Abstract

Abstrak Di dunia pendidikan, selama ini yang didorong membaca adalah muridnya, tidak gurunya. Padahal budaya membaca guru Madrasah Ibtidaiyah (MI) juga masih jauh rendah. Mustahil budaya membaca murid bisa meningkat dan bagus jika gurunya sendiri masih rendah dan belum bisa menjadi contoh. Guru MI tidak sekadar dituntut membaca permulaan, namun juga membaca kritis. Membaca tidak sekadar membaca, namun butuh keterampilan karena berdampak pada pemahaman dan kualitas bacaan. Apalagi yang dibaca adalah artikel media massa bertema pendidikan yang isunya selalu aktual dan hangat. Membaca menjadikan guru MI peka, memiliki wawasan luas dan tidak tertinggal isu-isu hangat. Kemampuan membaca kritis guru MI adalah suatu kemampuan membaca yang dilakukan guru secara interpretatif, bijaksana, penuh tenggang hati, mendalam, evaluatif, menggunakan analisis dan tidak hanya mencari kesalahan. Banjir berita di era digital juga mengharuskan guru MI “melek literasi” dan memiliki kemampuan membaca kritis agar tidak tertipu dengan suatu berita.Kata Kunci: Membaca, Artikel Koran, Membaca Kritis, Guru MI Abstract In education, reading passion always pushed to the student, not the teacher. In fact, reading habit of MI teacher is poor. It is impossible, student’s reading habit will increase and will be good when their teacher can not be a good model. MI teacher not only prosecuted in early reading but also critical in reading. Reading not only read the text but also it needs skill because can be affected on understanding and quality of text. Moreover the text is newspaper article with theme education which the topic is actual and newest. Reading makes MI teacher sensitive, having wide knowledge and up to date on newest issues. The ability of critical reading of MI teacher is a reading ability which conducted by teacher interpretatively, wise, tolerance, rooted, evaluative, and using analysis. News flood in digital era require MI teacher to ‘literacy’ and having ability to critical reading so that not be fooled a news.Keywords: reading, newspaper article, critical reading, MI teacher

Abstract

Cultivation of character is very important to face the changing times that get the spotlight from the wider community. One way to instill the character of students in Pendowo State Elementary School 3, Kranggan District, Temanggung Regency is through spiritual activities. In this study will discuss about how to inculcate character through spiritual activities in SD Negeri 3 Pendowo. This study aims to describe the planting of student character through spiritual activities in Pendowo State Elementary School 3. This study is a qualitative study using field studies at Pendowo State Elementary School 3. Data collection techniques through observation, interviews. and documentation from various elements of the school elements. And the analysis is done by deductive method which is the concordance between the findings of existing theories and proven by the findings of the data in the field. Based on the results of research conducted by researchers concluded that the planting of student character through Spiritual activities in Pendowo State Elementary School 3by using several methods, namely the Duha prayer, Dhuha prayer in congregation, reading the Koran, the reading of short letters / juz amma, reading Asmaul Husnah , and recitation / culture, and sharing make it possible to change the character of students to behave well.

Abstract

Batik as an artistic and cultural heritage of the archipelago (Nusantara) must be preserved as well as preserved. However, today’s phenomenon is rampant batik piracy. There are three models of batik piracy, namely plagiarism of batik designs, piracy of batik art works, and claims of batik copyright. In 2019 there was copyright on 23 batik motifs owned by the Nabire Regency Government. Not to mention the cases that have not been revealed in the mass media. This article discusses three studies. First, batik as an artistic and cultural heritage of the archipelago. Second, the irony of pirating batik art. Third, the strategy to break the chain of piracy of batik art. Of the strategies examined in this article, there are nine methods of pirating batik. First, assertiveness in taking action against hijackers. Second, protection of local and national batik works. Third, certification and copyright to protect batik from piracy. Fourth, is suing the hijacker legally. Fifth, applying the pillars of art which are not limited to reading, painting, and filing. Sixth, collecting data on batik in Indonesia. Seventh, collective awareness of art, culture, and archipelago heritage inherent in batik. Eighth, in-depth art education through strengthening the curriculum, teachers, subjects, and learning methods. Ninth, it is necessary to have a batik program goes to school or batik goes to campus.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the implementation of PPT learning media based on Temanggung local wisdom on the mathematics learning outcomes of grade II students of MI Salafiyah Kranggan, Temanggung Regency in the 2021/2022. The research approach is quantitative with a quasi-experimental method with a pre test and post test control group design with a purposive sampling system. The research subjects were grade II students of MI Salafiyah with two study groups, namely control class II A, and experimental class II B. The treatment in the two classes was differentiated by the application of a control group pre test and post test design. The treatment in both classes was differentiated by the application of PPT learning media based on Temanggung local wisdom in the experimental class, while the control class did not. The instruments used were tests with a total of 30 items and observation sheets. The results showed that: (1) the material prepared is in accordance with the objectives, the features of learning media make it easier for teachers and students in learning and the quality of learning media can produce fun, innovative, effective, creative classes, and active students in learning, and (2) there is an effect of PPT learning media based on Temanggung local wisdom on the math learning outcomes of grade II students of MI Salafiyah Kranggan, which is indicated by the value of tcount> ttable or 3.410> 2.120 and sig. (2-tailed) = 0.004 <0.05. It is evident that the experimental class post test results have increased by 14%, with the pre test value obtaining an average of 69 after treatment and the average post test value obtained is 83

Abstract

This research-based community service aims to analyze the overview and media needs of Game Temanggung Library (GATEL) in Madrasah Ibtidaiyah in Temanggung Regency by applying a survey method with a cross-sectional survey type and in-depth interviews. The findings in this article refer to ten criteria. First, 100% of Madrasah Ibtidaiyah in the assisted subjects have no games for learning. Second, not having games is because there is no training, ignorance, and unfamiliarity with games. Third, there has never been training on making games in all Madrasah Ibtidaiyah in the assisted subjects. Fourth, the condition of Madrasah Ibtidaiyah students in the assisted subjects in playing games, data obtained 60% Madrasah Ibtidaiyah often, 40% Madrasah Ibtidaiyah ever, and 0% Madrasah Ibtidaiyah never. Fifth, the condition of the names of games/types played by students in the assisted subjects is very diverse, namely LoL games, Jigsaw Puzzles games, E-Sport, LEGO Nijago, and Once Upon a Tower. Sixth, the condition of the games played by students in the assisted subjects integrated into learning obtained data very often 0%, quite often 0%, and less often as much as 100%. Seventh, the causes of students playing games without being directed and not integrated into learning is obtained because the teacher cannot direct and there is no planning, no assistance, lack of concern, not accompanied by parents and teachers, and not noticed by the teacher. Eighth, the condition of teacher knowledge in the assisted subjects on educational games obtained data that 80% know and 20% do not. Ninth, the condition of Madrasah Ibtidaiyah teachers' knowledge on the assisted subjects of Homer, Prodigy Math, Buzzmath, Robot School, PBS Kids, The Time Tribe, and One Globe Kids games obtained data of 20% of teachers know, and 80% of teachers do not know. The last aspect is that all assisted subjects provided input on the need for training because there has rarely been training or training in making games.

Abstract

The lack of innovation in learning impacts the low learning outcomes for class I Mathematics at MI Al-Ma'arif Kupen, Temanggung Regency. The research aims to reveal the implementation of the make-a-match model through picture cards based on local Temanggung wisdom in improving Mathematics learning outcomes. This research method is collaborative Class Action Research with the Kemmis & Taggart type consisting of 2 stages of the PTK cycle. Data collection techniques are observation, in-depth interviews, tests, document studies, and source triangulation, namely techniques used to increase the validity and reliability of research findings by comparing and verifying data obtained from various sources. The research subjects were 30 class I students at MI Al-Ma'arif Kupen, Temanggung Regency. The research results show that students' mathematics learning outcomes in the cognitive aspect using the make-a-match learning model through picture cards based on local wisdom in Temanggung increased according to the pretest and posttest results, which improved quite well. Before the action, classical learning results were only 13.3% with an average class score of only 40.3 points; in cycle I, there was an increase of 75.3 with classical learning completeness of 80%; and in cycle II, there was an increase in classical learning completeness in numbers. 96.6%, with an average score of 96. Further research needs to be carried out to examine in more depth the make-a-match model in Mathematics subjects according to current developments.

Abstract

The lack of development of educational games with local wisdom in learning Al-Quran tajweed material, especially the reading laws of waqof and washal for grade 5 SD / MI students. This research aims to analyze the needs of students and teachers for the development of the Batu-Q game, and test the feasibility of the Batu-Q game with Temanggung local wisdom. The type of Research and Development (RnD) with ADDIE method type Robert Maribe Branch. This research was conducted at 34 MI / SD, and 1 MI as a limited scale trial. The data collection technique used a needs analysis questionnaire, feasibility test questionnaire, and document study. Data analysis techniques were carried out using quantitative and qualitative interpretative analysis techniques. The research findings state that the development of the Batu-Q game was carried out with ADDIE stages which obtained a game with an attractive profile for learning Al-Quran in the aspects of waqof and washal in grade 5 SD / MI. The results of the needs of Batu-Q game development from the student element get a score of 85.20%, and the teacher element gets a score of 83.20% which means it is in great need. The game feasibility test results from game media experts get a score of 97.5%, the test results of local wisdom material experts get a score of 90%, and from Al-Quran material experts get a score of 90% which shows the Batu-Q game is feasible to implement. This research is limited to the Batu-Q game for grade 5 SD / MI, and is limited only to waqof and washal reading material. Future research needs to be done to develop more innovative educational games to answer the challenges of the times.
