toimprove the ability and competence of teachers in Elementary School (SD) Imbas in Kintamani Village areasin creating multimedia-based ICT learning media. In this community service activities, it is given counselingand training about the introduction of the Internet and the development of multimedia-based ICT learningmedia using Microsoft PowerPoint, create teaching materials in PDF format, create teaching materials inimage display (JPEG) and apply teaching materials in activities learning in the class. The purpose of this activity is the participants understand of the importance in using ICT for supporting learning and teachingactivities multimedia-based learning media. Participants also understand of how to create learning materialsin PowerPoints format, create files in the form of .pdf, and generate. JPG files. Teachers will also be trainedon how to enrich multimedia-based learning materials using internet access.

Abstract

Smart garden is a control system application to monitor watering/plant care that utilizesintelligent technology. This study reviews the components used in smart gardens and theapplication of smart gardens in community life. The components commonly used in smartgarden such as BLYNK App, Antares, wireless sensor and actuators networks, SMS Gateway,capacitive soil moisture sensor, temperature sensor, light sensor, Arduino nano, Arduino unoR3, Arduino mega 2560, and Raspberry Pi. Smart garden has been applied in agriculture andfarm with the aim of monitoring plant growth, optimizing harvest activities, developingecotourism and Adiwiyata program.

Abstract

This paper study the performance of Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing (OFDM) system over AWGN and Rayleigh fading channels. OFDM performs multi-carrier transmission where all the subcarriers are orthogonal to each other. The channel coding was applied to improve the OFDM system performance. Reed Solomon (RS) codes was chosen that an efficient channel coding algorithm and has intense error correction ability. Adding the benefits of multicarrier OFDM system and Reed Solomon codes to achieve the expected system performance. The coded OFDM system was modeled over and simulated using Matlab. The bit error rate (BER) and energy bit (Eb) per noise power density (No) was performed during system simulations. QPSK modulation was used to modulate the random bits. From the simulation results It can be seen that BER vs. EB/No parameter for Coded OFDM system lower than uncoded OFDM. This was because RS codes succeed to correcting the error generated along data transmission.
