Abstract

This article explains about globalization versus national resposiveness matrix, meeting the challenge, cross cultural differences and similiarities, parochialism and simplification, also cultural differences in selected countries and regions. The purpose of the research is to find factor, method, strategy in order to bridging management across cultural, so that a manager can have a better view in making a decision based on cultural differences and need of the company. From this article can be concluded that there are four factor that must be consider in Multi National Company (MNC). Those factors are (1) It’s important to be divided in worldwide standard; (2) It’s important to differennate product at the local market; (3) It’s important to have insider; (4) there is one more contribution to local condition. In order to succeed in MNC, a company must survive from across cultural threat, there are parodialism and simplification.

Abstract

Investor uses strategy and a certain technique to analyze different situation and condition happened between one and other exchange companies. The strategy is developed based on experiences, research result, analysis, and market surveys in a certain period. Articel is the first part of  three series which presents, evaluate, examine of the strategy, and consider tactics in sharing share on the market. It is concluded that the investor should use money as loan that should be payed as soon as possible for the sake of its interests.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analyze the needs and customer satisfaction in service advertising and design an attractive site customer satisfaction, user friendly and dynamic. Ways to do research using analytical method, data collection method, and design method. The collection of data and information were done through a field research. The results obtained from this research is the design of e-CRM applications (Electronic Customer Relationship Management) which aims to produce an interactive Internet-based applications for any strategy to enhance relationships with existing customers, increase new customers and increase profits from the sale. In addition, companies can thrive in providing quality service to our customers, which in turn can increase its profit. The conclusion of this research is to create a dynamic website, which is useful for providing better services to consumers, thus increasing profits for customers and companies.

Abstract

Information system in a company is expected to support their business processes. Therefore, it requires an evaluation of existing information system and provides recommendations hospitality management information system to meet the gap between existing information systems and user needs. The method of this study is divided into two, namely the method of data collection and analysis methods. Methods of data collection using interviews and observation techniques. Methods of data analysis using gap analysis, followed by a costbenefit analysis and IT Balanced Scorecard. The evaluation results through Fit/Gap Analysis states that the implementation of a management information system is feasible and able to meet all user needs. Cost Benefit Analysis provides an assessment of tangible benefits IT Balanced Scorecard provides an assessment of intangible benefits. The results of the two methods stated that the new information system worth to be implemented.

Abstract

The research aims to determine whether there is a relationship between the quality of sales information systems and user performance. The research method uses survey correlation techniques. Data are collected using a questionnaire previously calibrated to test the validity (product moment) and instrument reliability (Alpha Cronbach). The population used is users of information systems that are sales employees. There is a total sample of 20 people obtained, with Non-Probability Sampling that is saturated sampling / survey. Data analysis is performed using regression techniques of simple linear and simple correlation. Prior to analysis, test of analysis requirements need to be done, which are normality and homogeneity test. The results show acorrelation coefficient of 0:51 or 51% which means that there is a positive relationship on medium level between the Effectiveness of sales Information Systems with Users performance. The coefficient of determination is 0:26or 26%. This means that 26% of the variation in user performance can be explained by the variable Effectiveness of Sales Information Systems. Meanwhile, the remainder which is 74% consists of factors (variables), such as leadership style, work environment, salary and others. It can be concluded from this research that there is a positive correlation (relationship) at medium level which is significant between the Effectiveness of Sales Information System with User Performance, which means that the higher the level of effectiveness of Sales Information System is, the higher the level of user performance will be.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to identify and quantify risks that may occur any time in the application of information technology in a company, as well as to provide information on the risks associated with the security of information technology system of the company. The methods used are: data collection and analysis techniques. Data collection includes: literature and field studies, in which the field study is conducted by interview and observation. Analytical technique used in the measurement of risk is OCTAVE-S. The results found the risks associated with security management, contingency planning, vulnerability management, as well as design and security architecture. It iscocluded from this this study that there are still a lot of risks that can threaten companies such as lack of contingency and disaster recovery plan.
