Abstract

This study aims to analyze the characteristics of student learning styles based on visual, auditory and kinesthetic learning styles as well as the characteristics of learning styles based on the surrounding environment. The research method uses descriptive qualitative. The research sample was using a random technique so that the total sample was 43 students. The instrument of this research is a questionnaire with 3 indicators of visual, auditory and kinesthetic as well as how the role of the surrounding environment in determining student learning styles. Supporting instruments using interview techniques. The data analysis technique used descriptive statistics and qualitative descriptive analysis. Based on the results of the study, it is known that the identification of student characteristics on learning styles is seen from visual learning styles (28%), auditory (31%) and kinesthetic (41%). Characteristics of learning styles in the form of environmental identification based on student interaction are learning alone (23%), studying with others in a calm state (28%) and learning with others by doing something (49%). Identification of the environment based on outdoor learning places is 77% and the percentage of indoor learning is (23%). Based on the identification results, the majority have the habit and desire to learn outside the classroom in developing their competencies, this is in line with the heutagogy learning strategy, namely independent learning, developing their own learning strategies, developing theoretical and practical materials together with people or groups who can work together.

Abstract

MasjidLink is an Android-based application to provide news and information relating to mosques in the Yogyakarta Special Region. Behavioral aspects that influence tamir when using MasjidLink are need to measure, so that can define the level of acceptance. The TAM (Technology Acceptance Model) approach was used in this research to analyze factors of takmir acceptance towards MasjidLink. The measurement of acceptance  towards MasjidLink with TAM is expected to showing the actual perspective of tamir so can  helps the further developing of this applications. Testing research instruments through validity and reliability. All research instruments have a value of more than 0.5 so that it can be declared as valid instruments. TAM variable in this study has an alpha cronbatch value of more than 0.7, so that all of these research variables are said to be reliable. Perceived ease of use has a percentage value 72.68% which states that mosque takmir agrees with the ease of use of the MasjidLink application. Perception of usefulness has a percentage 72.11% which states that the mosque takmir agrees with the usefulness of the MasjidLink application. Acceptance of the application has a percentage value 71.31% which states that the mosque takmir agrees with the acceptance of the MasjidLink application. The results of descriptive statistical analysis on TAM have the smallest percentage of variables, there is the percentage of MosqueLink acceptance with the value is 71.31%. This can be used to enhance the development of MasjidLink by focusing on the acceptance of the MasjidLink application. MasjidLink is an Android-based application to provide news and information relating to mosques in the Special Region of Yogyakarta. Currently, MasjidLink is a new mosque information management application that was launched and started to implemented by several takmir mosques in the Special Region of Yogyakarta. Takmir's acceptance of the MasjidLink application is one of the factors that support the continued use of the application. The measurement of the mosque takmir acceptance on the MasjidLink application is done by the TAM (Technology Acceptance Model) method. This study aims to evaluate the application of MasjidLink application with the TAM method so that the perception of takmir and the factors that influence takmir in using the application can be known. The research method used is a quantitative method, which uses a questionnaire as a tool to collect data on 125 users of the MasjidLink application. The results showed acceptance of mosque takmir on MasjidLink application had a positive influence on 3 TAM variables, namely the perception of user convenience 72.68%, perceived usefulness of 72.11%, and technology acceptance 71.31%. This shows that the application developer can focus on improving the acceptance of the MasjidLink application variable because the variable percentage is smaller than other variables.

Abstract

As a student, it is often necessary to make various kinds of letters for different kinds of needs, such as letters of good behavior, letters of application for permits, certificates of still studying, letters of receiving scholarships and so on. For the sake of convenience and productivity in working by utilizing advanced information technology, UIN Sunan Kalijaga has created a mailing automation information system for students which is a website designed to make it easier for students to make letters for lecture purposes. The activity in making the UIN Sunan Kalijaga letter automation information system is a business process with a series of several business activities that are interrelated with one goal so that business targets are achieved. Therefore, a business process must be planned and designed as well as possible in order to minimize errors that might occur. Business process analysis is an attempt to study a business process in one or several organizations. The purpose of the business process analysis is to analyze and document existing work processes. The automation information system of UIN Sunan Kalijaga uses a development model with the waterfall method which is one of the best solutions because it utilizes information technology as an intermediary to simplify and speed up human work. The results of this study are in the form of system modeling which is presented in Use Case Diagrams, Activity Diagrams, Entity Relationship Diagrams and System Displays used in the information system of letter automation at UIN Sunan Kalijaga.
