Abstract

Abstract

The cross-linking agent plays an important role in bioplastic mechanical properties. This study aimed to determine the effect of Sodium Hyaluronate (SoHA) as a synthetic cross-linking agent and the addition of Nyamplung Cake Extract (NCE) as an antimicrobial agent in the manufacture of bioplastic with hydroxypropyl starch (HPS) as based ingredient using the thermo-compression method. The novelty of the study was thiocyanate (SCN) formation in zone 3 (2161.66-2162.02/cm) and cyanate (C-N=O) in zone 6 (1,411.57 - 1,412.61/cm) of (1, 2 and 3%) SoHA bioplastic and cyanate formation in zone 6 and 7 (1,411.37 - 1,558.59/cm) of (1, 2 and 3%) SoHA – 20% NCE combined bioplastic originating from acetanilide group in SoHA and amide group in NCE. The formation of SCN and C-N=O in 2 and 3% SoHA bioplastic improved its sensitivity against gram-positive bacteria (Staphylococcus aureus) indicated by 0.6 mm and 0.45 mm inhibition zone, respectively. C-N=O formed in (1, 2 and 3%) SoHA – 20% NCE combined with bioplastic had 3.25 mm average inhibition zone against gram-positive bacteria (S. aureus), 2.75 mm against gram-negative bacteria (Escherichia coli), and 0.71 mm against fungi (Aspergillus niger). The analysis of mechanical properties showed that an addition of 3% SoHA was able to increase tensile strength and modulus of elasticity while reducing elongation, water solubility and water vapor permeability. Addition of (1, 2 and 3%) SoHA – 20% NCE resulted in a reverse effect.   Keywords: acetanilide, amide, cross-linking agent, cyanate, thiocyanate

Abstract

One effort to reduce infectious diseases by the National Medium-Term Development Plan in the health sector for the 2020-2024 period is through the Handwashing with Soap Program (HWWS). This program aimed to minimize disease transmitted through hands, especially among schoolchildren. Therefore, effective and proper promotion about HWWS is needed. This research aims to determine the differences before and after the intervention related to knowledge, attitudes, and skills of HWWS based on the WHO six-step handwashing guidelines. This study is a pre-experimental research with a one-group pretest-posttest study design conducted on students in grades 4, 5, and 6 at SDN 1 Iroyudan. The independent variable is health promotion through presentations, posters, and direct demonstrations, while the dependent variables are students' knowledge, attitudes, and skills related to HWWS. Univariate analysis was conducted to determine the frequency distribution and percentage of each variable. The normality of research data was determined by the Shapiro-Wilk test. Bivariate analysis was performed using the Paired T-test if the research data had a normal distribution. If the research data did not have a normal distribution, the Wilcoxon Signed Ranks Test was used. The research results are means with a 95% confidence interval. There were 39 students from grades 4, 5, and 6 at SDN 1 Iroyudan, consisting of 24 male students and 15 female students. The mean pretest knowledge score of students was 17.15, while after the intervention, it became 19.56 (p-value 0.000). The mean pretest attitude score of students was 17.10, while after the intervention, it became 19.49 (p-value 0.000). The mean pretest skill score of students was 5.85, while after the intervention, it became 11.85 (p-value 0.000). This indicates a statistically significant difference before and after the intervention in the mean values of knowledge, attitudes, and skills of students related to HWWS according to WHO.

Abstract

This article aims to analyze and examine the legal certainty of the prerequisites for the BPJS card in transferring land rights and the legality of transferring land rights without attaching a BPJS card after Presidential Instruction No. 1 of 2022. This article uses a normative legal research method. The nature of the research is descriptive analysis. The primary legal materials used in this writing are the 1945 Constitution of the Republic of Indonesia, Law Number 5 of 1960 concerning Basic Agrarian Regulations, Government Regulation Number 24 of 1997 concerning Land Registration, and Government Regulation of the Republic of Indonesia Number 18 of 2021 concerning Management Rights, Land Rights, Flats Units, and Land Registration and Presidential Instruction Number 1 of 2022 concerning Optimization of the Implementation of the National Health Insurance Program. As for secondary legal materials in the form of publications on law including text books, legal dictionaries, legal journals, and comments on court decisions. The tertiary legal materials used in this study are the Big Indonesian Dictionary and the Legal Dictionary. The results of the study show that legal certainty is a prerequisite for BPJS cards in transferring land rights, namely the government does not actualize aspects of legal certainty as prerequisites for BPJS cards in transferring land rights where legal regulations must be implemented consistently and consequentl.
