Abstract

The research was conducted in Department of Public Works employee Indragiri Hulu. The purpose of this research was to know the influence of commitment, empowernment, and controlling towards the discipline with individual test and overall test, and to know the influence of discipline toward the effectiveness of the Department of Public Works employee Indragiri Hulu. The research method applied descriptive quantitative and the population in this research were 118 employees. By using a Purposive Random Sampling method, it has been obtained 92 respondents. Data obtained with questionnaires. This research used Two phase Multiple Regression Analysis. The result of research shows that the commitment, empowernment, and contolling have been influence of significant toward the discipline. It indicates from the value of Fobs> Ftable at the level of α = 5%           Fobs=38,261>Ftable = 2,48 with probability (p) smaller than 0,05 and determination coefficient value (R2) is 56,6%. It means that 56,6% commitment, empowernment, and controlling toward the employee’s discipline. A partially (individual test) shows that the value of commitment 2,369, empowernment -0,04, controlling 7,811. This result indicates that commitment and controlling have most dominant influence on employee’s discipline, empowerment has no influence on the discipline of employee. Discipline has been influence of significant toward the effectiveness (p<0,05) with tobs =3,503> ttable = 1,66298

Abstract

Organizational performance is a standard benchmark for a company to continue to innovate to achieve company goals. This study examines the effect of participatory decision making on organizational performance with ethical leadership as a mediating variable. The sampling technique used the Random Sampling method with a total data of 100 respondents who are employees of private companies located in Jakarta using partial least squares (PLS) data analysis. Finally, from this research, it can be seen that participatory decision-making significantly affects morals, attitudes, and knowledge. Then, morals and knowledge have a significant effect on organizational performance. Meanwhile, the attitude has no significant effect on organizational performance. And for the mediating variable, it is known that morals and knowledge are significant in mediating participatory decision making with organizational performance.

Abstract

ABSTRACTThis study aims to analyze the influence of Leadership and Application of Fingerprint Attendance Model to Work Productivity With Work Discipline as Moderating Variable. In this research,  sampling method used is accidental sampling method (non-probability sampling). In this study using three variables, independent variables are Leadership (X1) and Attendance Model Fingerprint (X2) with dependent variable is Productivity (Y) and moderating variable is Discipline (Z). Population in this research is employees at PT. ASTRA Daihatsu Motor, and samples are 85 respondents. The result of the research shows that Leadership variable is not able to moderate to Work Productivity, Fingerprint Attendance Model variable has a significant effect on Work Productivity, Work Discipline variable also has a significant effect on Work Productivity, Leadership and Work Discipline is not able to moderate to Work Productivity, Fingerprint and Discipline Attendance Model Work is also not able to moderate against Work ProductivityKeywords: Leadership, Fingerprint Attendance Model, Work Productivity, and Work Discipline.
