Abstract

ABSTRACTThe main purpose of this research is: 1) to describe the effect of the google earth  media to student learning outcomes, 2) to describe the effect of student activeness to student learning outcomes, 3) to describe the interaction effects between  google earth media and student activeness to student learning outcomes. This research was conducted at SDN Lidah Kulon 1 Surabaya with research subjects are students of Fourth Grade Student B as the control class and Fourth Grade Student C as an experimental class of the school year 2015/2016. Type of research is experimental. The data was obtained as follows: (1) there is the effect of the google earth media to student learning outcomes. With the same test two way of anova significance value the effect cognitive ability level of 0.002<0.05, (2) there is a activeness the effect to student learning outcomes. This conclusion is drawn from the results of empirical tests using two way of anova. With the test results show the value of the activity's significant the effect to student learning outcomes of 0,023<0,05, (3) there is no interaction effect of media and activeness to student learning outcomes. This conclusion is drawn based on two way of anova showed significant value interaction effect of media and activeness to student learning outcomes of 0.547> 0.05. Based on the research, it can be concluded that: (1) google earth media have a significant effect to the learning outcomes of students, (2) activeness have a significant effect to the learning outcomes of students, (3) there is no significant effect from the interaction between the media and the activeness to student learning outcomes. Keywords: Google Earth, Activeness, Learning Outcomes. ABSTRAK                                                                                          Tujuan utama penelitian ini adalah: 1) untuk mendeskripsikan pengaruh media google earth terhadap hasil belajar siswa, 2) untuk mendeskripsikan pengaruh keaktifan siswa terhadap hasil belajar siswa, 3) untuk mendeskripsikan pengaruh interaksi antara media google earth dan keaktifan siswa terhadap hasil belajar siswa. Penelitian ini dilakukan di SDN Lidah Kulon 1 Surabaya dengan subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas IV B sebagai kelas kontrol dan IV C sebagai kelas eksperimen tahun pelajaran 2015/2016. Jenis penelitian yang dilakukan adalah penelitian eksperimen. Data hasil penelitian yang diperoleh sebagai berikut:  1) terdapat pengaruh media google earth terhadap hasil belajar siswa. Dengan uji yang sama yakni uji anava dua jalur diperoleh nilai signifikansi pengaruh tingkat kemampuan kognitif sebesar 0,002<0,05, 2) terdapat pengaruh keaktifan terhadap hasil belajar siswa. Kesimpulan ini diambil mengacu pada hasil uji empiris menggunakan anava dua jalur. Dengan hasil uji menunjukan nilai signifikansi pengaruh keaktifan terhadap hasil belajar siswa sebesar 0,023<0,05, 3) tidak terdapat pengaruh interaksi keaktifan dan media terhadap hasil belajar siswa. Kesimpulan ini diambil berdasarkan hasil uji anava dua jalur yang menunjukan nilai signifikansi pengaruh interaksi media dan keaktifan terhadap hasil belajar siswa sebesar 0,547>0,05. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa: 1) media google earth terhadap hasil belajar siswa menunjukan terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan, 2) keaktifan terhadap hasil belajar siswa menunjukan terdapat pengaruh signifikan, 3) interaksi antara media dan keaktifan tidak memiliki pengaruh signifikan terhadap hasil belajar siswa. Kata Kunci : Google Earth, Keaktifan, Hasil Belajar.

Abstract

ABSTRACTThis research aims to find out the improvement of social literacy outcome by using cooperative picture and picture learning model and mind map media for students class 4th  of Coal Chatolic  Elementary School, Western Manggarai Regency. This research was Classroom Action Research by research design of Mc Taggart and Kemmis model which done in four stages that were: planning stage, action, observation, and reflection. In this research students learn about economy activities and kinds of natural resources which are related with economy activities. The method of data collection in this research are learning activity observation method and social study achievement test method. The instrument that used was learning activity observation sheet and multiple choice tests. The result of research shows that 1) on the first cycle students individual activity in amount of 2,68 with percentage 67%. Whereas students group activity in amount of 2,77 with percentage 69,2%. The post test result shows classical mean 67,31 with 65% of students are success. 2) on the second cycle the learning activities are the increased.  Students  individual activity score in amount 3,03 with percentege 76%.  While group activity score is 3,28 with percentage 81,7%. And the post test result shows classical mean 75,64 with 88% students success. Based on these result then can be concluded that by applying cooperative picture and picture learning  and by using mind map, learning process more effective and students can increase their  the ability of social literacy.Keywords: class action research, cooperative picture and picture, mind map, social literacy. ABSTRAK                                                                                          Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peningkatan kemampuan literasi sosial siswa dengan menerapkan model pembelajaran kooperatif picture and picture pada siswa kelas IV SDK Coal, Kabupaten Manggarai Barat. Jenis penelitian ini adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) dengan desain penelitian mengikuti model  Mc  Taggart  dan  Kemmis  yang  dilaksanakan  dalam empat  tahap  yaitu  tahap perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi dan refleksi. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas IV berjumlah 26 orang. Dalam penelitian ini siswa mempelajari materi tentang aktivitas ekonomi dan sumber daya alam yang berhubungan dengan aktivitas ekonomi. Metode pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini adalah metode observasi aktivitas belajar dan metode tes hasil belajar IPS. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah lembar observasi aktivitas belajar dan tes pilihan ganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa 1) pada siklus I tingkat aktivitas siswa secara individual mencapai skor 2,68 dengan persentase keaktifan 67%. Hasil post tes mencapai rata-rata 67,31 dengan 65% siswa mencapai ketuntasan. 2) Pada siklus II aktivitas belajar mengalami peningkatan. Aktivitas individual mencapai skore 3,03 dengan persentase 76%. Sedangakan aktivitas kelompok mencapai skore 3,28 dengan persentase 81,7%. Hasil post tes menunjukkan adanya peningkatan rata-rata 75,64 dan persentase ketuntasan mencapai 88% dari 26 orang siswa. Berdasarkan data di atas dapat disimpulkan bahwa dengan menerapkan pembelajaran kooperatif picture and picture, dan menggunakan media mind map proses pembelajaran IPS menjadi lebih efektif dan siswa dapat meningkatkan kemampuan literasi sosialnya.Kata Kunci: penelitian tindakan kelas, kooperatif picture and picture, mind map, literasi sosial.

Abstract

ABSTRACTThe purpose of this study is to describe the students’ activity and skill achivement to comprehend the lesson material (student activement) in applying the inquiry learning model in IPS subject, concept comprehending the human in their relationship with the geographical condition around them, on the fourth grade of SDN Ketintang I/409 Surabaya. The design of this research is classroom action reasearch with three cycles of activities. The objects are 35 fourth grade students of SDN Ketintang I/409 Surabaya. The data is obtained from the observation and test result. The observations is conducted to observe the student’s activities during the learning process, while the test is performed to measure the students’ ability in comprehending the material (students’ studing achievement). Based on the data analysis result, it can be concluded that after applying the inquiry learning model, the student’ activities and studying achivement were improved. if in the cycles I the activity percentage is only 61,28% and the studying achivement is 63%, then in cycle II the activity percentage became 73,2%and the studing achievement became 74,3%, and in cycle III the activity percentage reached up to 82,9% and the studying achievement reached up to 85,71%. These activity and studying achievements were caused by the learning process wich involved the student to find out the material concept by themselves.Keywords: Comprehending Skill, Inquiry Learning Model, Students’ Activity.ABSTRAK                                                                                         Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui peningkatan keaktifan siswa, dan kemampuan siswa memahami materi pelajaran (hasil belajar) dalam penerapan model pembelajaran inkuiri pada mata pelajaran IPS konsep hubungan  manusia dengan kondisi geografis di sekitarnya kelas IV SDN Ketintang I/409 Surabaya. Desain penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas dengan 3 siklus kegiatan. Objek penelitian yaitu 35 siswa kelas IV SDN Ketintang I/409 Surabaya. Data diperoleh dari hasil observasi dan tes. Observasi dilakukan untuk mengamati keaktifan siswa selama proses pembelajaran, sementara tes dilakukan untuk mengukur kemampuan siswa memahami materi (hasil belajar siswa). Berdasarkan hasil analisis data dapat disimpulkan bahwa setelah menerapkan model pembelajaran inkuiri, keaktifan dan hasil belajar siswa mengalami peningkatan. Jika pada tindakan siklus I persentase keaktifan mencapai 61,28% dan ketuntasan hasil belajar 63%, siklus II keaktifan 73,2% hasil belajar 74,3%, dan pada siklus III keaktifan mencapai 82,9% dan hasil belajar mencapai 85,71%. Peningkatan keaktifan dan hasil belajar ini disebabkan oleh proses pembelajaran yang melibatkan siswa untuk menemukan sendiri konsep materi yang dipelajari.Kata Kunci: Keaktifan Siswa, Kemampuan Memahami, Model Pembelajaran Inkuiri.

Abstract

ABSTRACTThis Research aim to find out the significancy effect of ARIAS model to motivation to learn and abiliy to solve problems. The research is using quasy experiment methode. Designed with non equivalent control group. The exsperiment class using ARIAS model. While the control group using conventional learning models. The data in this research achieved by giving the pretest and postest in experiment and control class.The result of the research shows that mean value of motivation to learn at the postest of experiment class is 65,52% and at the control class 47,76%.  This result shows different 18,76%. The mean value of ability to solve problems test on the posttest at the experiment class shows at 77,83 while the control class shows 63,46. This result shows different 14,37. The result of the research test using independent sample t test using the SPSS 24 for windows programe. Keywords: Ability to Solve Problems, ARIAS Model, Motivation of Learning. ABSTRAK                                                                                         Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui seberapa signifikan pengaruh model pembelajaran ARIAS terhadap motivasi belajar siswa dan kemampuan memecahkan masalah. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimen  semu  (quasy  eksperiment)  dengan  rancangan  penelitian yang digunakan adalah Non Equivalent Control Group Design. Kelas eksperimen menggunakan model pembelajaran ARIAS, sedangkan kelas kontrol menggunakan model pembelajaran konvensional. Data  penelitian  diperoleh  melalui  pretest  dan  postttest pada  kelas  eksperimen  maupun  kelas  kontrol. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa rata-rata nilai posttest motivasi belajar siswa pada kelas eksperimen sebesar 65,52% dan nilai kelas kontrol sebesar 46,67%. Sehingga, selisih antara kelas eksperimen dengan kelas kontrol sebesar 18,76%. Adapun hasil tes kemampuan memecahkan masalah menunjukkan bahwa rata-rata nilai posttest pada kelas eksperimen sebesar 77,83 dan perolehan nilai kelas kontrol sebesar 63,46. Sehingga, selisih nilai rata-rata antara kelas eksperimen dengan kelas kontrol sebesar 14,37. Hasil penelitian dianalisis menggunakan uji independent t test berbantuan program SPSS 24 for windows. Kata Kunci: Kemampuan Memecahkan Masalah, Model Pembelajaran ARIAS, Motivasi Belajar.

Abstract

ABSTRACTThis research is a development approach that aims to (1) describe the feasibility media 3D maps have been developed, (2) describe the effectiveness of media 3D map. This research was conducted in SDN Lidah Kulon I Surabaya, with research subjects are students of class IV A SDN Lidah Kulon I Surabaya as the control class and IV B SDN Lidah Kulon I Surabaya as an experimental class of the school year 2015/2016. Type of research is the development of the research design form 4-D. The data was obtained as follows: media 3D map developed declared eligible. This is shown by the assessment of media experts validator that shows the percentage of votes at 92.5% which is in excellent condition and the assessment of experts validator percentage material showed 90% were classified as very good. As for testing the hypothesis analyzed by t-test showed that the learning outcomes of students in the experimental class is higher than the control class. This is indicated by tcount (4713)> ttable (1.664) with a mean value of the experimental class of 78.3750 higher than the learning outcomes of students in the control class is 67.6923. Thus, the use of a 3D map media influence on student learning outcomes. Based on the analysis, it can be concluded that the media 3D map effectively improve student learning outcomes fourth grade of Elementary School. Keywords: Development, Media Map 3D, Learning Outcomes. ABSTRAK                                                                                          Penelitian ini merupakan pendekatan dari pengembangan yang bertujuan untuk (1) mendeskripsikan kelayakan media peta 3D yang telah dikembangkan, (2) mendeskripsikan efektivitas media peta 3D. Penelitian ini dilakukan di SDN Lidah Kulon I Surabaya, dengan subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas IV A SDN Lidah Kulon I Surabaya sebagai kelas kontrol dan IV B SDN Lidah Kulon I Surabaya sebagai kelas eksperimen tahun pelajaran 2015/2016. Jenis penelitian yang dilakukan adalah pengembangan dengan bentuk desain penelitian 4-D. Data hasil penelitian yang diperoleh sebagai berikut: media peta 3D yang dikembangkan dinyatakan layak. Hal ini ditunjukkan dengan penilaian dari validator ahli media yang menujukkan persentase hasil penilaian sebesar 92.5% yang tergolong sangat baik dan penilaian dari validator ahli materi yang menunjukkan persentase sebesar 90%yang tergolong sangat baik. Sedangkan untuk pengujian hipotesis yang dianalisa dengan uji t menunjukkan bahwa hasil belajar siswa pada kelas eksperimen lebih tinggi dibandingkan pada kelas kontrol. Hal ini ditunjukkan dengan nilai thitung (4.713) > ttabel (1.664) dengan nilai mean pada kelas eksperimen sebesar 78.3750 lebih tinggi dibandingkan dengan hasil belajar siswa pada kelas kontrol yaitu 67.6923. Jadi, penggunaan media peta 3D berpengaruh terhadap hasil belajar siswa. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data, dapat disimpulkan bahwa media peta 3D efektif meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa kelas IV Sekolah Dasar. Kata Kunci: Pengembangan, Media Peta 3D, Hasil Belajar.

Abstract

Character development and intellectual enhancement of students were important and prioritized in the national education system in Indonesia. The purpose of this research was to explain and find out the results of implementation the Strengthening of Character Education (SCE) through social studies learning and school culture at Junior High School Sunan Giri Menganti Gresik. This research was qualitative research based on a case study. The research was conducted in September-December 2020 with the subjects were school principals, vice principals in curriculum, social studies teachers, and school members. Data collection techniques was interviews, documentation, field notes, and observations. Data analysis used three methods, there were data reduction, presentation of data results, and conclusions. The results showed that implementation the SCE at Junior High School Sunan Giri Menganti in social studies learning written in the RPP based on the 2013 Curriculum reference and in school culture through classroom management, Islamic culture, mutual cooperation and discipline, home visit, National Day Celebration, and Islamic Day Celebration.

Abstract

This research aims to explain the development of digital IPS teaching materials that can be used to improve critical thinking skills during a pandemic. With a focus on, 1) How is(X) the application of digital teaching materials in learning, (2) How do(X) students respond to teaching materials, and (3) How are(X) the effectiveness of teaching materials. The Data were collected by observation, interviews, and tests. The research location was located at one of the junior high schools in the city of Surabaya. The effectiveness test used Mann Whitney in the control class (not using the developed teaching materials) and the experiment (using the developed teaching materials). The results of the study show; 1) Social studies learning is more optimally carried out asynchronously, (2) The students’ response to teaching materials is positive, and (3) the results of the difference test between the control and experimental classes show a difference. In the control class, the critical thinking ability tends to be constant and the answers to the test results are homogeneous and textbook, while in the experimental class it shows an increase in critical thinking skills and the answers to the test results vary according to the environment of each students.

Abstract

This article aims to develop social studies learning modules based on local wisdom at MTs Ar Rohman Tegalrejo. The type of research is development research using the Borg and Gall model. The research process was carried out until the stage of perfecting the final product which included a feasibility test from several experts. Testing the results of module development using the Independent Sample T-test. The research was conducted at MTs Ar Rohman Tegalrejo. The researchers' efforts to present social studies learning modules based on local wisdom to support social studies integration by raising the theme of local wisdom around students so as to achieve good character education. Based on the assessment of the material aspect, it gets a score of 82%, the language aspect gets a score of 100%, the learning media aspect gets a score of 93% and expert practitioners score 85.6%. Based on the calculation of the average learning module, it is declared valid and suitable for use in learning. There are differences in the value of learning outcomes and also the character of loving local culture in the experimental class and the control class. Based on the output table of the independent samples test in the equal variances assumed section, it is known that the sig (2-tailed) value is 0.000 <0.05, so as the basis for decision making in the independent sample t test it can be concluded that h0 is rejected and h1 is accepted. This it can be concluded that there is a significant difference between the average student learning outcomes in the experimental group and the control group at MTs Ar Rohman Tegalrejo. Abstract

The reseacher is motivated by the the absence of a social science learning module (IPS) that integrates with Sedekah bumi as the local wisdom in conducting this research junior high school Menganti. Therefore a research on the development of IPS modules integrate the local wisdom on the diversity of Indonesian etnichs and cultures was conducting in classs 7th B of junior high school Menganti. This study aims to describe the feasibility of the IPS module in terms of validity and practicality. This research conducted using the development model with the R&D design of Borg and Gall (1975). The data in this study were obtained through a validation sheet and response questionnaire module. The results of the study show that: (1) module validity is based on the validation sheet in terms of valid category content and module validity in terms of display category is very valid, and (2) module practicality is based on a very practical category response questionnaire. From these results it can be concluded that the IPS module integrates the local wisdom of earth alms tradition is feasible to be used in the learning process.
