Abstract

The economy of a country is largely determined by the flow of capital or investment that enters the economic chain. Investment can accelerate the development of infrastructure that supports supply distribution and provides capital to increase production output. The increase in the flow of foreign investment in particular can replace the role of foreign debt for developing countries such as Indonesia which are trying to continue to carry out economic development. This study aims to analyze the effect of inflation, the composite stock price index, foreign exchange reserves, and government spending on the flow of foreign direct investment to Indonesia in 2000-2021 using the Ordinary Least Square (OLS) analysis tool. The results in this study state that foreign exchange reserves have a positive effect on foreign direct investment, while the composite stock price index has a negative effect on foreign direct investment. Meanwhile, inflation and government spending were found to have no effect on foreign direct investment into Indonesia. Based on these results, the government is expected to be able to maintain economic stability in Indonesia so that the targeted economic growth can be achieved and the position of national foreign exchange reserves strengthens every year. Thus, foreign investors will be more interested in investing in Indonesia.

Abstract

Estimating the effect of foreign investment, exports, imports and the money supply on economic GDP in Indonesia is the goal of this study. For 2005-2020, the data used for each variable comes from the Indonesian Central Bureau of Statistics and the type of data is time series data. Ordinary Least Square (OLS) is the type of model used in this study with multiple linear analysis data analysis methods. Judging from the calculation results of the Ordinary Least Square analysis, it can be seen that the Import and Foreign Investment variables have no effect on GDP in Indonesia, while those that affect economic growth in Indonesia are the Export and Money Supply variables.

Abstract

The increasing number of unemployed in Indonesia has encouraged the government to innovate with the independent entrepreneurship program. This activity was carried out at Leather Lovers UMKM with two objectives: (a) increasing knowledge and entrepreneurial skills in the tofu processing business; and (b) provide entrepreneurial mental strength to students who take part in the entrepreneurial internship program. Direct action is used in internship programs for business creation, business planning models, production, and marketing. This is done through direct and interactive learning methods. Five students took part in activities for six months which included business planning, production, cost of goods manufactured, cost of goods sold, and packaging, and online and offline marketing. The MSME internship program increases entrepreneurial mentality and entrepreneurial spirit through training and business mentoring stages. The results after six months of activities show that the students' entrepreneurial mentality has increased and their desire to try has increased.
