Abstract

Indonesia merupakan kawasan yang rawan bencana. Selain menimbulkan korban, bencana alam juga meruntuhkan banyak infrastuktur, salah satunya infrastruktur komunikasi. Dengan adanya masalah komunikasi dengan infrastuktur yang terbatas seperti yang terjadi di daerah bencana, solusi yang dapat dilakukan adalah dengan membangun Mobile Ad-hoc Network (MANET) karena memerlukan infrastruktur yang sederhana. Pada tugas akhir ini dilakukan pengujian dan analisis kualitas layanan (Quality of service) pada MANET menggunakan perangkat raspberry pi serta routing protokol Babel. QoS mengacu kepada kemampuan jaringan untuk menyediakan layanan yang baik melalui teknologi dan infrastruktur tertentu yang bertujuan untuk pertukaran informasi agar tersampaikan dengan baik. Parameter yang dijadikan acuan dalam penelitian ini antara lain adalah delay, jitter, throughtput danĀ  packet loss. Pengujian menggunakan topologi mesh dengan empat skenario, satu skenario dengan kondisi full connected dan tiga skenario dengan kondisi partial connected sekalian juga mengetahui mekanisme protokol yang digunakan, selain itu dilakukaan juga saat terjadi interferensi dan tidak terjadi interferensi. Secara keseluruhan, hasil kualitas layanan pada saat pengujian dengan skenario topologi kondisi full connected pada MANET yang dibangun, lebih baik dibandingkan dengan kondisi partial connected.

Abstract

A good design for the internet network is needed to create a good internet network. The problem that often occurs is the availability of the internet network. A solution that can be applied to this problem is to implement Load Balancing and Failover. The network concept used was Load Balancing with the Per Connection Classifier method and Failover. Load Balancing is a technique used to optimally distribute traffic loads on a network with two or more connections. The method used was the Per Connection Classifier which could group connections. The Failover technique was also applied to the redundancy function. The test scenario would test the distribution of traffic loads, Failover testing, and comparative analysis of QoS with parameters jitter, packet loss, throughput, and delay on the performance of the system with Per Connection Classifier method based on Classifier Both Addresses, Both Ports, and Both Addresses and Ports. The results of the test show that the system is able to distribute the traffic, the system can create redundancy, while for overall QoS testing, Both Addresses gets better performance than other classifiers.

Abstract

Arduino is one of the microcontroller devices commonly used on the Internet of Things. This research designed and objectified web-based data logging system that aimed to record communication and sensir data in iot devices, so it could monitor log data in iot. Devices from this data logging system was created using arduino uno r3 with adding ethernet shield modul and temperature sensor DHT 11. in iot devices, there is an important parameter, that is date time as a history in data logging sistem using an actual time. Website was functioned as system for showing data from log data and could be monitored realtime. This system could record communication brtween arduino device and NTP server using internet network. Beside that?this system could record important parameters in the system such as IP source address, ip destination address, ip address in each node, device time, and room temperature information. Parameters that had been recorded would be stored to database, then would be showed in web data logging.
