Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji pengaruh aplikasi pupuk cair organik sabut kelapa dan pupuk kandang ayam terhadap ketersediaan dan serapan K dan pertumbuhan tanaman jagung (Zea mays L.) pada tanah Inceptisol Kwala Bekala. Penelitian ini menggunakan rancangan acak kelompok dengan dua faktor dan tiga ulangan. Faktor pertama, pupuk organik cair sabut kelapa dengan 4 taraf; K0(0 ml/pot), K1(100 ml/pot), K2(200 ml/pot), dan K3(300 ml/pot). Faktor kedua, pupuk kandang ayam dengan 4 taraf; A0(0 ton/ha), A1(10 ton/ha), A2(20 ton/ha), dan A3(30 ton/ha) dengan total 48 unit percobaan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pemberian pupuk organik cair sabut kelapa berpengaruh nyata terhadap bobot kering tajuk dan serapan K tanaman sedangkan pupuk kandang ayam berpengaruh nyata terhadap pH tanah, C-organik, K-dd, bobot kering tajuk dan serapan K. Interaksi antara keduanya hanya berpengaruh nyata terhadap bobot kering tajuk. Kata kunci :  Pupuk organik cair sabut kelapa, Pupuk kandang ayam, Kalium, Inceptisol, Jagung

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh aplikasi mikroba pelarut fosfat dan berbagai sumber pupuk P serta interaksinya untuk meningkatkan ketersediaan P dan pertumbuhan tanaman jagung (Zea mays L.) pada andisol terdampak eruspsi gunung sinabung. Rancangan yang digunakan pada penelitian ini disusun dalan Rancangan Acak Kelompok Faktorial yang terdiri dari 2 faktor dengan 3 ulangan Faktor I : mikroba  pelarut fosfat (M) dengan 3 taraf dosis (ml/10 kg BTKO): M0 (0), MB (Bulcholderia cepacia) (20), MF (Talaromices phinophylus) (20) dan Faktor II : sumber pupuk fosfat (P) dengan 4 jenis taraf (g/10 kg BTKO) yaitu: P0 (0), PS (3,18), PT (2,5) dan PR (4,1).Hasil penelitian menunjukkan pemberian mikroba pelarut fosfat berpengaruh nyata dalam meningkatkan pH tanah, Populasi mikroba, serapan P tanaman,dan pertumbuhan tanaman jagung. Pemberian berbagai sumber pupuk fosfat  berpengaruh nyata dalam meningkatkan, serapan P tanaman, dan pertumbuhan tanaman jagung. Interaksi antara mikroba pelarut fosfat dan berbagai sumber pupuk Fosfat  berpengaruh nyata dalam meningkatkan serapan P tanaman dan pertumbuhan tanaman jagung.

Abstract

This study aimed to determine the influence of giving Sinabung volcanic ash about dendang rice plant variety growth and production on the peat soil. This study used a non-factorial randomized block design with treatment V0 (without volcanic ash), V1 (250 g/10 kg wet peat), V2 (500 g/10 kg wet peat), V3 (750 g/10 kg wet peat), V4 (1000 g/10 kg wet peat), V5 (1250 g/10 kg wet peat), V6 (1500 g/10 kg wet peat) with three replications. The result showed that the giving of Sinabung volcanic ash obviously able to increase pH, Electrical Conductivity, Cation Exchange Capacity, Exchangeable Cations (Na, K, Ca, Mg), and         P-available on the  peat soil and obvious influential about the plant growth and production. Abstract

The aim of this research is to know the influence of a combination of T. diversifolia compost and chicken manure with SP-36 fertilizer on P Uptake and Corn Plant Growth (Zea mays L.) on Ultisol Soil Labuhan Batu Selatan. This study used Factorial Randomized Block Design (RAK) with 2 treatment factors and 3 replications. The first factor is organic material (B) consisting of 0% Organic Material (B0), 100% T. diversifolia (B1), 75% T. diversifolia + 25% Chicken manure (B2), 50% T. diversifolia + 50 % Chicken manure (B3), 25% T. diversifolia + 75% Chicken manure (B4), 100% Chicken manure(B5). The second factor is SP-36 (P) fertilizer consisting of 0 kg P2O5 / ha (P0), 50 kg P2O5 / ha (P1), 100 kg P2O5 / ha (P2), 150 kg P2O5 / ha (P3). The results of this study indicate that the application of organic matter has significant effect on P uptake, crown dry weight and root dry weight. Application of SP-36 fertilizer had significant effect on dry root weight and dry weight of canopy. The combination of oganic material with SP-36 fertilizer had significant effect on Plant P Uptake, root dry weight and dry weight of crown.Mohd Keyword : Chicken manure, SP-36 fertilizer, Tithonia diversifolia, Ultisol

Abstract

The availability of nutrients in the soil is a major factor affected the growth and production of plants. This study aims to determine the response of compost enriched chicken egg shell and beneficial microbes (rhyzobium + mycorrhiza) to some aspects of soil properties of Inseptisol as well as the growth and production of soybeans. This research was conducted in field trial UPT Balai Induk Palawija Tanjung Selamat and Soil Biology Laboratory Faculty of Agriculture University of North Sumatra. This research used was a Factorial Random Block Design. The first factor was chicken egg shell enriched consist of 4 treatments 0 ton/ha, 10 ton/ha, 20 ton/ha, 30 ton/ha and second factor was beneficial microbe (rhyzobium + mycorrhiza) consist of 2 treatmenst 0 g/polybag and 10 g/polybag. The results showed that the enriched compost enriched chicken egg shell increased the soil pH, C-organic, Ca-exchanged, shoot dry weight , the amoont of root nodule, percentage of degree of root infected by mycorrhiza, and weight of 100 seeds and the application of beneficial microbes increased root nodule and root infection degree.
