Abstract

Salah satu komponen penting pada roket Dextrose adalah tabung motor roket. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang tabung motor roket Dextrose yang mampu menahan tekanan internal 5 MPa. Pada penelitian ini, desain tabung roket Dextrose menggunakan silinder berdinding tebal dengan diameter luar 32 mm, radius fillet 2 mm, dan panjang 200 mm. Variasi ketebalan dinding yang digunakan yaitu 2 mm, 2.5 mm, dan 3 mm. Tekanan internal divariasikan mulai dari 1, 2, 3, 4, dan 5 MPa. Material yang digunakan dalam penelitian yaitu Aluminium 6063-T5. Analisis tegangan statik menggunakan metode elemen hingga dengan perangkat lunak Ansys Workbench. Hasil simulasi menunjukkan tabung motor roket dengan ketebalan 3 mm mampu menahan tekanan internal hingga 5 MPa karena memiliki faktor keamanan lebih dari 2, yaitu 2.58. Perbandingan nilai tegangan Hoop dan Longitudinal maksimum antara perhitungan analitik dan simulasi Ansys Workbench digunakan untuk proses validasi. Persentase kesalahan antara perhitungan analitik dan simulasi Ansys Workbench kurang dari 0.5 persen.

Abstract

The rocket motor tube is the main component of the Dextrose rocket. This paper aims to investigate the effect of tube length and fillet radius on the safety factor of a dextrose rocket motor tube using Ansys Workbench. The Dextrose rocket tube uses Al 6063-T5 material with an outer diameter of 32 mm, a wall thickness of 3 mm, and internal pressure of 5 MPa. The rocket motor tube length is varied by 200, 250, 300, and 350 mm. The fillet radius uses variations of 3, 4, and 5 mm. The analysis was carried out using the finite element method with the help of Ansys Workbench. The simulation results show that the safety factor does not have a significant effect on changes in the length of the rocket tube. The safety factor increases as the fillet radius increases.

Abstract

To make a furniture product, you must follow the correct steps,from designing to the finishing stage. A mature design certainlyrequires a research process stage, the author takes the conceptof Gandrung Dance from Banyuwangi as the idea of creating aterrace chair. The Banyuwangi Gandrung Dance is a traditionaldance of the Osing Banyuwangi tribe. The variety of movementsand clothing styles are very interesting if you look at the forms ofdecoration and the meaning of the basic colors of clothing. Fromthe variety of movements and decorations, it can be exploredand then developed into the concept of designing a terracechair. In the design process, it begins with making severalsketches, then a sketch is selected for the design determinationwhich is then made a working drawing, followed by thepreparation of materials for production to planning theproduction process.
