Abstract

Abtract This study aimed to study the distribution of fluids, anomaly sightings and subsurface models from geothermal areas discussed in Penen village. Blue Biru District Deli Serdang Regency. The measurement of the geoelectric method is done by making the electrode path that injects current through the electrode. The potential difference that arises in the resistivity ABEM gauge can be measured by the apparent resistivity value obtained from the geoelectric device. Then the data is processed using Res2Div to get a 2D cross-section of the resistivity value of the rock layer. The analysis shows that the resistivity value (0.00-100) ohm-m and the throw layer model. Resistivity value (150-200) ohm-m model of the siltstone layer. The resistivity value (350-500) model of the sand layer ohm-m, and the resistivity value> 2250 ohm-m which identifies the limestone layer. From the results of this study, it can be concluded that Penen Village, Biru Biru Sub-District, Deli Serdang Regency supports having geothermal energy.Keywords: Geoelectric, GPS, Susceptibility, Resistivity, Geothermal  AbstrakTujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui penyebaran fluida, penampang anomali dan model lapisan bawah permukaan dari daerah berpotensi geothermal tepatnya di desa Penen. Kecamatan Biru Biru Kabupaten Deli Serdang. Pengukuran metode geolistrik dilakukan dengan membuat lintasan elektroda yang menginjeksi arus melalui elektroda. Beda potensial yang muncul pada alat pengukur ABEM resistivity dapat terukur sehingga didapat harga resistivitas semu yang diperoleh dari alat geolistrik. Kemudian data diolah menggunakan Res2Div untuk mendapatkan penampang kontur 2D dari nilai resistivitas lapisan batuan. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa nilai resistivitas (0,00-100) ohm-m dan model lapisan batuan lempung. Nilai resistivitas (150-200) ohm-m model lapisan batuan lanau. Nilai restivitas (350 - 500) ohm-m model lapisan pasir, dan nilai restivitas >2250 ohm-m yang mengidentifikasikan lapisan batu gamping. Dari hasil penelitian ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa daerah Desa Penen Kecamatan Biru Biru Kabupaten Deli Serdang berpotensi memiliki energi panas bumi. Kata kunci: Geolistrik, GPS, Suseptibilitas, Resistivity, Geothermal

Abstract

The objective of this research is to know the conceptual knowledge of the students using cooperative learning model of group investigation type toward conceptual knowledge on the subject matter of temperature and heat in class XI semester I SMK Muhammadiyah 8 Medan T.P. 2017/2018. The research type is quasi experiment with pretest-postes design. The population of the study were all students of class XI SMK Muhammadiyah 8 Medan. The research sample consisted of 2 classes determined by cluster random sampling technique. Class XI TKJ - 1 as experimental class by applying cooperative learning model type investigation and class XI TKJ - 2 as control class by applying conventional learning model. The instrument used in this study is the test of cognitive learning outcomes in the form of multiple choice which is accompanied by observation of student activity. Based on the results of pretest data processing using different test, the value of both classes at the significant level α = 0.05 concluded there is no significant difference from the value of pretes of both classes, meaning that the two classes have the same initial ability. Furthermore the two classes are treated differently, after the learning is completed in both classes is done postes. Based on the results of hypothesis testing with a significant level of 0.05 concluded that there is a difference in conceptual knowledge due to the influence of cooperative learning model type group investigation of conceptual knowledge on the subject matter of temperature and heat in class XI semester I SMK Muhammadiyah 8 Medan

Abstract

This study aims to develop inquiry learning-based physics worksheets on the material of temperature and heat. The subjects in this study were students of 11 grade sciences Nasrani Private School 3 Medan totaling 20 students. The research method is Research and Development (R&D) using 4D (Define, Design, Develop and Disseminate) development model by S.Thiagarajan and Semmel (1994). The instruments used consisted of a material expert validation questionnaire, learning experts, a teacher assessment questionnaire in the field of study, and a student response questionnaire. The data analysis technique used is descriptive. The results of data analysis obtained validation of material experts by 85%, learning experts by 65%, teacher assessments by 87%. The response of students in a limited trial with a sample of 5 people was 74% included in the good criteria. Meanwhile, in the wide trial, the percentage of student responses with a sample of 20 people was 91.5% with very good criteria for learning process.

Abstract

Penelitian yang dilakukan untuk mengidentifikasi potensi panas bumi di Desa Limang Kecamatan Tigabinanga Kabupaten Karo menggunakan citra satelit landsat 8 dan geolistrik resistivitas terletak pada koordinat 03o07’13” LU dan 98o14’08” BT yang berada 600-700 meter di atas permukaan laut. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui adanya anomali panas sebagai pendugaan terdapatnya potensi panas bumi di bawah permukaan daerah tersebut dengan menggunakan metode citra landsat 8 dan geolistrik resistivitas. Pengambilan data dilakukan dengan dua cara yaitu pengunduhan data citra landsat 8 yang telah disesuaikan pada laman USGS untuk metode penginderaan jauh dan melalukan penelitian di lapangan dengan alat geolistrik resistivitas (ARES-G4 v4,7 , SN: 0609135). Data yang telah diperoleh kemudian diolah untuk dianalis dan diinterpretasikan, pengolahan dan analisis data dilakukan dengan software Envi, ArcGIS, Res2dinv dan lainnya. Hasil penelitian citra landsat 8 menunjukkan korelasi NDVI dan LST dan korelasi LST dengan tutupan lahan dan elevasi yang menunjukkan adanya anomali yang kemudian disesuaikan dengan faktor penyebabnya. Metode geolistrik resistivitas menunjukkan  nilai resistivitas pada daerah tersebut berkisar dari 0,904 Ωm sampai dengan 1,26 Ωm pada lintasan 1 dan 0,114 Ωm sampai dengan 9,93 Ωm pada lintasan 2 yang menginterpretasikan bahwa struktur lapisan bawah permukaan tersebut didominasi oleh air tanah yang terkontaminasi oleh air sungai yang mengalir di dekat daerah penelitian dan tanah lempung atau lanau, yang merupakan hasil pelapukan batuan yang mengandung silika oleh asam karbonat dan aktivitas panas di bawahnya dan mengakibatkan munculnya manifestasi air panas di atas permukaan di daerah tersebut.
