Abstract

This study aims to determine the barriers to student learning in the following competencies manufacture ladies fashion class XI in SMK N 1 IV Angkek Agam District in particular the manufacture of working clothes. Includes several indicators which measure decision ways, making basic patterns, making the burst pattern in accordance with the design, material cutting and marking patterns and sewing techniques. This type of research is descriptive quantitative. Techniques for data collection in this study uses total sampling with 24 people of sample. Type of instrument is used in the form of questionnaires. The results showed students in vocational SMK N 1 IV Angkek Kab. Agam experiencing barriers to learning, namely (1) take a measurement with high category, (2) create a basic pattern with a high enough category, (3) create a burst pattern according to the category of high design, (4) put the pattern and cut the material by category high (5) sewing techniques with high category. Barriers average student in the following competencies in manufacturing women's clothing considered quite.

Abstract

Abstract This problems were about presentation in fashion go to thecampus of students Tata Busana Jurusan KesejahteraanKeluarga FT UNP. The purpose of this research to saw thecorelation between knowledge with presentation in fashion go tothe campus of students Tata Busana Jurusan KesejahteraanKeluarga FT UNP in 2009 and 2010. The form of this researchwas descriptive corelation means the research that given theilustration about the corelations between fashion know ledgevariable (X) with fashion presentation variable (Y). Thepopulation and sample in this research were the students of TataBusana 2009 and 2010 were consist of 65 persons. To choosethe sample by using total sampling technique. The researchinstrument was test method and questionnaire with likert scale.The data analize used descriptive statistic and corelationanalysis technique used Test t. The result of this research got (1)fashion knowledge variable in poor category (32,3%), (2) thefashion presentation go to the campus in fair category (47,7%),and (3) The writer got the positive corelation between fashionknowledge (X) with fashion Presentation go to the campus (Y)of the students Tata Busana Jurusan Kesejahteraan Keluargawith contribution (23,9%).   Kata Kunci: Pengetahuan, Penampilan, Berbusana ke Kampus

Abstract

The purposes of this study are (1) to determine the quality of service provided to the customer of beauty salon in sub-district of West Padang. (2) to determine the level of satisfaction of customer who visit the beauty salon in sub-district of West Padang. (3) to determine the relationship of service quality to the customer satisfaction in the beauty salon. The research is descriptive quantitaive research using correlation, where the samples are taken from 37 customers who visited the beauty salon. In the sampling, the researcher using method of incidental sampling which used questionnaire that had been tested validity and reliability, and questionnaires were analyzed with descriptive statistic, test requirements analysis, correlation analysis and hypothesis testing. The results showed that: (1) The quality of service at beauty salon in sub-district of West Padang in the position of High category. (2) Customer satisfaction at beauty salon in sub-district of West Padang in the position of High category. (3) There is positive relationship between service quality to the customer satisfation in the beauty salon in sub-distict of West Padang.

Abstract

The problem in this study is characterized by decorative generated monotonous, rigid and difficult to find new ideas. The research objective was to express creativity S1 students in the subject of fashion design decorative Department of Family Welfare. Type of research is descriptive quantitative research population Family Welfare S1 students of fashion. Samples were taken with a total sampling technique. The data was collected using a Likert scale questionnaire. For the reliability of the instrument used Cronbach alpha formula. For the presentation of data analysis techniques used. The results seen from the six indicators are: 1. Openness to new experiences, considered good enough 2. Flexibility in thinking, considered good enough 3. Freedom of expression considered quite good 4. It has a pretty good fantasy categorized 5. The interest in creative activities categorized quite well 6. Confidence in their own ideas considered good enough. Based on the distribution of scores in a variable decorative creativity Creativity Students are classified as being categorized, while the level of achievement of the results of questionnaires in the category quite well. Can be seen and verified from the collection of student assignment in the form of a portfolio.

Abstract

Abstract This research describes the color, value and flatness color produced in cottondyeing using a banana leaf extract Mordant china with alum concentration of 10grams, 30 grams, 50 grams. This type of research is a quasi experimental researchdesign. The research consisted of two variables, namely, variable X is used in cottondyeing extracts banana leaf china and Y variables are the result of immersion includecolor (hue), dark bright color (value) and the flatness of color. The type of data is theprimary data. Data sources amounted to 15 people consisting of five faculty membersdressmaking KK subjects and 10 subjects dressmaking students. The data isprocessed using analysis of variance (ANOVA) one-way, with SPSS version 12.0.The results are significant differences due to the influence of the concentration ofalum 10 grams, 30 grams, 50 grams to cotton using leaf extract petai china. As forthe flatness of color there is no significant difference due to the effect of alumconcentration of 10 grams, 30 grams and 50 grams.
